Yea, it could go either way. Most of their trademark unit formations are in command and possessed are a trademark of black legion as well., but there is a daemon prince required. Realistically I think it would be a command formation but that would make for a neat core.

Hey VeteranNoob, was still wondering if any of the Relics have clauses like "Warpsmith-Only", "Cannot be taken by a Daemon Prince", etc. I'd like to know if I can give Combat Drugs to a Slaaneshi-Prince as a giant chem-lab experiment for example, or so.
Also, if the Word Bearers WL trait for an extra Psychic Mastery level can be used on a vehicle character, for that Psychic Dreadnought Chaos has been wanting for awhile. :>
IW relics Warpbreacher and Nest of Mechaserpents are warpsmith only. A DP can be in the primary detachment for EC so shoot that bad boy up! That will make for some fun lists

- Havocs
SPECIAL RULES:

free
- Any character or Aspiring Champion may take a doom siren
for +10 points

No. That was an Apocalypse Formation from the GW website back in 2007, that wasn't even updated when Apocalypse 2 was released. It was never in 40K legal.

Okay, more questions, @veterannoob. Thanks for clarifying that th 35 point WB weapon is AP3.
1. What is the WB relic Baleful Iron? Is it a weapon, or just a talisman?
2. Is being Troops the only bonus given automatically to Word Bearers Possessed?
3. Can you give a more detailed description of the WB Warlord Traits? What happens if a Word Bearer Warlord with Mark of Khorne or Daemon of Khorne becomes a Psyker?
4. Can you clarify what the Iron Warriors get to roll scatter dice for in their detachment? Is it just barrage weapons(which CSM don't have right now iirc), or barrage weapons and something else?

- The Cyclopia Cabal is a "neutral" formation that any legion (and of course standar CAD) can take? is kinda important
- Guess sure will stay as befoe....but still marked sorcerors must take at least one power of their god or are like demons?
- The WB sorcerors can cast daemonology as demons....or estill suffers perisl with any double?

Already answered. No. These Formations are restricted to Black Legion only.
- The Bringers of Despair
- The Chosen of Abaddon
- The Hounds of Abaddon
- Daemon Engine Pack
- Cyclopia Cabal
- The Tormented
- Black Legion Warband

Awesome, when you posted the abridged relics, I was like why would anyone ever pay 30pts for a power sword with that leadership test instant death so not worth it, but if it is a daemon weapon it is much better.

Can someone tell me if this is right?
If i want to take a CAD as Night Lords while retaining both sets of army rules, I could take:
Core: Raptor Talon (or Chaos Warband) + Aux: 1 Spawn
Then take a CAD with Lord, 2 (Raptor) troops + whatever else I want. The whole army would get VotLW Fear, Stealth, Night Vision, Rerolls on charge and guaranteed night fighting?
If anyone could confirm so I can buy the right stuff, that'd be great. I've been playing chaos for 15 years and still dont have a chaos spawn model

Only the stuff in the Decurion would get the reroll charge.
I think you would still get guaranteed night fighting, but only the stuff in the decurion would get the +1 cover save on top of the baseline NL stealth from night fighting, since stealth would not stack with stealth.

If that is the case I dont see any problem even if you need pat the veterans rule on the sorcerers. Also since them are no obey to take marks, can fit on any legion.
Also a bit worried about Word Bearers. By the moment they look the main losers between the legions. The possesed are crap. No very interesting rules on the army. Ad the sorcerers generating daemonology at 3+ could be cool....only if counts as demons to avoid perils.

I was thinking about this also - as far as I'm aware you get everything apart from the daemon detachment and formations... though some confirmation on this would be appreciated.
Edit: judging by the contents page, it looks like this is indeed the case.

the best thing of the traitors supplement is that you will no need any other book beside the codex since all the traitor's hate and tsons stuff are here, That is cool
About http://pro.bols.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/traitor-TOC.jpg ..... REALLY worried that there are not the spanw aux option as well the veterans of the legions. If the option of place a spanw units as an aux.........that is a kick on our balls since is the best aux and the more acceisble since the other are to much expensive to allow you be fexible making your army.
Anyone knows something about this?

- Yes, any legion can take the Cyclopia Cabal as a separate formation outside of your Detachment in a Battle Forged army.
- But only Black Legion can take it within their detachment and have it benefit from the detachments bonus rules.

Also if you love shot armies, the EC are your friend, with tonds of blastmasters. Some really cheap since can change free a autocanon by a blastmaster.... 5 havocs with 4 blastmaster sounds (ha! xD) really nasty.
Think will find a use to my unit of sisters of silence I converted into noise marines xD
- Yes Traitor Legions has all the rules from Traitor Hate and Wrath of Magnus, minus the background material.
- If your referring to the EC formation mention above; that's an old obsolete apocalypse formation.
- It's not one from Traitor Legions, only Noise Marines currently have access to sonic weapons and only way to take a Sonic Dreadnought is in a CAD using the rules in Imperial Armor 13.
- Spawn are in the book as an AUX choice you don't see them listed because they're a unit option not a formation, so there is no data slate to reference in the index.
