Who makes these ???

That looks a lot like the model allright, except you can see how even the chinese knew that angled armor is a good thing, yet the imperium never seemed to learn this....
Protecting the humans inside a vehicle is heresy. They are expendable after all.

But cleaning the upholstery every day does start to add up...
Dreamforge's APC is really nice and far better looking than the new GW Taurox imo, that said I don't mind GW's efforts that much either, put the tracks out wide and sink the body of the vehicle closer to ground level and it'd look better, with less 'bling' of course. It just pales in comparison to some other alternatives out there.
That said, I'd definitely take the Dreamforge option but only if it's of a similar size...
I'm looking forward to hearing more!

Vic Minis Arcadians (males have finished... females are still coming ; p) Great selection of not-IG weapons coming too). Resin, so relatively pricy - probably similar price per model to GW troops.
Vics troops are a little harder to sell as stormtroopers, though if you add shoulder pads like the old Cadians they could easily pass as stormtroopers imo, with the added benefit of being mixed male/female troops. I still think Eisenkern are without a doubt the best IG stormtrooper option, especially if you pick up an accessory kit to add to the customization. The GW ones do look good - but the (likely) price just doesn't warrant it compared to the alternatives sadly. I'd gladly buy 50 if they weren't marked up so high.
I've used some of Vic's minis as Grenadiers. Combine the groin plate with the flak torso, and it goes a long way towards making them look armoured.

If I remember correctly from the kickstarter, the APC will be slightly longer but slightly narrower than the land raider. It's not out yet, but looking quarter 2 of this year at present. Plus it's wheels will move and I think they are working on a vulcanized tire option that will be part of the kit.

It might be the same source the said Baneblades will be a Troops choice in the main AM codex...

I assume he means counts-as.

We understand the counts as requirement for the Arbites. We would like to know what "several entries" mean including the fact that he mentioned Ogryns are allegedly in this mni dex.
I guessed only the command squad, troop squad and the APC were going to be in the mini dex. There might be more of a unit selection so we would like to know if he has a source that knows something more then we do or was he just wish listing.

Could anyone tell me what the pink worm-like model in the top left of that picture is? Sorry for the off-topic but I've never seen that before, and it looks like a sweet model.

On the other hand the "style" of the vehicle opens up pretty much unlimited scratchbuild/kitbash/third party possibilities...
Even more fun: Wikipedia gives the names of a bunch of variant possibilities eminently adaptable to 40K:
* Flying Pig: a normal vehicle with extending riot screens either side and the roof.
* Holy Pig: rooftop hatch surrounded by perspex screen (see Popemobile)
* Kremlin Pig: wire screening for protection against rocket propelled grenades (RPG-7)
* Squirt Pig: fitted with a water cannon beside the driver for riot control.
* Foaming Pig: fitted with a foam generator to kill the blast from bombs.
* Felix Pig: modified for EOD (bomb disposal) duties.
Dreamforge Games. I don't know that the APC is out just yet, though.
See, the Dreamforge APC actually makes sense. It looks like a real military vehicle. GW makes planes that can't fly unless they are propelled by sorcerous powers or invisible anti-grav engines (at which point it might as well be a flying building) etc, and GW makes tanks and APCs that are actually trying to be the least effective military designs that one could possibly conjure up. It just makes no sense. They look like failed experiments from the dawn of the early industrial times. There's nothing grim dark to a toy truck with rivets and skulls on it.
The Aliens APC above is also great. Both that and the Dreamforge model put GW's abomination to shame.

Oh the Pig is definitely the inspiration for GW's latest turd. And if they had given it wheels it would at least be a semi-decent looking model. Instead it ranks up there with the Khorne beer thing.

I hereby dub the taurox the storm-hog. Because it looks like a pig, and it's used by stormtroopers.
If I were to get one, I would be sure to paint along it's hood "oink oink, melon-fether!"
Something like that anyway.

Correct. There were a number of types of psyker in Necromunda, and one had the ability to psychically tame a few of the smaller hive critters - millasaurs (centipede things with paralytic venom), ripper jacks (flying things that latch onto your face and try to gouge your eyes out) and giant rats (self explanatory).
