Hmmm, this sounds eerily familiar... Of course my 'to finish' pile is this high.... but it's mostly stuff that needs painting.
Everything is looking top notch.

SUPPLY DROP!!!!
Here are the goodies I got from Cam's Bag of Coolness!
And yes, some of this stuff will be used immediately for this terrain project. Some of it was in dire need and I am so glad I got it, Thanks a ton Cam!!!! =D
And I also got this today from Walmart
Here I got some 1'x1' cork board tiles which will be my asphalt road. Then replaced my dead soldering iron for a new one and some new solder to pimp out this project. And some terrain paints I had run out of last project.
And lastly my fiber optic cables got here from China that I need for this project and for my Thunderhawk.
I ordered these two weeks after I ordered my rivets and the rivets still havent arrived from china. but they still got 3 weeks, I just hope they get here soon so I can make use of them.
Also about to put in an order for a ton of LEDs as my supply of them is getting low. And after tonite I got the next three nights off so I can finally get some more work done without having to be hyped up on coffee. =D

Good to see some lighting going into your piece Games, always interesting to see electronics being used.
Figures are going together, but not a lot to see there yet, so a couple of texturing shots just to show I am still working on it.....(albeit slowly)....

A very good question. These days, it seems the Chinese have moved past that in many areas. Heaven knows most kickstarters get their stuff made there. I was kidding, BTW, in case it wasn't obvious.
And Kudos to Littletower for sneaking in the word Draisine. We tend to say handcar. The wheels are from a HO scale train too?

I thought handcar wouldn't apply, as it wasn't man-powered! (Guess the name outlived its literal meaning, then ) As for he Chinese rivets, I guess we are talking about those nail-art half-spheres that I CANNOT FIND ANYWERE around here (Sorry about that )? You can not imagine the kind of looks I got when I went into a couple places that I thought might point me in the right direction for getting nail-art supplies (A hairdresser's saloon, and two tattoo places, mind you!), but nope! Either I obviously don't know where to ask, or it is not in fashion hereabouts. Cubs are to young - and boys only - to be of any help, too... And nothing online either... I'll keep punching FLAT styrene, for FLAT rivets. In other news, I primed the goose dodo yesterday: @Red H. Sorry, almost forgot! Yes, HO tracks, and wheels (full bogie, actually). Small for 28mm, so i'm alleging narrow gauge, if that's OK

I think I may come out of retirement for this. Still super busy with my two jobs, crazy out of control 3 year old, overly adventurous 18 month old, and playing den leader for my son's Cub Scout den...but I need some Necromunda terrain, and an excuse to get building again...
A little late coming out of the gates, but 5 or so weeks should be enough time for me to get somewhere.
Count me in.

Ay, ¡Que Macho Cabrio Latino! or however you Argentinos say it. I think those half-spheres are also used for something called vajazzling (NSFW term) But you'd get even stranger looks if you asked about that...or maybe not?

SUPPLY DROP
There ya go. 500 LEDs (100 Red, 100 Green, 100 Yellow, 100 Blue, 100 clear) as well as some heat shrink as I loathe electrical tape, it just seems so.....unprofessional.
Anyways, I can now finish wiring up everything for the Road Terrain piece as well as get started on my Thunderhawk.
WiP pics to come soon!

Heat shrink is the best thing for LEDs anyway. Electrical tape is a PITA in tight places.

Looking forward to seeing those LEDs in action Games
Gore-splat looks great. Will there be any armour scraps so those not in the know will realise it used to be one of the false emperor's finest?
After much consideration on the various methods of suspension, and factoring in the time left I've gone for a failry boring support system for the road to nowhere....
And started affixing the entities in place.....
The plan is to add more support tentacles to enable a variety of display angles - hopefully tonight, along with the last bits of gribble and then priming tomorrow.
I'm thinking washes and inks for colour as I can work quicker with those and I'm far from speedy with my colouring.....

I'm gonna go ahead and officially withdraw from this one guys.

I am also going to withdraw. I got an unexpected commission job repairing and painting a decent sized Lizardmen army. I'm pretty slow at all of the hobby things so I'm going to have to move the terrain piece down a priority level so I can get his stuff done before the end of time.
I'm going to keep working on it though.
And I am definitely going to keep watching the progress here.
Good luck everyone!
