I like how the red markings on their blue tabards look, it really helps distinguish them as a unique band of soldiers. The slightly muted tone of the blue, meanwhile, helps that their heraldry doesn't take away from the magnificence of their armaments. Truly these are valiant warriors,, standing disciplined and ready to bring retribution upon the barbarous hordes that assail the fair lands of their king!

Looks solid mate and reminds me I got wraiths I need to get painted.
Trying to find a proxy model for the old wood elf warhawks too.
Edit: on second thoughts, would anyone mind if I used the old dogs of war models birdmen of catrazza as warhawk riders?
Similar size and weapons lol.

Assembled a bunch of Greatswords, still missing parts to make all 16 I can make, so painting will wait (a while, I can't find the legs/torsos/hand weapons I need), I intend to paint them either in Carroburg Greatswords style, or going with the Ostland Blackguard scheme, either way, they're ending up with black armor.
And the only two Fantasy models I have that are painted xd, one is made out of parts I bought at the gaming store I used to go, the other was a gift, the picture is also extremely blurry, sorry.

I'm working on a 1,500 point Ironjawz army for an upcoming tournament. I still have a TON of priming and painting to do, but I'm pretty happy with the way the army is looking. I'm not a huge fan of the Orruk Megaboss or his $40 price tag, so I'm working on a conversion using the Disney Infinity Green Goblin as a base. I added a ton of Orruk themed bits. I think it'll tie in pretty well when I get some painting done. He's big, but I think that's ok. The army could use a chunky model. The barrel he's holding is his Battle-Brew artefact.

Its actually my counts-as hellcannon/warp lightning cannon. You can see the warpstone in the center part.
Its made from the chaos chariot from the Slave to darkness box and the cauldron of blood.
Also the mounted lord is painted:

Get rid of the ball and chain, his hand and head are perfectly lines up for replacing the weapon with a hand mirror, or mobile phone (taking a selfie).

I must admit, they do line up rather nicely, but this guy's more a follower of the "excessive pain"-creed than the "extreme narcissism" that Slaanesh is more known for Also, it'd be a bit silly for him to carry a hand mirror on a chain, wouldn't it?
Unless he intends to throw it to his enemies, screaming something along the lines of: "HOLD THIS, SO I CAN WATCH MYSELF KILL YOU"

I've always wanted to remove the weapons from that model and put an electric guitar in his hands. Dude's pose is just perfect for it!

Have you considered giving him a whip instead? It seems like a more Slaanesh-y weapon than a big ball of metal on the end of a chain.
Something like this, maybe?
Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure it'll be awesome. The model looks really nice already.

Melcavuk,
I like the theme you are going for. My only concern is that there appears to be a whole lot of yellow on the bow and not enough orange. Love it, otherwise!

More Chaos! Chaos is All-Consuming!!
MOAR CHAOS!
The Slaughterpriest was my weekend project, the images rally don't do the mini justice. Just the highlights on the chest (My first attempt at painting that skin colour, and my first human mini with that much skin) took a few hours, and the brass was time consuming as well. The bell was more straight-forward, there are only really seven (YAY Nurgle!) colors on it, the wood, the bronze and silver, the blue (verdigris), the orange (rust) and the green of the warpstone and smoke. Its size was hard, and painting all that rope was one of the most annoying things i have encountered in my years of painting. But still, they turned out great, and I've been able to field them once already. Enjoy!
Ember
