I got the same model as a possible model for a Tanith Commissioner. I got it a little while ago now but I'm not 100% sure its 28mm heroic scale.

Great Work on the Cloak TP^DC Deputy Manager, it is very hard to get those folds looking as good as you have.

Wow! Thank Midget, that means the world coming from you with all your modding and GS experience. Very grateful for the feedback. Using a wire frame to support while it was curing helped loads.

Best of luck painting with the baby, I found it hard at first, but slowly getting there.

A bit of progress...

For various personal reasons, I won't be able to work on my original idea of a Daemonette powered Doomwheel this month.
I'm fine, but the friend who was going to help find me a base is not, so I'm going to wait for better days.

Para do you mind if I move my primed Fulgrim over from the other contest? He wasn't started prior to January, and as above, my mind isn't on modelling.

Had my first ever venture into decals, micro sol and airbrushing fabrics, so whilst it's minor, this has been another month of "new things".

Actually, on second thoughts; would a Tau Stealth Suit team qualify? I don't know where the base for Zhufor has gone, and I don't think I can stomach making a replacement at the moment.

It's a FW EC golden sheet. It's mostly giant pieces that are not useful unless you own dreads and Knights.

A touch late, but here's my proof, a Warhammer Valkia the Bloody model

I'm struggling with varnish on it, as you can see. Gloss is too much, and you can't see the gradients, but the previous pic was Purity Seal and I think it looks awful and kills the decal.

I honestly dunno what to do, and I hate slapping on layer after layer of anything.

I'd get some simple artist's matte varnish. will mute the sheen and bring back out the gradients

I use watered down pva glue as a matte, works out pretty well.

I have some Vallejo matt brush on, I'll give it a go.

Unfortunately PVA sort of sweats in my house, must be climate. :(

If you click on it and go through his gallery, you can see what he can do with them. Kinda hoping my bugs will stack up, but that jungle theme is pretty sick
