Wait a minute, aether-gold, a gaseous wonder chemical, a mercantile society and no obvious women....

These guys are the Ferengi!

By the 37 keys of Tzeentch,We open the way for our brothers,
By the 1000 whispers of Slaanesh we call to them,
By the 12 plagues of Nurgle we fell their enemies,
And by the mighty axe of Khorne we cut open the world for them!

I knew they wouldn't be land based people. Likely they have kingdoms in the sky. Pure speculation of course, but some cool flying mountain fortresses would be amazing. Very Columbia from Bioshock Infinite.

Occam's Razor doesn't leap. They drew key art to advertise a new game. That artwork has Sigmarines and Bloodborn (is it Bloodbound? Ok, fine, Bloodbound), therefore the only logical conclusion is that this new game includes stuff from the old game.

There's no leaping happening here.

If there was any indication that the sole artwork.

But there is no such indication. It's a single poster. Or perhaps because the Adeptus Titanicus poster shown off and snapped by yours truly at Warhammerfest last year only depicted a Warlord Class Titan with Two Volcano Cannon and a pair of Turbolaser Batteries, that means the game will also only feature Warlord Class Titans with Two Volcano Cannon and a pair of Turbolaser Batteries? Or that the cover for Codex Craftworlds only featuring a Warlock, Guardians, Vypers and Hemlock mean they're the sole contents of the Eldar army now?

The problem is that we had a very similar debate recently about the Hammerhal box art which turned out to be a complete representation of the contents. The art shown fits too well with the logo to not be the box art. (As in lots of empty space at the top of the image in which to place the logo. Of course I hope the new box has more than the 5 minis shown in the art but even if there are 2 blood reavers and 2 liberators in a box of 50, it will be 4 old and familiar minis that could have been something new and exciting. I also don't think this art is especially exciting. It doesn't evoke any sense of interest.
I am still looking forward to seeing what they show next week but this art has definitely dampened my enthusiasm a bit.

yeo the similarity is striking, And guess who was right in this argument,

Btw the runes are from the old WHFB book, not from the new AOS battletome.

Clearly you ain't been reading my posts. I've always said I will give credit where credit is due.

Just these past days I've said how much I liked the Steampunk Dwarfs, and how the terrain for the Armageddon thing looks really cool. Is it so hard to believe that someone can both like and dislike aspects of the same product, or a series of products?

How dare you criticize something that GW has deigned to give us. You should only sing the praise of all these great release.

If you compare side by side they share the same theme but the struts, hoses and balloons are all slightly different on each. The only common part I can see are the propellers on the 2 smaller ones and the bombs on the small and large ones.

Based on this i strongly doubt there is a shared sprue. What there almost certainly will be, and this applies across most ranges these days, is a shared computer pattern for certain 'theme' parts. So in this case they will have cut-n-paste the ladder footholds, bombs, guns for the troops, etc. across different models and therefore sprues. Its another major advantage of CAD model making.

Very different? Stormcast dating sim is go!

Really? I thought the Duardin/Khorne yaoi RPG followup to the Aelf/Slaanesh yuri RPG was a bit out there, but OK.

Aelf/Slaanesh yuri? What non-sense are you talking about? It's clear that they'd make a hatoful kareshi version in RPG using the return of slaanesh. Why they may even add a supplement that allows to do the horse-version.

In all seriousness. I loled hard at the duardin/khorne, it made me think of the Ralf Königs's Lysistrata's movie.

It says something about me when I can understand each and every one of those references.

Do we have any idea when this stuff all drops? How much time do I have to start hoarding pennies and kicking out unloved models?

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Probably starts April 1st, as its a saturday(preorder), and the initial preview said thats when they are coming. Then expect weekly releases of this stuff to fill out the rest of April.

Could be wrong though.

But don't you see? People need to fight out, it's the natural order of things. Stop fighting against the natural order of things so we can have a pseudo-civil-war-lite/passive-aggressive carnaval instead of behaving like civilized people and enjoying, yet doing addient criticisms to the showcase in question.

Nah. Your metal beard would have to be bigger than Epic Scale. On a 28mm Knight, it'd look more like Hitler's silly little toothbrush 'tache.

That's a shaved Dwarf. She'll be a lot more imposing when she manages to grow it back out. But right now, she's quite the terror as she tries to compensate for the undying shame of having her formerly luscious, knee-length beard shaved clean.

That's why she was so angry in that campaign. Crazy beard shaving husbands. ( I'm aware Warhammer Dwarfs did not but who's to say what has happened in the thousands of years between that and AoS

I'm a pretty big fan of the skydwarves. IF I could afford a new army right now I'd seriously consider them.

Don't worry, one day we will get a start collecting for that bunch of gingers.

Jokes aside, I think the K.O. are a solid concept. They don't seem to pidgeonholed for new releases, as long as they are techy enough, so they won't strangle the dev-team creativity. So "maybe" they'll get more support.
