Looks... like someone cosplaying as Batwoman, without the right hair.
This is going to be such a trainwreck...
That's clearly not true...

I really dont get why they just didnt recast her.
Was there really no one who could have looked like Kate with a little make up and hair?
Is hollywood really lacking in skinny white women? Just mess with the hair and a little make up and its fine.
Its amazing what hair can do to make you look different.

The whole issue is like that. Its very political, which is not a complaint, just an observation. That’s Ryan’s only page in the whole special longer issue 50 though.

The Killing Joke could never be printed today. If you're hankering for actually GOOD Batman content, go (re)watch Batman The Animated Series (the one from the 90s). Tidbit: It was animated on black paper, which gives it its unique feel. When a show is so good it actually causes the comics to introduce Harley Quin AND reboot Dr. Freeze's backstory, you know it has to be good. Also watch Justice League and Batman Beyond (+The Return of the Joker movie), both super solid shows. The Red Hood animated movie is also superb (John DiMaggio does a good job as the Joker, though of course Mark Hamill will always be The Joker in my mind). Other Batman standouts are Assault on Arkham and The Dark Knight Returns. Justice League Dark is also good. The Killing Joke adaptation is dreck, do not watch it. On topic: The suit and hair are stupid. Just another hand-hold for someone to grab.

Im not really complaining about them being political, I love it when comics are written politically. Just the way that was written was really bad, it felt like some bad advertisement from a rival candidate.

https://boundingintocomics.com/2020/10/29/rumor-tim-drake-will-be-black-not-asian-in-titans/ This is getting beyond ludicrous now. This is full on plaid.
Tim Drake was originally a poverty stricken child criminal. What are you trying to say HBO? < Sarcasm

You carry on being outraged if it makes you feel better. I've been pretty happy with all of the casting in Titans so far, so see no reason to object to them continuing to cast whoever they see fit.
I'm personally less interested in the colour of his skin than with whether or not the character is good.

They do, from the sound of it.
An actor of color is the priority, but Kaya adds they are keeping their options open and are willing to cast whomever regardless of background.

Tim Drake had loving, if not rather absentee parents (until they died, a relatively long time after he became Robin if I remember right) and was basically a fanboy who realised that Batman was going off the rails in the wake of Jason Todds death and was smart enough to actually figure out Bruces identity, literally showed up on Wayne Manors doorstep and said, 'look, you need a Robin to keep you in check. It's going to be me, I'm not taking no as an answer.'
The poverty stricken child criminal who stole the wheels off the Batmobile?
That's Jason Todd. You know, the kid who has been in Titans since season 1.

That was a brutal murder truly worthy of the Titans. Although was Jason in 1? I thought he didn’t showed up till 2.

And now we're getting Wonder Girl.
Yara Flor is the new Wonder Woman in the upcoming Future State series. Flor is an Amazonian Warrior and Brazilian River God who takes up the mantle of Wonder Girl. Diana is still around in the future as Immortal Wonder Woman in a separate comic series.
If you don't know who this Wonder Girl is, don't worry, no one else does either. The comic series introducing her isn't even out yet.

They give us the Justice League in the Hall of Justice and before they even have a proper teamup, most of the seats will be gone.
In saying that, I'd really like some other characters to cross over to other shows. - I'd REALLY love a Legion of Superheroes crossover to the Flash (With Jessica Parker Kennedy as Jenny Ognats, to cause Barry and Iris a REAL mess of feelings).
Abother thing I would have loved to see...
Iris does an expose on Supergirl, Nia Nal does one on Flash. They're both 'day in the life' episodes.

I think shows cancelling kinda shows the fault in the idea of a shared universes, Especiallly with TV shows. Eventually the favorites and core are going to start drying up, with supergirl and Arrow gone, thats 2 of the 3 originals gone. Legends is off doing its own thing while drinking the bong water. Batwomen iis kinda.......weird. It leaves just the flash which is starting to lose speed.
Expecially when shows have different themes that can actually clash with one another.
IT seems MCU has the momentum to keep going, but its possible that at this point, it might have been lightning in a bottle

I don't think the shared universe is inherently a problem, they just need to make sure that they choose spinoff start actually have something different to add, and keep the writing entertaining.
Although from a down under perspective, keeping them all on the same fething streaming service would have been helpful, also.

Watching Supergirl season 5.
Benoist's pregnancy basically made her a guest star in her own show for half the season and the Crisis cross over means the writers can just alter and ignore anything that's gone before. The only good part is Jon Cryer's Luthor, he is just too much fun. The season would have been so much better if it had been about Luthor faking his death and becoming head of the DEO instead of 'Crisis did it!'.
Y'know forget the Superman and Lois show, I want to see a show about the world's smartest man fighting a guerilla war against the world's strongest man.

So anyone check out the new Batwoman? They really went cold turkey on Kate. They didn’t even get Ruby to be the voice of Kate narrating a letter she left behind in the event of her death.
