Deathwatch Land Raider.

95$ vs 86$. If you don't need dw bits doesn't exactly look like price decrease. More like price hike.

It's a normal land raider, the crusader upgrade sprue and the DW upgrade sprue. Those together are significantly cheaper with that kit.

Also includes the parts to make the LRC/LRR. So for a minor upcharge, you get both the DW sprue and the extra guns/sponsons.

Sorta like getting the razorback kit instead of the rhino box. Few bucks more, lots more options.

Except for the fact the DW Land Raider contains the sprues for a normal Land Raider AND a Crusader.

£45 normal Land Raider.
£45 Crusader.
£48 DW Land Raider.

Crusader LR Sprues - £12.50

Average cost of an upgrade sprue (based of Ultras, BA, DA, SW) - £8

Going by that, if you wanted to have a Land Raider that had both Crusader AND normal weapon options plus an upgrade sprue you'd be paying £65.50.

Suddenly £48 seems really fething good.

Doesn't give me any extra models to use though. If I want crusader I get the crusader box.

Don't have particular use for the extra guns. Not good enough scratch builder to build extra hull.

Deathwatch land raider is still just one model you are pushing around. Usually I know which land raider I want when I buy the model.

Or resin.

It had appeared that GW were done with 'Fine'cast, but the release of the Canoness in resin suggests that maybe they're going to give it another go, for some inexplicable reason.

Makes a certain amount of sense... Given the reluctance GW have always had over actually spending any money on the Sisters range, I can easily see them choosing to keep the existing range and just upgrade to resin rather than going for the expense of making plastic models.

Except why? If it's the same sculpts then you just pay for the development of resin molds for a product you already have in a medium that most people have a very low opinion of. If they're new sculpts, then you're deliberately spitting in the eye of the customer. 'You are the only army to be GW resin in years because we want EVERYONE to know we at GW see you as second class citizens.'

We're either going to see nothing, 1-2 reboxes for the exact price of the old metals, or we're getting new plastics. Nothing else would really make any sense.

These new plastics can't come fast enough, if only to stop the inane repeating conversation about if the already announced things are coming (!)

Leaving whether or not repackaging is logical in any way. Models with 'last chance to buy' will be gone, not repackaged, so this means these models would need to be replaced in some way or another.

Exactly.

The thing that people need to note is that the resin Cannoness is more than 50% more expensive than the current metal one. Obviously, the metal Sisters are grossly underpriced at $8/model, and should be something more like $13/model...

In that context, the upgrade from expensive metal to 5 "Finecast" resin models for $50 is a tremendous savings to the Customer.

In that context it's an infinite saving for the customer...because they aren't going to buy models they already own and don't sell to anyone else anymore. Recasting the present minis in resin is just GW throwing away money.

And I mean who was really begging for Genestealer cult minis? That was a really brilliant move right? Making a fakey army that only long beards remember. If they did GSC minis in plastic then there's no excuse for doing Sisters--even if they have to make a crappy board game with them first as is their MO theses days.

This 136-page full-colour Codex presents background and rules for a number of smaller Imperial factions, whose forces fight alongside other armies of the Emperor. Use the rules, datasheets, wargear and detachments included to add members of the following operatives to any army of the Imperium:

- A full army list for the Battle Sisters of the Adepta Sororitas
- Tech-Priest Enginseers and Servitors of the Adeptus Mechanicus
- Valkyries of the Aeronautica Imperialis
- Battle Psykers and Astropaths of the Astra Telepathica
- Priests of the Adeptus Ministorum
- Kill Teams and Corvus Blackstars of the Deathwatch
- Terminator Squads and Nemesis Dreadknights of the Grey Knights
- The Legion of the Damned
- Assassins of the Officio Assassinorum
- Inquisitors of the Inquisition

You mean that terrible fakey army nobody wanted that sold out pretty much everywhere upon release?

It's really sad to see people attacking other minor, interesting and unique subfactions instead of GWs continued obsession with pushing 95% power armor armies.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

The immolator is back

This is a weird description. The immolator doesn't have resin parts:

"The Immolator battle tank is a design exclusive to the Adeptus Ministorum, based on the ubiquitous Rhino chassis. Immolators carry deadly but short-ranged twin heavy flamers, heavy bolters or multi-meltas that can cleanse the battlefield of all but the toughest of foes. Immolators are tactically versatile vehicles and the tank of choice for many Adepta Sororitas commanders, for in addition to their prodigious armaments, their armoured hulls can carry squads of Battle sisters, deploying them onto vital objectives and then supporting them with heavy weapons fire.

This multi-part plastic and resin kit contains the components necessary to assemble an Immolator, armed with a twin-linked heavy flamer, heavy bolter or multi-melta.

Anyone else notice the fact that the retributor pack is multimedia... Which is their on weapon no one takes and the dominions have two flamers... Either the rules are going to have to change or the people in charge of marketing don't understand how these units work

I think they may have just misidentified that model, since it is clearly the old BS Vet with Bolter.

It's slightly better than the old squad loadouts. So many SB/Flamer BSS squads.
