Congratulations on finishing the zoats, they look great all together. Your thanozoat really stands out, the work on the gems, skin, and the cables looks like it took a lot of time.

Very nice work on the Zoats. Love the gauntlet, and the story.

Always fun to see the old stuff emerge from the mists of time.

Lovely zoats, and a cool, imaginative piece of fluff too. Nice one!

Grimlock (another awesome reference!) looks AMA-ZOAT-ING! Really nicely done hybrid of universes. The fluff piece worked really well and gave the whole herd a great backstory.

Then to cap it off with a whole-herd photoshoot, you really know how to get a guy right in the nerd! They all look great together, the different greens help their individuality, in spite of the limited number of poses.

Looking forward to seeing the knight come together !

Wanted to echo the chimes that those models look lovely.

I am insanely jealous of all those Zoat minis you have. I haven't been able to find any online that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg!

I really appreciate the comments, guys. Thank you so much! Zoats are one of my favorite things GW ever did and they remind me of when I first discovered Warhammer. Glad to see them so well received.

Quick pic of things in the works.

Chaplain ready for assembly and highlights, ladies ready for Contrast, Dragons a bit further along and some Knightly parts.

May Tryptophan smile on you all and as always, thanks for looking!

Everything's coming along good, I'm curious what the ladies will look like with contrast. I have only used skin tones for faces and not larger body parts until now.

What chaplain model is that? The armor looks really cool!

Thank you!

That's a lot of Zoats, lol. I have four or five in my collection.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Thank you, gents!

Veteran Sergeant, every collection could do with a few Zoats.

Work continues. Another quick (and iffy) pic. Chaplain assembled and close to being done. Not a bad figure, really. Looking forward to having him on the shelf with the other Imperials.

Thanks for looking!

Nice chaplain, but I’m mostly looking forward to the ladies with the purple metallics. You can’t go wrong with metallic purple! It seems you’ve found another range of minis that work well with contrast, in the fire dragons!

Thanks, gobert!

None of those models have had any Contrast applied in that picture. The Dragons won't, they will be all "regular" techniques. Same with the Chaplain. The two ladies will be Contrast, and sadly, the metallic purple areas will all be gold.

Wow. I have never seen that many Zoats in one place. The paintjobs look great.

Now showing various models from the previously adandoned projects!

Painting total as of 12/31/2024: 107 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain and two walkers and a quad mech and five giants

Nice chaplain. The base guy from BaC is one of my favorite recent sculpts. The hood/green cloak gives him a much different flavor. He’s the 10th company chaplain now, keeping an eye on the faith and purity of the scouts. Sure, he might not have fancy things like infiltrate and or a camo cloak, but he would look right at home moving up with some vanguard marines and beating the heresy out of the foes of mankind.

Crap, now I want to make one.

Really liking the work on the Chaplain, it is amazing what a simple head swap and updated, if slightly Chaotic, Plasma pistol can do. I am really struggling to place the head, which kit is it from?

The cloak, armour and purple plasma glow are really helping to make this a very visually interesting scheme.

Nev, do it! I would love to see one of these guys done up like your Ultras.

LTMW, the head is from the Primaris Chaplain.

I painted mine as a captain, not a chaplain. Although in hindsight, now that I have more captains than there are companies, but only have 4 chaplains, I should have done it the other way. Looking at the primaris Chaplain, he could be pressed into service for the 10th with minimal work. Since I have all the Captains, maybe I need all the Chaplains as well...

I might have a HQ problem.

Sorry, my bad! Looking at the image from the gallery they’re clearly layered

Those Fire Dragons have a lovely glow.

The chaplain also looks cool.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Thank you, thank you!

Nev, there are certainly worse problems to have.

Some quick WiP shots. All sorts of things happening, including work on Brother from the swamper crew for Song of Blades.

Probably should have taken a pic of the Knight now that the head is installed. After the thermal cannon, I guess. As usual, plenty going on outside the picture frames, too. So many minis, never enough time, but each one done is a victory in itself, some, like the Dragons, bigger victories than others. Can't believe they are going to be done.

Thanks for looking!

It all is looking good, but as an old eldar player I am loving the dragons. They all have a nice fiery tone to them.

Very much agreed--even as is they're looking pretty hot.

Also very interested in that gator, its a really striking scheme, without using crazy colors. (Deleted because I realized the gator was the "brother" being refered to, still a nice model)
