Looks really good Cam. Remember to add some lighter, shinier areas of copper to reflect the wear on the coin's patina.

Time to practice your verdigris...

I recently made verdigris wash.. For such a huge piece probably the best way to deal with it...wash it in a big and shallow plate...and then drying??? Probably twice, for every side at least once?

Wow, Cam you continue to amaze. Did you ever mention why your commission is a giant high detail penny? Is it a batman thing, like someone mentioned? Some other game related thing? Present for a coin collector?

By the painted pic size that looks like the size of a large dinner plate . I can’t imagine eating off of that , wouldn’t want to eat corn off of Lincoln’s beard.

I believe it is a Batman Batcave thing. The client will soon let me know as it is on it's way now.

Wow, the fire truck is looking amazing Cam. You put so much time and detail into the vehicles you make. I think someone said before that you put so mcuh detail into your vehicles that them look like they're going to drive away, and I have to agree.
