Maybe the price for the box is wrong?

The price for the new Knight in WD is apparently quite wrong (significantly more expensive than any Knight despite GW saying it'd cost no more than a regular Knight).

He refers to the unicorn on her uniform. The tesla guy also has a phoenix on his.

EDIT: The squad has wolves on theirs and the rogue trader a panther or another big cat.

er ok then.....

I assumed its like Star Trek coloured uniforms - a rank and/or department badge but much cooler.

High BS isn't going to win the day in a Skirmish game. I don't think they've got the Strength and Toughness to just get plopped onto the board and crush other Kill-Teams. I'm thinking that these will all need to be clustered together to make some damage happen.

But that rotorcannon is kinda scary.

Source says rotor cannon is ST2 with four shots. So essentially a ratling exterminator.

No its 4 shots each with Damage 2!

Rogue Traders spare no expense when it comes to personal protection, and Voidsmen-at-arms are amongst the best money can buy. Voidmaster Nitsch is like a hero unto himself, with a profile worthy of a senior officer of the Astra Militarum. His squad all come with BS 3+, providing accurate fire support, not to mention the killing power of Stromian Grell’s rotor cannon (which fires 4 shots at Damage 2!). Oh, and don’t forget their swift and loyal canid, Aximillion!

So, does it look like we have any ability to customize the Rogue Trader Kill Team and forge our own narrative, or are we stuck with the options presented?

I've seen no variation of the models.

I'm thinking we might see some kits later, or it might be one of those 'make whatever you want and call it a Rogue Trader crew' for 40k in the future.

Some skills are customisable, you have different versions of Vhane you could pick - a more militant one, or a more hands off strategist. She's still here, with what she has and who's with her. Her specialists are still specialist at what they're specialised on.

The new Knight is £95 in white dwarf, same as the existing Knight kit.

Do I have a Union Jack next to my name?

Tell me if this didn't work:

That's a full AUD$80 higher than the regular Knight, considerably more than the "free" they told us it would be, and almost AUD$100 more than the UK price.

So a few people, myself included, contact GW via either FB or E-mail. They clarified that the price was incorrect and that it should match the regular Knight.

One more massive kit for the pile of unpainted Knights doesn't hurt at this stage.

I have a feeling that we will just see them increase the price of the gallant for those of us in the East. Currently it is not too terrible a deal over here, only about 10% more than UK prices. Most GW stuff costs at least 30% more.
For reference the gallant is ¥16,500 with Rex being ¥21,900. That is a 25% price increase.

Does the kit include full paladin/errant kit? If yes I wouldn't even expect it to be same price just like with warden/gallant/whatever kit. Who would buy paladin/errant kit if you can get this for same price?

The point is that it is the same price on the UK and US and GW went out of their way in the nova preview seminar to say that it would be the same price.

Because Rotocannons are meant to be kinda crap. They're the precursor to the Assault Cannon, but no where near as good.

At £95, it's the same price as the Gallant/Warden/Crusader kit. A tenner more than the Paladin/Errant.

As stated on WarCom, it also includes the Gallant/Warden sprue though. You can make any non-FW Questoris class Knight from that kit.

Realized where the problem is . Australia price is nowhere near gallant etc kit but way higher. UK/EU price match gallant etc(why anybody would bother with those either then? I forsee that kit being discontinued) but australia it's way higher. Nearly castellan high(which in itself got ridiculous bump in price compared to warden etc). Poor australians. It's not even artificial conversion rate they suffer but totally weird pricing decisions.

Rotor cannon are the meant to be the M134 to the Assault Cannon’s M61 (assault cannon used to be GAU-8’s but then third edition happened). Or at least the Hollywood version that is somehow man-portable by mysterious means.

I really like the medic, the rogue trader herself is okay, but I don't like the 100% fetish, pointy nipple death cult assassin.

Nobody seems to have mentioned the Fleur de Lys on the medic, maybe she is somehow related to the Sororitas? She isn't called an Hospitaller, though.

lol @ the same usual poster complaining about the same usual thing in every thread, will he ever get over it? I mean, I could understand... if he wasn't also always complaining about some other group of players never being happy lol.

Good catch on the Fleur De Lys - would make sense - Hospitialler's are some of the best medics in the Imperium so getting one as your personnel physician would be sensible for a RT. Elicia does not seem to have Xenos in her entourage so that would cause less friction with a
Sister.

Assassins are usually in synth-skin or body gloves so that seems ok - they are fanatical death cultish and that has pretty much always been their look - again very Blanche which they have stated is there inspiration.
