A user on faeit just got his white dwarf and has posted a quote from RG from the white dwarf it's pretty small but I think it shows his outlook on the current imperium as it is now.

Spoiler:

Just got my White Dwarf!

There is a nice Guilliman quote in there...

"Thousands of years. And look at what has become of them. Of us. Idolatry. Ignorance. Suffering and squalor, in the name of a god who never desired the title."

Citation needed.

They are published by Black Library and written by GW employeed authors.

That puts the book at $50 USD and the Triumvirate at $90 USD...
Death watch and GSC get separate from box upgrade sprue for 10
$13 each, going off the price brackets.

Which is kinda interesting as it puts it fifty cents cheaper than the currently sold ones.

If they stop making those kits, I’m glad I picked up my DW land raider last week. For $5 more you got all the options for basic/LRR/LRC plus the DW sprue. Well worth it.

From what I understand, the DW vehicle kits were intended to be a limited stock item for a few months. Purportedly it was to test the price points and see if people liked it.

I have a sneaking suspicion that we'll see the standard LR/LRC and Rhino/Razorback kits pulled and reboxed soon. They still use the old "Picture of the model in front of a generic photoshopped background".

I am not saying they will discontinue them, but I could see it happening for sure. I have half a mind to pick up a DW Land Raider as well. The additional sprues give you the ability magnetize it with all options. If you don't want to do that, you at least get a free turret for a Razorback (you can probably cut the lascannons apart to make the Lascannon turret if you aren't already swimming in them like me). I am actually thinking of making a basic Land Raider with the kit and using the TLAsC for a Razorback.

I am glad to see that Guilliman hates what the Imperium became. The implications of this are pretty dire. I could see him restarting Imperium Secondus so he can try to salvage what is left of the Imperium.

Not easy... the creator does explain in the article that he did some extensive remodelling despite the simple appearance.

Yes, but at least he does not appear to be a ststic-pose miniature. Definitely agree on the default pose being better.

Seems it's linked to Ynnead and Cawl.

We've seen from Part II that Ynnead has serious power over life and death - including returning Thousand Son Rubricae back to full life.

I'd imagine that Ynnead is able to stave off his death, Cawl bungs him in a life support suit, and in time Guilliman is able to heal his otherwise mortal wound.

This is speculation. Not rumour.

It's scratchbuilt for the diorama. I'd imagine Stormcast wings and a pile of putty.

He is static pose. The creator of the diorama chopped him up and modified his pose and stance, as I posted above.

its sculpted for the piece by Seb Perbet according to the article accompanying the piece.

I still don’t get why the HH marines are more expensive then the 40k ones. OK, that’s a lie, I understand that GW knows they can charge more, so does so. Still irritating.

The terminator kits at least offer a lot more options then their 40k equivalent. Power armor less so.

From the White Dwarf: "You've got an ancient Tech-Priest who must get to Macragge to talk with the Lord of Ultramar, a living saint on a holy quest and a pair of mysterious Eldar characters, one of which has the power to resurrect the dead. You can probably see where this is going!"

I'm going to have to get Guilliman's model, even if just to rip it apart to use for a Daemon Prince.

EDIT: I like that, although he punched a Chaos Terminator through a wall, he didn't pulp him into nothing.

I think, honestly, what you're seeing here is GW trying their best not to make Forgeworld kits useless/unattractive. I'm 100% convinced that's why the plastic Contemptor is a terribly boring/ugly/gakky kit. I think they knew it'd be out of a boxed game, etc. and didn't want to risk stealing any of Forgeworld's thunder. There's no reason a plastic Contemptor could have not come with the sprue size and options of a normal dreadnought, etc. I think they are being very careful to keep the plastic HH stuff either blase/basic/expensive to keep the HH moneys going to the more expensive range of FW models.

Spoiler:
Just read the WD parts on 4chan and as expected Celestine gets boned...

From what the WD says she gives her Rosarius to Ghouliman and both her Geminae die.

I fully expect her to die in this book, it's the only way GW knows how to deal with the sisters...

So what is the point in giving her the Geminae in the first place if they are just to die in the story?

I expect her to get boned even if she had the power to resurrect them before and Yvraine has the power to do so as well but since she is a sister she has to get bent over and butt blasted by the authors.

So now what? Does she lose her Rosarius since she apparently gives it to Ghouliman? So her Geminae are dead and she gives away her Rosarius. Guess she is back to the old Saint Rules? Is this why the digital sororitas rules are still valid?
She does have a rosarius in those rules as well though if I'm not mistaken...

-=Edit=- Put this in a Spoiler tag since it's, you know... a spoiler. - Lorek

I picked up two 10-man squads of Mk III Legion vets (presumably from the... Prospero? box) on ebay for... hrm, $17 each?

They were great for starting my 40K Death Guard army
