Edit: thank you our lord and savior veterannoob!
Does GW expect me to field 20 man Berzerker blobs or something? These World Eater rules are kind of bizarre. They discourage putting your units in Rhinos but don't really help them slog up the field beyond turn one. I JUST WANT TO USE BERZERKERS, WHY ARE YOU MAKING THIS SO DIFFICULT?!

Got a question for you VeteranNoob:
3 - Iron Warriors
must: no unique, no marks take VotLW, Psykers from gods (see above)
gain: Blood feud: VotLW re-roll failed to hit every combat round vs. Imp Fists, but IF get Hatred YOU; iron w/in, iron w/out: VotLW gain 6+ FnP, Patrons of technovirus: Obliterators and Mutilators are troops; siege masters: units re-roll armor pen vs buildings it didn’t glance or pen. +1 damage big roll result; IW havens, obits, mutilators get tank hunter
WT: FnP 4+; Fearless; give your terrain piece +1 cover; Friendly Oblits w/in 12” can fire twice in consecutive shooting phases; WL + unit have split fire & counterattack while in cover; friendly vehicles get It WND w/in 6” WL
relics: warp smith can possess a vehicle; warp smith extraA for challenge; axe of forge master; armor 2+ + gains IWND; at enemy shooting phase enemy vehicles w/in 2D6’ of bearer suffer automatic haywire hit, no cover allowed; siege breaker mace S+2 Ap 4, concussive, masterccraft, siege breaker - signal S10, AP 1 attack melee
army: master annihilation: barrage and word weapons can choose to re-roll scatter die; intractable brotherhood: all non-veh are stubborn; on or in fortification gain fearless instead
cor: chasse warband
command: Lords of legion
aux: Stronghold (1-3 fortifications + others
tact obj: VP if kill unit even partially w/in 18” your table edge; VP if kill unit that was controlling an obj; VP if your oblits/mutil destroyed a unit; roll die and get that obj; Vp if enemy forts/buildings lost HP (more if more);destroy enemy vehicle
(more is more)
So it says that for the general army formation, all Iron Warriors barrages can reroll to hit. Only problem here is, there are no barrage weapons in Codex: Chaos Space Marines... Is that really the rule?

Shame to see a big Chaos release go by with ancient Havoc, Oblit, Noise Marine, Berzerker and Plague Marine models still in play, and no Plague/Noise/Berzerker Terminators entering the fray.
The Death Guard rules create Plague Terminators - Fearless and FNP, but -1 I on units with VotLW. That's basically what a Plague Marine is over a normal CSM with MoN.
Plus it makes FW's Terminator Kits feel that much better.

Serious, major props VeteranNoob for this.
I have to say I'm pretty happy with what I'm seeing. Black Legion gain Hatred (Everyone) and rerolls in CC against all Imperium Armies (essentially for free as there doesn't appear to be any restrictions on cult troops/marks).
The pseudo-Deathwing of the Black Legion Speartip is very cool, even if it's just an excuse to mishap but it's nice to have. Terminators as troops for all Black Legion detachments is also very nice. Probably cripplingly expensive but hell what isn't?
It does seem that Berserkers espcially and Plague Marines to an extent are going to be side-lined for Terminators, Bikes with the detachment rules. (I mean a MoN Bike squad is now T6, FnP 5+ with Jink...) but still it'll be cool to see mono-mark lists again.
EDIT: Chist, Chaos Bikers in a Death Guard army (Command, Core Aux etc) would be T6, FnP5+ reroll 1s, Jink with Stealth from shooting outside of 18". I don't know how feasible it is to build around Chaos Bikers given the Warband etc but god damn that's cool.

Nurgle Bikes now get FnP. The End Times are upon us, Plague Marine Bikers are a thing. The local Death Guard Player is going to be ecstatic, and the local IW guy is going to have to kitbash more Obliterators. The Black Legion guy will probably be a bit miffed since his supplement only got reprinted early this year, and this book is just flat out better for him. Word Bearers stuff is disappointing. I always knew it would be but I didn't think it'd be like this... Look like my Word Bearers will be sticking to the Horus Heresy where they're actually cool.

