For the hound, I think something should be added to the termy head. As of now it just looks like a hairy termy. As for the cloaks, just keep working at it! You'll get it soon enough

I think that would work alongside merging the chitin w/ the fur a bit. I'm thinking fur along the back of the neck that kinda blends/leads to the chitin if that makes sense

Hi, as last post of the year I'll post something totally new to me: vehicles!
The first one is meant to be a tractor, a recovery and carrying tank, let's say a working vehicle. I'm also making some pallet with various stuff to be put over it.
Second is an armoured car, with a little armour, light weaponry but meant to be fast in bringing order (as enforcers) or gangers where needed.
Both of them now needs some last touches and some dirt (made with sand and glue), then they'll be put on the painting queue.
Please remember those are my first vehicles and my first time with plasticard, so don't be too cruel on your judgment. Especially this time, comments are very welcome.
Happy holidays everybody and next post will be something painted, I swear.

@LeCacty last picture is for you, I put into practice your advice and I think you was right (even if the pic is blurry, sorry for that).

Your vehicles are pretty good for a first attempt!
Some feedback:
The plasticard work on the tractor looks good. I wonder about the placement of the exhaust pipes though. At the moment they are coming out of the wall right behind where I imagine one of the crew to be sitting. That's not impossible, but it does make me wonder where the vehicle's engine is. Perhaps you could extrude the cabin structure slightly into the cargo bay on that side to suggest an engine compartment?
The body of the armoured car is okay, and the chasis is too (classic lego wheels ), but I think the body sits awkwardly on the chasis, it's a bit nose-down at the moment. I also don't think the radiator at the front works. Is the "engine" top hatch from the Leman Russ hull the one with a radiator mesh texture?
Overall though, these are solid builds.

I really like the tractor. Fantastic level of detail, and gives me something to do with all of my spare tracks! I don't like the wheels or the forward tilt on the other vehicle though, sorry.

@Turaxa: about the tractor, I'm conscious the pipes position is a bit strange, but I imagine the engine to be somewhere under the cabin instead than where one of the crew is sitting, so that the pipes are just passing through the cabin. I don't know if it sounds realistic enough but I must say I like it as it is!
The armoured car is another matter..I'm not 100% convinced about it, don't like the radiator (it comes from the ork trukk) wich fortunatly is not glued yet, but don't like a plain front..I'll figure something out! But one thing that I like, to be true it was the first inspiration for that vehicle, is to have it nose-down, I find it gives it a somekind of mean look.

I think the radiator could be helped by being shortened or lowered so it was behind the spikes so all of it would be flat with the front of the truck. One critique i might have about the truck is the back axle, the way its raised doesn't look realistic, you could put a suspension coil/arm coming from that flat part to the wheel or possibly a panel to show wear the axle has been removed from the bolted up, if you were going for a 'jacked' look. alternatively you could drop it to match the front. otherwise really impressive work, esechily with the details work on the tractor.

Hi, a good purpose for the 2017 could be to paint everything I already have built, minis and terrains, before making more. Hard to realize..
Took a pause on the vehicles, since your comments convinced me to work some more on the armoured car, so in the meanwhile I started painting. Here the first finished pieces: "King", the merchant, and his retinue, made of his hound and two bodyguards, one carrying his strongbox.
