Why would anyone have to second guess buying more Knights ?

Now, if they said, "Chaos Knights," I would understand that they were suffering from a possible brain injury and suggest they go to the nearest Emergency Room instead.

If that was a problem, instead of dick moves like you suggest they could write rules that make two of the same guns not the most viable option.

Would that even be such a bad thing? I mean, don't most people magnetize their Knight loadouts?

I certainly would, but am not into knights (besides the lanky ones such as Atrapos and that otner one..)

I guess you have views on people running Chaos Dominus knights...

I just wish Imperial Knights could run the dual avengers (as seen in Dawn of War).

I cannot fathom this loadout surviving for Chaos Knights either.

Not really. The dominus feels smaller than the questorus kit and is far less aggressively posed.

It's the boring knight.

I realize now what is missing from the Knights... Tactical Rocks!

Seriously, having something for the Knights to Captain Morgan on will improve the monopose debacle which make 95% of all Knight armies look the same.

Now that the Knight ranges are each being split across two Questoris boxes, it would be the perfect time to introduce a sprue with a different leg pose...
But that would reduce el mucho profit.

I wouldn't expect posible legs unless they do a new frame for questoris mechanicum knights for heresy. Aesthetically it may look nicer if there is variety in leg posing, but from both a sprue design and sales point of view, they get a lot more value out of addon weapon sprues to the existing kit. If they are going to do a new chassis frame, they may as well make a fully new knight, like the dominus or chaos knight.

Yeah, that’s always annoyed me about the Questoris kit; only one leg pose. I mean the tiny Hermes sentinels have multiple poses; there should never have been a problem getting something like a knight to at least be able to switch which leg is leading without resorting to saws.

The swines, the Imperial one has more stuff in at this point.

I'll bet they end up costing the same, despite the Chaos versions not having carapace weapons. Spike tax!

The Knights need something to improve their look.

As much as I love giant stompy robots... most of the Imperial Knights and their screwy Chaos counterparts have the same look with a different paint job.

Kit bashes and Customisable parts are difficult for larger models like Knights.

I would love for the company to release an upgrade kit for knights.

No idea if it'll return when the new books drop, but they at least had a Forge World 'Chaos Knight' kit that was a plastic Questoris chassis and then a bunch of FW resin components for armor plates. I used it for my double-battle-cannon Despoiler, Thunderhead.

Also, conversion kits are actually pretty easy to come by. There used to be a ton on Shapeways, and I'm sure you can find them on Etsy. I'm currently working on printing out a Chaos Cerastus kit I found on Cults3D.

Something we must have in 40K is more Ambulls. Definitely an Ancient Ambull.

Is there any hope that Imperial Knights (and their Spiky cousins) will get new Armiger kits too?

Doubtful. Knights tend to get 1 release per codex. I'd expect either armigers for LI or the mechanicum variants for HH before new armigers for 40k

WarCom 40k downloads page is showing some new errata/FAQ documents for Emperor's Children, Death Guard & Eldar, as well as new(?) Sanctifiers files for Sisters & Agents, and an Index Cards update. All show 14/05/2025 as the date.

Wonder why there isn't anything for World Eaters.

WE got their points updated on the MFM today. No FAQs/errata though as the WE rules are mostly coherent even if the codex release was heavily on the boring side.

There is a rumour that Chaos Knights will soon enjoy a box set of 7 wardogs.

If that's true then Imperial Knights might receive a similar set, being the ideal opportunity to introduce at least one new variant with the intention of being a character to lead other Armigers.

A replacement to the Knight Preceptor? I'm looking over old codicies, and it looks like the Preceptor used to give bonuses for hanging out near Armigers. Kinda like how Chaplains used to affect Marines.

From what I can see, the only thing they changed about the Sanctifiers was removing the points cost from the Datasheets, only to forget to include them in the Field Manual
