Starting to assemble my first LOTR miniatures - Morgul knights. Little more monoposed than I'd like, but I think I can finda fun paint scheme for them.

Some more terrain. Quite a lot of terrain actually. Too much terrain.

No! There's no such thing as too much terrain!

Plus some Dark Eldar. And some Tyranids. And some 3D printed interior terrain (bunks, lockers, even showers!) that will be great for the 40K RPGs.

And a Keeper of Secrets (gotta catch 'em all!).

The Kickstarter for the F*ck D6 ended and I've bought 12 of the things. Should be fun at the FLGS.

Also bought some Cygnor fur contrast since I can't find mine

I also ordered a set of SSU forward observers for one of my DUST armies so I can fire artillery indirect.... they were on sale at miniature market-double win!

40K wise I got a few twin autocannon arms for my dreads, and a 30K sanguinius as a gift for a friend who is a BA fan so he can make his 30K army complete.

Boy or boy did I just purchase a few things.

The end count is:

2x Derelict Factorums
2x Alchomite Stacks
1x Tectonic Frag Drill
4x Ferratonic Incinerators
1x Webway Gate
1x Bone-Tithe Nexus (going webstore exclusive soon, apparently)
1x Herdstone
2x Awakened Wyldwood
1x Moonbase Klaisus
2x Creeping Vines
1x Barbed Bracken

2x Exocrines
2x Zoanthrope boxes
4x Tyrannocytes
1x Archon
1x Succubus
1x Haemonculus
2x DE Wyche boxes
2x Kabalite Warrior boxes
2x Talos boxes
1x Keeper of Secrets
4x CSM Raptor boxes
1x CSM Dark Apostle box
1x Lord Discordant
1x Japanese Nurgle Paint Set
1x Heroes of the Imperium Nurgle Set

Not sure if the last two will ever show up, but hey, figured they were on sale so I'd give it a try. Worse case scenario is I get my money back.

The only downside to this is that some of these had to come from GW directly (booo!) because they don't like selling terrain and clampack characters to stockists.

I hear that.

I just purchased Amalia Novena, the space marine characters pack (cap, chap and lib) and a rando impulse buy of the fantasy fences and walls.

Picked up an Impulsor to convert into a Predator for an Imperial Fists successor I'm beginning to work on, so I now have everything I need for the first 500 points.

Also picked up a box of Scouts for the eventual progress to 750.

Now I just need to avoid buying anything else until I'm finished with what I have

Bit the bullet and grabbed a cheap soul wars set off eBay for £72.

Wanted the Nighthaunt characters from it but eBay scalpers wanted £40 or so for the 3 I wanted.
Can now sell the stormcasts for £30.

I’ve then paid £42 and got an extra character, 20 chainrasps and a few other bits.

In a moment of pure insanity I also just picked up:

6 Ez-2-Bild Poxwalkers
2 Forgefiends
2 Havoc boxes
1 Trygon
1 Hive Tyrant
1 Tyrannofex

I make these purchases fully with the understanding that I cannot remember if I already own 2 plastic Hive Tyrants, nor do I remember how many unbuilt Tyrannofex kits I have (I think it's 1).

I am a mad man.

So umm... *clears throat* ... I bought some more terrain.

See I own this, and outside of buildings I don't have any natural (ie. non man-made) terrain that could go on it. The desert stuff I have isn't the right colour, and the my wooded terrain just wouldn't look right.

So... these might work better. Mix it in with some nice Mechanicus-style buildings, and anything I have that's generic enough to fit with that type of surface (like these), and I think it'll look good.

I hope!

A sta-wet palette, seems to be working, paints dont dry up after 30 seconds of watering down like on my 12 well ceramic palette.

I did make one before but I stopped using it and it grew a small ecosystem

I just received 100 unfinished wooden blocks, 25mm a side. Tomorrow I'm expecting to receive 1008 printable 25mm stickers. Then I'm going to print up some stickers, and stick them to the blocks after a quick sanding.
