I like the idea that the Trader herself is Eldar which is why she has the full face veil. Have to wait and see when the set comes but cool idea nonetheless

I'll be happy with being allowed to apply it to a Tempestor, or dare we say it, Tempestor Prime.

I'd be more happy to get a Tempestor Adjutant or something like that. An Elite choice Tempestor that can issue Orders or serve as a Commander for Kill Team.

Could go for a Kasrkin Sergeant too.

That would be nice indeed, though that did not stop us from house ruling it along with some other things in the meantime.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Oh jeebus, if that article is right they've derped heavy on the fluff in this one.

Unless it comes with a list of qualifiers as long as your arm, "Nurgle can get through Gellar Fields now" is the end of the Imperium and Chaos wins. There's no reason ol' Pappy Tubs wouldn't immediately do it to every ship that enters the warp, and as soon as humanity figured out what was happening that would be it, interstellar travel nixed, Imperium collapses like the Age of Strife.

All they had to do was fart out something about the field failing for some mundane reason(technical fault, cultist stowaway suicider, dumb captain tried to fly through a really bad warp storm etc etc) and have the plague infect the ship in the moments between that and them executing an emergency re-entry to reality. Instead they've casually chucked out a line that would throw a spanner in the works of the whole setting if it were actually followed through.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

We'll see, it could be a fluke, a very specific scenario brought on by the splitting of the Imperium or whatnot.

Funny, I’ve got the WD, and I read it as a glitch in the Geller Fields, followed by a daemonically forced collapse.

It's Cawl! it's all Cawl! Read between the lines of the codex man, he's screwing with the geller fields!

Also has anyone recieved a Killzone deathworld forest yet - is the contents as it says in the description or as it shows in the pictures?

Well since the supplement after this is all about factions getting leader/HQ models, it does lay the ground for it.

Looking forward to deploying Cult Eastwood, but interested whether Space Marines will get a customisable lieutenant or something else.

Well first we got a dark angel with a cool power sword

Then we got a Space Wolf with a cool power axe

Next we are clearly going to get a Dark Angel with TWO power swords

Yeah, if that has no qualifiers and is just a thing that can happen, it ranks right there with 'every commissar needed to kill another commissar-in-training to become one' with thoughtless, stupid, setting wrecking grimdumb for the sake of grimdumb. I miss the rare few authors who can still do grimdark subtle, not 'and then Failbaddon killed another gazillion civilians while twirling his mustache and cackling villainously to show he totally didn't lose the CXXXVIIIth Black Crusade' kind

Yeah, I'm on the side thinking this is not too bad.

There's about 3 Kill team starters worth of new models, with cards and everything. The terrain is limited, but I'm hoping thats a legitimate board that comes with it.

$100 after discounts is certainly doable.

I'm feeling a bit less concerned about it as well. It looks like there's at least 3-4 character clamshells that are intended to come out of this later. Most on the Rogue Trader side, but the leader for the Gellerpox Infected seems to be a 'standalone' monster rather than the other big mutants.
