That is just lame. I don't understand why people want Emperor to be this utterly invincible superbeing. It is much cooler if he is actually vulnerable and is in real mortal peril when fighting Horus or that überork.

For consistency reasons I guess. If he can make a whole Legion kneel to him with a thought, why would a sole Ork present a problem?

There is no point in trying to find consistency in BL books. They don't know the difference between a primarch and a chapter master. Emperor is just as strong as the writer needs at the moment. In any case, for a game it is obviously better to go with low end estimate of Emperor's power to make the game to work.

He is a superbeing who never wanted to be worshipped as a god but ended up in that position anyway. That counts, right?

what a beautiful bunch of previews!!!
you guys really made my weekend with all of these reports

so good to see my Space Puppies finally getting some HH love these last few months...
i was never a big fan of the T. Sons, but they are really looking good as a foil to the Wolves, visually...

now i just need to know how long we have to wait for those two awesome Moritats!!!
those feeds to the guns add a ton of dynamism to a very static model...
man, FW makes the best Marines...
aside from the horrible prep-work that they require, i have always enjoyed painting them so much more than the stock plastics...
these guys look like they will be a nightmare to prep, too, but a ton of fun to paint...

cheers

Paint like ya got a pair!

If someone there has a chance, please find out the answers to these questions:
What is the Misericordia rule we see on the Custodes?
The Custodes jetbikes have a rule allowing them to shoot with each of their weapons, but they only have one gun each (unless you count tossing a grenade), not even the bolt pistol that legion jetbikes get to carry.
Why doesn't the Custodes transport have the Assault Vehicle rule. Such a low model count army, that will largely depend on assaults to win, simply can't afford to jump out of a transport and stand around just holding their for a turn before charging.

It looks like the Jetbikes have a weapon built onto the bike and probably a Guardian spear or sword carried by the Custodian himself.

We've seen the pic of the rule page for them, all they've got is the bike's gun. Their spear is specifically listed as a power lance.

Don't remember, but it doesn't really matter as the new ones will be on a larger scale.

I, for one, am looking forward to the Emperors rules. Its always good to see how a BL character is transformed to the tabletop. He'll probably be made MUCH weaker, but am I excited to see how hr fair against a Warlord

Dark Mechanicum may also experiment with xenos tech and Dark Age tech. Not a switch flipped overnight, but a gradual evolution / devolution.

Prosecution of Sarum: at the bottom of Sarum there's always been something wrong...
With Sarum they could be returning to something that had been restricted...
Change is a big element of the book - tiring in the dark Mechanicum, BA and DA

That's cool, Angelus is looking like it'll be a return to the 2nd edition codex Angels of Death.

I wonder if FW has identified the chinese guy that is at all their weekenders grabbing 1 of every new sculpt :p

They might have a hydraulic lever pushing out from their back like those self-righting robots from robot-wars.

They've got Russ and Magnus done for Inferno. The Angels are probably next (I know Simon really wanted to do Sanguinius so he'll me after Magnus most likely). Dorn and Alpharius will come when the story moves back round to include them.

Got to say though, this was a pretty great HH weekender for a lot of folks and even I am considering a Talons Allied detachment now. That SoS transport is legit!

All of the stuff looks sharp. I like the design of the Sisters transport - very unique and very cool.

Resin Adeptus Titanicus is 100% dead on arrival for me - and sadly my entire gaming group (all 35-60 years old and fondly remember original Epic etc.). No one has interest in that material, particularly at the price point - shame as we'd all have jumped on a quality plastic starter box, etc.

As with most FW stuff this thread serves as nice inspiration at least.
