Honestly considering how many they removed I was surprised they kept the mega-titan models like that around after they took away all the more practical models from the range.

If the points are close, looks like my 2000 point list will have 103 infantry, 12 steeljacks, and 3Sags. Dwarf Horde GO!

Maybe as a PvE boss?

Now that's a glow-up for the Nightbringer!

Most likely its a "boss" for both sides to fight against in a mission just as part of the packaging to make it more exciting as a new product launch.

New SoB look awesome too and nice to see one more finecast model cast away to the depths!

Seems strange to lock such an important necron model into a sub-game fomo box.

Thats how they drive sales to the secondary product line

It makes sense to the shareholders. The big KT box is pretty much guaranteed to sell out, meaning GW will move a minimum X units of Nightbringer and regain the investment on the molding tool.

Then a few months later he gets reboxed separately and any further sales are pure profit.

True and its a pain when those fomo boxes go out of sale and we have to wait for the retail, but we do know at least that it will come to retail

Feet look different. Looks to be a new kit.

That wouldn't be impossible with an upgrade sprue though. The current Raptors have the front part of the feet interchangeable with the claws of the Warp Talons.

There's almost no shared components, unless the upgrade kit is new arms, legs, chests, heads, weapons and backpacks?

Definitely a new kit, hip armour plates, broader shoulders and tactical rocks are a dead giveaway.

New Nightbringer is a huge glow up, going to make my Deceiver look like a look an epic scale model flanked by the new shards.

None of the parts look like they came from the old kit, and the fact that there’s duplicates of poses is a dead giveaway that it’s a new kit of only 2-3 unique poses with just options for heads/arms/etc.

It’s probably a Night Lords specific kit that they’ll sell alongside the existing raptors/warp talons instead of an upgrade.

I am loving the new Raptors and the stunning new Nightbringer model. Damn, that is an impressive Kill Team box!

The SoB's look like a whole new kit and not an upgrade frame too FWIW. The legs, bodies and shoulders are all a single molded peice on the current kits so impractical to change their appearance radically. Condemnor bolt pistols look cool.

Looks like new raptors. Details like the chest buckle of the suspenders is different.
They look pretty lame compared to the current tiny raptors.

0% chance of that. I'm not a skilled Spanish speaker but it's pretty easy to confirm that these don't have Night Lord specific names and none of the armor or weapons is uniquely NL.

Rapaz (pl. Rapaces) is the Spanish name for Raptor, which is the generic unit filler listed at the bottom of the Killteam

Espolon (pl. Espolones) de la Disformidad is the Spanish name for Warp Talons, which is one of the specialists choices

So this is definitely a replacement for the old box, with the other Killteam specialists on an upgrade sprue.
The only thing that remains to be seen is whether there will be enough parts to make 10 Warp Talons or if they're going to be reduced to an upgrade option.

Text on the post said Coming 2026. So one presumes if all the models in the new pics are a single boxed set? That’s not coming until next year either.

EDIT: Ah! From the WarCom article, this box is the last one in the Tomb World series. So yeah, this was leaked way before they planned anyone to see it.

I love the model, I don't particularly love it as a Necrons model, but that's a personal thing from someone who doesn't collect the army.

Hot damn those new raptors are nice. Was hoping they'd be based on the classic ones but whatever. Really wanna know exactly what their options for 40k will be, 2x heavy melee per 5? A dual accursed too? Special weapons, etc.

Could be that the 40k release of NB is 2026, with the KT box being a way to get it a few months earlier.

But let's riff on some speculation:

We've seen the Crons v Deathwatch box; if this set includes NB as a PVE boss, might the terrain be a continuation of the Necron theme too? Because, I gotta say: if I need the box that includes DW, so I get a Cron KT and terrain, and I need those Sisters, so I get NB and more Cron terrain... Guess who's gonna end up building a small army of Crons?

It may not have been my intention to start another army... But if I've got the plastic anyway, why not?

Sheesh. Another toy soldier model turned into a diorama on a dinner plate.

Was liking it quite a lot till I focused on the minecraft cloak bottom.

The comparison with the original makes me actively dislike the new Nightbringer.
