Yeah... i never liked thatborks weapons overheat and we never got a choice. Imwould have preferred a better risk vs reward... like our weapons were normal but had the option to overheat for double the power but double the mortal wounds on a 1.

Hey now! Those ork cheer leaders went and put their best clothes and make-up on just for the match! Try and show at least a little respect for the gals. I also have it on good authority that, by ork standards, those three are real hotties!

Really? People complain they don't want sexy models and want true to life figures then FW gives you all what an actual Orc cheerleader would look like and you complain? This alone wants me to buy them. .. i mean the nurgel stuff sells and that's repulsive! Just because it's a female orc and you suddenly think it won't sell?

What did you want? A sexy lady? Just get yourself a normal human cheerleader and paint it green then!

Fantasy orcs are not different.

They are spores just like 40k.

Bloodbowl on the other hand I have no clue.

Being Orc's they, to me, look as they should. But I am thinking about female animals in the wild kingdom being larger than the Male, usually? So to me they should be large thick and orc.

I'm sold on Female Orc's for AoS. And Bonesplitterz. That faction "Needs" (subjectivity!) a new character model/unit to keep it interesting to paint. I've several of each unit already and I can't be bothered to paint yet more Arrow Boys. (60 should be enough! ) But maybe a new ranged unit a new mounted unit and at least one new character and the tribe will grow! ...get it.
The cheerleaders..not so much. Don't play Blood Bowl any more. we played on deployment and one guy just made a black Orc list and spent his time knocking down other players and killing their team off! I'm not sure he even bothered to score points...

Oh I will be getting those...without a doubt. The whole beach encounter on the way to the plunder dome is contingent on having both dark elf and Ork cheerleaders.

After playing Orks for 10 years, I'm no surprised that our 8th ed. Codex could be this late. I also won't be surprised if it's bad. However, if it IS that late AND bad, I think I may finally walk away from the army. 10 years is a long time to get the shaft.

I will probably leave them shelved even if new models get released. Can't condone the disrespect they got from 7th all over again, by buying new models. I even played with them most of 7th. Every win I got was cherished and it wasn't many. But I can't do that again

And yes... 10 years and 1 bad codex is not a good way to treat loyal customers. But I'll probably still buy models just because I love converting and modeling.

Never believe people on the interwebz complaining about T&A and tactical high-heels. They want slooty models but are afraid to voice their opinion.

It’s neither news or rumour but in the rules breakdown for kill team on warhmammer community they said about negative modifiers stacking and made a comment about ORKS being ok as a natural 6 is always a hit in killteam which gives me hope in the codex, it shows they are aware of the issues and might deal with them.

We talked about this earlier but yes... it's interesting how they have pointed out a few 40k problems in the killteam stuff.

That list is not truth as GW stated - NEXT 2 codicies.
Which means either Genestealer goes 2019+ or we will have 2 codicies in a half-year.
And that is the rate of releases somewhere in 2010-12.

And they also PROMISED that by november they will release all the old codicies.

I thought it would be funny to have an ork army that used the terms Girlz instead of Boyz, galz instead of ladz, etc. The reason I always abandon the idea is that the obvious word to use instead of nobz is one that some people find deeply offensive and would get me kicked out of the FLGS.
