Maybe the dude with the beret is a Not-Tempestus Scion? The gun looks a little like a hot-shot volley gun...

Damn, with the exception of the Eisenkern and the Cannon Fodder WGA make me want to start a new Astra Militarum regiment with every single one of their sci-fi kits

I thought that was one of the new space Brits?
Besides Pith Helmets, Brodies and Glengaries, the Beret is also often associated with english troops.

Didn't we already have a layout for the Space Brits? Or did we only get the normal Brits

We saw renders for WW1 brit bitz.

I also assume these are the space brits and their training level looks to be on the far opposite end of the spectrum to the Cannon Fodder. Great proxies for Stormtroopers/Tempestus.

Found the renders, and yeah, he does look quite close to the renders of Space Brits.

So, anyone else get the email that shows a Not-Olog Hai and the Not-Blood Beret teaser?

I can't paste the photo from the email but both look pretty damned sweet!

Ya mean these two? Yeah, look pretty sweet. I wonder if the Not-Olog is what their eventual Landsknecht Ogres will be based on, body and proportions-wise.

https://wargamesatlantic.com/blogs/news/ogre-planning shows the ogre model by a different company that WGA says they are using for inspiration. Also says the ogres will be about 45mm, so not quite 2" high.

So what's this LOTR ogre then, it wasn't on the roadmap, right?

It is the inspiration (size/proportionwise) for the Landsknecht ogres. The details are in the WGA blog entry I've linked.

And then, Heavy Support for Heavy Weapon Teams and Command Squads, Space Ogres for Ogryn and Cannon Fodder for Conscripts. Soon enough WGA will cover pretty much most of IG's infantry range and i, for one, couldn't be happier.

I did not know about the Space Brits. There goes any reason to buy anything KT related. I can have a WWI themed gasmask crew and avoid paying double for half the GW Krieg model sprue. Plus, I bet Wargames Atlantic does not have the A73 issue.

Paradigm for a happy relationship with Games Workshop: Burn the books and take the models to a different game.

Here's the original "Space Brtis" render, if you're interested. It came out a long time ago though, and it seems like quite a few things changed on it.

Huh okay, the beret guy is something else then, there's nothing in common except wearing suspenders and I doubt they'd resculpt the whole kit.

Which means two brand new kits were spoiled today.

Uh, Space Brits and Elite Space Brits as two kits? I mean Grognards have two kits, so.

It's official!

The sculpting team has been hard at work on a great new addition to the Classic Fantasy range: Trolls!

This is just the initial sculpting and no posing has been done yet (no, they're not just going to be standing around looking big!)

Let us know what you think below while we keep working on them!

Damn, 5 lads per sprue, of this size? That's impressive, although i am afraid if it's gonna be a standard-size sprue, they might not fit a lot of extra gubbins on them, which is personally my favourite part of WGA's kits.

If that's the case, I don't like the changes. Kneepads are a step in the wrong direction, and I'm not fond of the angular shoulder pads either.

Also not a fan of the weird top-grip for the weapon, although I suspect that design is intended to allow rifle arms to be used and so would mean losing sprue space to fix, so I can live with it.

Excellent Trolls. Another kit on the wanted list for me.

I do not think the figure with the beret is a “Space Brit”. It seems to me focusing too much on the beret is a mistake.

Yeah, the trolls are on my must buy list too. Not sure what I will use them for. Wonder if the ogre heads will fit the troll bodies
