Yup, same price. It may be a bit of sticker shock for some, as Rogue Trader does not offer as much stuff as the core set does.

not sure if this was posted before, but the french forum had photos of all models from the newest WD.

It offers more stuff that I want I'm already knee deep in Skitarii and Genestealer Hybrids.

It does look less substantial but it's all new sculpts, Nurgle has 20 models and there's a sprue of doors and a sprue of furniture at least.

Too expensive, so I'll wait a few weeks until I pick it up/christmas. Willpower!

I mean, Orks are on the horizon and I liked their green before I got hooked on Nurgle's green, so they get the preference. And BB Nurgle releasing on the same day Nurgle KT stuff goes up all while working on AoS Nurgle is a bit too much Nurgle even for me.

Really liking those Rogue traders, not what I expected at all and I have been waiting ages for something like that.
Its a shame that I have to buy a game with a lot of stuff I dont need just to get them mind you, but this is GW so I expect it.

I expect the two forces will eventually be available separately (although that depends on how the sprues are configured); that was the case for Execution Force, Deathwatch Overkill, the Horus Heresy boardgames and the heroes from Warhammer Quest Silver Tower. You might have a long wait, though.

They've been shown to be colored plastic, so there's nothing to stop GW from releasing them separately. The wait will probably be considerable, though, unless GW plans to release full sized Rogue Trader/Lost and Damned codices and wants some tie-in models.

Prospero characters and GSC sprue from Overkill (with the only redesigned modern genestealers in 40K) is still not out though...

Why would they release the GSC sprue from Overkill when they have multi-part kits already released?

I could see them releasing it as a starter box.

The sprue contents are all over the place, though; you only get one genestealer per sprue, and then a load of hybrids and Aberrants. It's taken them this long to do new Aberrants, and if they wanted to re-do the genestealers, they'd replace the existing 8-model sprue in the Tyranids range.

That's why the Magos, Patriarch, Primus and familiars come together; they all share a sprue.

what is kill team set faction for 40euros /30 pounds?

All the Kill Team sets (Fangs of Ulrich, Drop Force Imperator, etc) are £30 / €40.

Some are €40,- and some are €50,- depending on the contents of the box.

Ah yes; half and half between £30 and £37.50. My mistake.

So the box contents are from what I can see...

-Models for both teams
-Doors
-Mini-Codex for each team
-Board? (or is this just a 'poster' that looks like terrain?)
-Cards for scenarios and missions

Am I missing something?

£80 is a bit rich for me. I love the models, so it's a bit of a shame

-Scenery like consoles, command chairs, pipes, chests and escape pods

And the board is double sided with a shuttle on one side and an Imperial shrine on the other.

It looks pretty scant. Like, "I can fit all of that terrain in my pocket". All I see is like one pod and some little consoles.

Yeah, I got that. I'm just hoping it's an actual 'board' instead of a 'play mat' that's poster-sized.

It certainly seems less than the Kill Team starter box, indeed, but certainly more than that. In the picture they released I can spot:

- 4 escape pods
- 2 sections of pipe
- 4 chests
- 10 doors
- 2 command chairs
- 4 consoles

Well 6 or more character models in plastic would be more than that alone form GW.

The big Nurgle boys indeed big - maybe £40-50 worth plus are the other bits and pieces.

The two teams in the KT box are what £60 the lot normally?

So KT has 2 basic ten man teams vs 6 (?) Character Figures, guards and dog and 3 big lads plus minions
KT has more substantial terrain vs spaceship board and scatter terrain

I passed on the KT box but this looks much more exciting

Those are €50 retail though, not the €40 of the 'faction set'.

In the White Dwarf spoiler, theres something called Dés Rogue Trader for 10€/12£. Whats that?
