Thanks for that. Shows just where I'm going wrong...
...That is the point where I do pretty much none of the above and then roughly measure and cut by eye.

Well, in my defense it is only half a rock. But all those blades come with the do not resharpen warning, I do it anyway. I live dangerously. I also grind down old utility knife blades to make interesting exacto knife blades. I'm what they call a 'bad seed'.
Oh, and PETA.

Updates
Can't glue everything together until the interior is all done. Thinking stainless steel sinks for this. Blue tiles for the walls. Toilet color? Hmmm... And the showers, mother of pearl tiles. Because I can.. dream, anyway
And the reserve project
Being able to stand the mini on the walls like that means it will playable. Ha! It'll mean the mini is actually in the space between the walls. Or so goes the theory. Now onto the rest.
Thanks for stopping by.

Very nice. The interior of the comfort station looks great, the walls are just plain awesome.
They only moan about about the blades because it means less $ in their pocket. Also yes PETA, they are not even active in the UK and I wish them some Darwin awards.

Oh, I kind of like some of the "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" posters. That and the lettuce bikinis some of them wear hereabouts when protesting. Not that I'm a sexist pig or anything like that
Thanks for the compliments, Noodles and Doc.
So, the shower. Still contemplating the faucet handles, and the stall door. I like the idea of two faucet handles, but a lot of shower faucet handles are single lever these days. And glass doors, but that doesn't seem such a good idea for this piece, even frosted glass. So, More research. Anyway, the start...
Top view for scale.
And a couple of side views to show the shower head and the drain.
The tile is supposed to be mother of pearl. For the showerhead I just filed down the head of a pin-- the kind with the round head-- and bent the shaft to the right angle. Makes for a convincing enough shower head in this scale, methinks. Need to get a better photo of the drain too.

I'd go glass doors or glass block except for a walk in space. A curtain would look out of place with such nice tile work.

Thanks all. I'm thinking frosted white glass too. I'll try that first. 'Cuz I have the material on hand to do it.
Used a hole punch, painted the disk with metallics, then stabbed a pattern into the top with a pin that I jammed into a bamboo skewer...
How about some pix?
My hi-tech ejection system to dislodge the plugs
All the bits, and my homebrew probe/hole punch/whatever
After painting them silver and stabbing them multiple times
And done
For the shower head
and putting it together. I'll cut the pin shorter later, when I'm ready to glue it into place.
Still need to figure out the faucet parts. Then onto sinks. I'm saving the thrones for last.
It was your suggestion, good sir. It does look better in RL too. The stuff doesn't photograph easily.

For the handle couldn't you do similar to the shower head? Make a flat back like the drain, flatten the tip of the pin again, but this time attach that to the drain piece, bend the pin right at the head, cut it short and you have a single handle control.

I was thinking something like that, but with 2 handles, one above the other (the on/off handles and the water mix handle) as seen in some modern showers.
Of course I missed a beat there. Should have made the drain and backplate hex shaped Hmm, I suppose it is possible to overdue the hexes...

Find me some Dina Meyer miniatures to put in said communal shower and sure, why not? No Casper Van Dien's though. Not going to have a sausage party in the shower.

I'm not sure why the hexagons are "Infinity" but I like them much more than skulls. I find the skull motif repulsive. Too much like the totenkopf.

Why, of course...
Works out very well. Thanks for the idea The top knob is on/off and of course water flow, the bottom is the mixer for hot/cold. I will need to do some painting on them to indicate that of course. But I'm convinced that these are believable. Pins. Go figure.
And the frosted glass door, WIP
If you dismantle a disposable razor, you can get some interesting bits.
I used the black pieces in the manufacture of the shower handles, along with pins. Also, Another use for the pins...
Faucets for sinks!

Hahaha, yeah. I learned my Spanish from East coast schools in the 1990s. It turned out to be Castellano, from Spain. Spanish Spanish. Not worth much in the Western US. All of the idioms are off , most people look at me with a kind of confused, WTH is this guy trying to say expression, so I stopped trying to speak Spanish to folks. Like someone learning English as a second language from someone in England and then trying to talk to Americans. The idioms are all wrong.
I've actually had a hard time trying to understand people in certain parts of England, and we are supposedly speaking the same language!
Anyway, love your work. I am relatively sure I could not ever be that accurate working with card. Beautiful terrain.

Uses number 102, 103, 104, 105, and 106 for pins . Don't forget to use the long parts to be the granny bars in the shower or next to the toilet. You could also make towel bars out of them too. And use 4 of them with the heads being the feet going up to a piece of plastic for those elderly shower chairs.
