Now I'm just imagining a bunch of snotlings sitting inside, furiously vibrating the speaker cone by hand.

Thanks Alaricuk. Hoping to slap some paint on that soon.

More WIP photos for you, gentlemen.

LOER Comp entry, WIP:
I carved out the speaker hole, and filled it in with spackle. Looks more like a speaker cone now. Need add back the center bit (dust cap) before I can start painting.

Nobz squad is coming along:

More terrain:
I had some fun with scrap MDF, foam board, and spackle. Turned out pretty well. Bonus: the materials cost less than $1.00. Still needs some paint and detail work. Maybe a little moss?

Back to work!

Like the terrain, simple but effective and all so little!

Reckon you could add some jerry cans, guns and amo boxes lying around to give that extra bit of detail.

Agreed, a little bit of scatter would help. Working on a couple more for a game this weekend. And my LOER comp entry. And, and, and.

LOER Comp entry, WIP:

Making good progress on this piece. Not quite done yet. I want to add some Ork glyphs to the sides.

Converting a Burna Boy to a guitar player might be fun too. We'll see if the Chronossiah is generous with her gifts of free time today or not.

Cleatus, that is great looking. It gives it the illusion of depth and detail quite well.

Yes, it goes up to 11.

LOER Comp # 20, Entry Complete!

Scale shots:

Phew! That's the most work I've put into a single piece of terrain in a while. And so small! This was deliberate; I wanted to make sure I wasn't too ambitious with this project, so that I could finish within the allotted time. Even so, I had a few rough weeks and couldn't work on this piece. I'm glad the comp was extended by a few extra days.

Thanks for looking, ladies and gentlemen.

Back to work!

Thank you, gentlemen. I really appreciate your support.

The glyphs on top spell out "BIG AMP", if you were curious. At least that's what the Grots told me.

That terrain reminds me of the old Goffic Rock Band models of yesteryear.

Just looked through the whole PLOG and Cleatus this is a great log filled with all sorts of interesting conversions. You can also see your painting improving with each unit you have added. Well done all around.

Cheers,

CB

Spoiler:

I think that's the first time that has happened. Not sure though.

Finishing up one of my Nobs with a Kombi-skorcha... pics will be delivered soon.

Considering opening a separate P&M blog for some other stuff I've been wanting to work on for a while. Ad Mech, non GW minis, etc. Non-Ork stuff basically.

Nob with Kombi-Skorcha, WIP:
OK, he's not done, but...

I'm always a bit nervous about showing WIP shots. But it's been a while since I posted anything and I'm really excited about this piece. I wanted to show something. So you get a profile shot, and a rear shot. (heh) In truth, he's 95% done. I need to do a few touch ups, and give him a proper base. I'm thinking 32mm, and possibly a nice rocky or layered cork base.
