Hey folks,

If you haven't read it yet for some reason and have a Mac or iOS device... Horus Rising is currently FREE on the Apple iBooks store:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/horus-rising/id416072787?mt=11

It is no secret that I consider Black Library's eBook pricing to be outrageous, but this is a good step in the right direction.

The Warhammer App pointed this out for me, if I didn't have that then I would of been completely unaware, now I have something to read on the train!

Same here. That app directed me to the book as well. I wanted to pick up the series, and for the price of free, I'll check it out

Guys, I know what you're thinking: (what does a free e-book matter? when we've got... )

but please don't take the easy way out, we must support BL, otherwise GW will keep screwing the fan base

is it a good one? I see it's written by Dan Abnett

Yeah, it's a cracker of a read, and really quite tragic as you struggle to reconcile the great heights Horus reaches with how far you know he will fall in later books.

Really enjoyable read, the first trilogy of the HH is really good. I enjoy many of the titles of the HH series.

Thanks, mate. "Free" is a price point I'm willing to make.

Well, if you check out Sister Sydney's homebrew/expansion rules, you'll find all kinds of units the Sisters could have, that fit with the theme of the Sisters (as a tabletop army) perfectly well, and are damn-near-perfectly balanced.

I’m updating that fandex now & I’m eager for feedback on new home-brew units for the Sisters: Sororitas Bikers, infiltrators & Novices, tanks, flyers, characters, superheavies, Frateris Militia, and now Confessors and Battle Conclave characters