Reading through all the rules, I think Emperor's Children win.
For ECs, the Kakophani is a huge bundle of firepower and might now be the best ranged unit in the game. Overwatch alone would be hell against these guys.
Then there's also CSMs / Chosen with IoE they get 4+ FnP and +1 I. They become usable again in regular games of 40k.

Am getting a little overwhelmed with all the rules.
Will 2 CSM armies be able to ally? Let's say I wanted to take Black Legion as the main force, and Emperor's Children as allies.
Legal? Does each army keep it's own special rules?

You might want to reconsider that. 2d6 movement for free with every footslogging unit. So potentially 12 inch.
Now add the maelstrom bonus and the tzeentch grimoire.
A blob of berzerkers/terminators hell even mutilators! could potentially move 24 inch...just...move. Oh and then there's the 3 inch extra move relic, so actually, make that 27 inch. So you just WALKED into the opponents deployment zone. THEN you add a potential 15 inch charge to that for berzerkers. You can literally charge a unit on the other side of the board on turn 1 XD.
AAAAAAAND if you get the right warlord trait you can even assault in your opponents turn! So you take that blob good sir and get all up in their face. The jump relic is only gravy though, even without you still have a charge threat range of 13-33 inch for normal units and 16-36 for the relic unit. Apllying the TSons relic to that means the relic unit gets a minimum charge distance of 22 inch!, for maelstrom zerkers that is.
World eaters are awesome XD The WT are all good. I just wish the boon thing was a relic or so. Just F the boon table and rack up the attacks. And another reason to go tzeetnch... every time a tzeentch sorcerer casts boon of mutation on that warlord he gets angrier and gains an attack XD Imagine in a Black Crusade detachment with two rolls...soooo many attacks. Sadly it's not even remotely viable lol, but it sure is hilarious.
On a more serious note, the enemy phase charge would be cool with the maelstrom bonus. Charge turn one with your blob, wipe them and charge in their turn, then in your movement phase wipe that unit without them being able to do diddly squat about it and then charge yet another unit still on your turn and praise the blood god.
And omg dat old school khorne daemon axe with + 2d6 attacks. Unless it's a flat 2d6, in which case meh.
World eater don't need no stinking daemons and blood tithes, they just get right up there and start to murderize stuff!*
*I might have a bad case of blood-tinted glasses atm. Oh and did I forgot to mention....they can still take a dimensional key?

Well if it's the same rules as Wrath of Magnus/Thousand Sons detachment then any CSM detachment can add the Legion detachment rules provided they meet the restrictions. They specifically call out CAD as an example in WoM so presumably Allied Detachments apply as well.
So yes I think so, we'd have to see the exact rules of course.

I know DAs, BAs and SWs have there own stuff because they don't share a Codex like the others do.

Best part about the combat drugs none of the results are negative even the worst result is always better to have than not to have, praise GW for making Chaos feel awesome again.
I can't for the time when the stars align and I get some T6, FNP 3+ bikers by combining combat drugs + the warlord traits.

I have 1 question for the gentleman with the book, do you still have to pay for veterans of the long war, or do all the legions get it for free like the thousand sons ?

And thats the problem, it made Zerkers just redundant, wich it should'nt have, but it did.
Basically what WE get is free Icones benefits and Zerkers Lite.
And don't tell me that this "scout" move is good, its not, its RANDOM, if it was 6"+ D6 it might be nice , not "good" just nice, to reach good we should have run+Assault or +1Init and CCW optiosn instead of just flamers/meltas/plasma for CSM and 2 Plasma pistols for Zerkers...

Well he did officially sever ties and left the legion to be on his own, so he's not really part of the legion anymore. He'd probably be part of his own formation if he had one as some sort of Chaos for hire sort of thing.
