I had Fantasy, never did goblins but painted a few up.

Whilst I've no interest in Grots (and am jealous of them getting 4 endless spells) this looks to be a fantastic release! I'm also getting the feeling that GW has split the army internally so that you can likely build a fully functioning spiderfang grot army with minimal mushroom elements and vis versa. A very flexible way to have one united larger army that can take what it wants from either half without alliance limitations; but also stand on its own.

Great release and even more models to come - colour me jealous that they are getting so much, but at the same time colour me impressed (And destruction has needed some much needed love as of late).

So no Troggoths or Manglers though?

I just watched the video on the email.
Came here to comment. Saw pictures and thought guess that’s it.

Then went and sat to read it.
And saw that

So probably will be just those we have rumored.

I feel like I may accidentally buy and build all this instead of my current projects..

In the book pictures there are a very big thing with red (squigs?)
Also there are other 2 red big squigs (mangler?)

At the begining of the video we can see a troll at the background . But in the picture of the book GW censured it.

Also in the rules we can see part of a goblin with yellow armor.



And a giant centipede?

The Loonking is possibly the best goblin model GW ever produced. I want three of him and that's probably just the start.

Those dice though.

Probably the first GW faction dice I've ever been tempted by (it helps that the 1 and 6 aren't both symbols)

I love how we see a similar comment with every new army revealed. It tells me GW is doing something right in the design department.

I am enthusiastic. Projects like these show much promise for future releases. Once the angelic elves get their turn... just marvelous.

If only this had been present some 1-2 years ago.

Alas I have not the money nor time for starting new projects.

But they look fantastic.

I need GW to hold off on Angelic/Demonic Aelves at least until mid 2019. Because I know I'm going to likely weaken for at least one of those forces and I really want to actually finish most of my DoK buying/building before that moment comes.

Looks new. Doesn't match the old BFSP Stone Troll I have, nor the old metal ones I can find WDs with.

Waiting for years for plastic Squigs and finally this Christmas GW delivers the goods in such an awesome fashion. Superb!!!

Definitely looks new. It's too tall and bulky to match any of the old Stone Trolls, but its painted in the blue/white they use for Stone Trolls these days.

So they were blurring things out in the preview. I wasn't imagining it.

Anyway, the new Squigs are great - Hoppers and Herders - and it's fantastic to see them not in metal!

Might finally get some for Quest.

It doesn't really say so explicitly, just uses kit and set singular.

But there aren't ANY pieces in common as far as I can tell. Not teeth, not eyes, nor feet or mushrooms.
Maybe it's a big single kit that makes 10 hoppers, 10 squigs and 2 handlers, that actually seems more likely than a dual kit with no overlap at all. (and there are more pieces as well, the video has a handler with cymbals)
But most likely it should say kits and sets, one of hoppers, the other of 'cave squigs'
