Ah, I thought you still had the plastic bits, and the super glue was just too fiddly. You could try greenstuff - but I suspect that will be too fiddly (and fragile) too. Unless you can find some matching tips from elsewhere (that won't miss them - leftover bits or Chaos perhaps) - it may be just best to leave them as is. Battle damage does happen...

Good luck getting the third bladeguard done! His buddies are looking great and as others have said, the broken halo is barely noticeable and of course it's the sarge who would have the battle damage

Ok onto the next project a Callidus Assassin for the monthly painting challenge.

Love the nonsense pose of that Callidus Bladeguard look the very thing.

I just can't get over how horribly impractical that pony tail would be in combat... or... life for that matter.

@Graven thanks buddy, I do like the bladeguards. As for the assassin she does have a very strange pose indeed.
@Gitz why she needs that long hair is so she can "Whip her hair back and forth".

It is pretty ridiculous and even worse it looks to be about 50% of her weight!

I am not a huge fan of the newest of New Marines and their giant shields, but they came out great.

Thanks Theo, I am really enjoying the new marines myself. May post up a pic later of them next to the assassin, they really seem like the 8 foot tall giants the fiction paints them out to be.

Your in for a ride, if you were me.
I am unsure, do you want to go for a darker look? Maybee light dark grey / Black drybrush? On the bodysuit that is?
Alternatively you can use something like ulthuan grey or any other lighter grey to highlight via drybrush after you applied a shade like nuln?

Since it is an asissin i'd probably also only make the edges of the metal of the blade metallic whilest the body of the blade is darkened?

FWIW as allways, my painting advice with a high ammount of salt.

It looks like you may have jumped too far from your base purple to the first layer colour. That and the spotty coverage is making it hard to determine where you were headed. What were you trying to achieve?
