Secret Caches are the best kind. That's a great little scene you have set up there.

Nice work on the hardware store building as well.

A blast from the past... Chaos Dreadnought for Warhammer 40,000, built and painted back in 1996 or '97. Base and autolauncher added later, and it used to have a banner pole with a crucified skeleton, that has gone astray somewhere over the years.

Still holds up man.

Yes, I can see the round base was a later addition...although still far enough back in the past you used green flock on the base still.

Can't share all of this one yet, but the latest Maelstrom's Edge sneak peek features a glimpse of a model that has a cloak sculpted by me... Very excited to see this one in plastic, and can't wait to release it.

It's getting rather tempting to make some sort of industrial structure out of old sprue...

Thanks. It will be even more exciting when I get to full models, but, you know, baby steps...

I like your industrial structure idea.

Mistakes may have been made...

When I bought this model from Troll Soup, I thought I was buying a resin fansculpt of the Rogue Trader dreadnought, completely overlooking the '100mm tall' bit that was clearly listed in the product description.

I'm not disappointed, though...

They had goofy nicknames for the different variations of those if I remember correctly... unfortunately now I can't remember what they were.

The sprue tower has me thinking of the teleporter rings from Stargate .

Also if you turn them on their ends they might be like the new 3D printed bunkers the US Military is making out of concrete. They have a gigantic printer that lays down layers of Concrete in giant horse shoe shapes and then lifts them up on end to make sections of arches. you put 4-5 of them in a row and a truck mounted missile system can pull under it. They are also making 3D printed barracks called B-huts.

LOL, Theo your mind is an amazing place, never change.-camkierhi 9/19/13

Mostly, on my phone.

That's some quality weathering right there

Continuing my tinkering with the PDC gun carriage, I built a new version of the Epirian's faction objective, using Epirian Hunter and Drone parts and the track unit from the gun carriage:

Thanks!

Just for the sake of comparison, here's a shot with the Uplink Relay alongside the Hunter and the regular gun carriage.

I love your conversion... but I have a soft spot for the dozer blade...

I did consider leaving it on, but the Uplink Relay really needed to be on the medium sized base, and the dozer blade pushes it a bit too far over for comfort. The unconverted gun carriage is on the MEdge large base.

Love what you did with those Insaniak! Excellent conversion and you nailed that weathered dozer blade.

I bought those kits when they were kickstarted and was very sad to see them go. Might have to pick some up now for some projects of my own...

One of the fun things about the current state of international mail is having stuff arrive long after you've completely forgotten you ordered it...

I can't even remember what I was planning to do with these bad boys...

Blast from the past, as I'm still working through the cabinet taking new pics of stuff - Limited Edition Kroot Shaper, from Games Day 2001. Painted... I dunno, a while ago, although sometime after 2001, presumably.

Kroot are a really interesting mini-army. Tbh I find them much more interesting visually than the T'au! Like, the bones hanging off the cloak, the more primitive and vicious weapons, the hair-spines, all the cool things on this model that you brought out so well in your paint-job!

See what's on my painting table Now painting: Gravis Captain
