Dungeon saga in spaaa'aaace may get me back on kickstarter. Maybe.

Rest looks/sounds solid.

The tunnel runners look excellent. I would have picked some up if they'd stated they'd do them in PVC, but I'm not plunking down money in advance for ??? materials anymore. Maybe I'll get some at retail sometime.

Nice to hear that Dungeon Saga in space is still a thing.

Funny how so many people were adamant at carrying on about how the distracting line down the middle of the thing was absolutely not a join seam when it clearly fething was from the first photos shown...

Has anyone seen the new Tasters sets? They look like a brilliant idea to me. Translating the British price into $ gets you 70 minis for roughly a dollar per mini, which is a great deal, and the variety is a plus for anyone into skirmish, RPGs, or creating their own armies for other games.

Unfortunately, it looks like the USD price on the Mantic site is ...punitive. We didn't make you Brexit, Mantic.

Plague birds look nice (and indeed Metal!!! ) for sure.

They'd make some great Scavengers (a.k.a Carrions) in a KoW Empire of dust army as well.
At least so long as it's not too hard to remove the sci-fi stuff some of them are perched on.

If I have my way there shall be a character Murder Bird based on this.

The galaxy is littered with the single-planet graveyards of civilisations which made the economically sensible decision not to explore space.

The seam is coincident with a ridge. Let it go dude.

Good to see that you can't man up and admit when you're wrong. Because internet, am I right? Still, it's good to see who chooses to double down, I suppose. I guess next time we see some more detailed shots of them, I'll have to point the join seam ridge that goes down the entirety of the ship out yet again since some people aren't capable of seeing what's in front of their eyes in their one-eyed effort to defend whatever Mantic does. You're welcome.

Anyway, onto more important matters - the Plague Birds do look very nice. I hope they're not painfully multi-part. I'd live to see the unbuilt metal components, though - before I consider making a purchase of them - and a scale shot with another model aside them would also be great. A bit hard to see how much is "solidly" sci-fi on them as well. Just the green metal panels?

There is a join there, its not the cause of the white/grey line visible on the studio model, its absence in the windscreen should attest to that, honestly if the BOW video didn't clarify this to you I don't know what will.

Is it possible to order in £ from the Mantic site and have it shipped to a USA address? Because that would be cheaper on pretty much everything.

Yes. I did it with the Empire of Dust.

Cool. That makes the $ prices kind of a joke, though.

Does anyone have any idea what's up with the Mars Attacks giant robot? It's been off their site for awhile (or at least I couldn't find it). Was hoping to pick up a couple.

I think they ran out of Mars Attacks stock in general and were about to order/expecting a new shipment soon, but I'm not sure if I'm remembering that right.

Yeah, those "taster" deals are really tempting - does anyone know how long they last? With the Secret Weapon KS ending and the Dreadball 2 KS having just ended I need some time for my hobby budget to recover

Definitely order in £ if buying from anywhere outside the UK, exchange rates are rock-bottom currently.

$ pricing has to be fixed for their retailers, and can't keep up with variable exchange rates, so it's probably cheaper to import from the UK and pay the £ price even considering increased shipping fees.

The Strider with Burst Laser is available for pre order but currently only in a 3 strider bundle deal. The Burst Laser is a metal upgrade miniature.

Hopefully it will be available separately later as I don't need yet more Vanilla Striders.

I'm from the future. The future of space

Whoa that's a good price for 4 jet bike models. Hard plastic as well.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

The kit is very well done. The price for that bundle is the KS special price in USD on their site. I wonder how much cheaper buying them in pounds would be...

I can actually clarify what happened here, because I sculpted the Enforcer Jet for Mantic.

The original design (which the studio matter printed to use as a preview) didn't have a seam there.
Instead I sculpted extra pieces that would form the central hull and the seams would be located on angled joins, which should have made them hard to spot.

It seems however that the factory modified my sculpt somewhat presumably to reduce the number of components, which has resulted in a seam now running down the centre of the hull.

So when Azazelx said this:

S/he was wrong, because the original preview model definitely did not have a seam there. I know, because I sculpted it.

Can someone tell how big the Enforcer Jetbikes are?

Jetbikes are pretty much halfway between an Eldar jetbike and Vyper. Length wise. Height is the same as the jetbike.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

So you're saying that there was merely a poor design choice to have what appeared to be a seam line down the absolute entirety of the middle of the boxy-looking thing, followed by a poor "studio painting" choice to paint the ridge down the middle of the original kit as though it was a seam line, but now the kit actually has that poor choice of seam line integrated into it. Not that you could hide it anyway, since it's been designed to look that way. Apparently every panel on the mid-line of the entire vehicle, whether part of the hull or something bolted on has the same not-seam-but-now-seam line right down the middle.
