Apparently Burger King (Mexico) is doing toys for the film and posted a picture. It, uh, may have some spoilers:

Spoiler:

Is that...a Nuclear Man outfit in the back left? He is a clone of Superman so it fits, but still lolwat.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

As is tradition lol, didn't something similar happen for the Captain America: BNW fast food toy releases?

Toys are responsible for a lot of leaks these days. Having to get the production of the toys finished so they can be on shelves when the film/series is released has been a gold mine for spoiler sleuths. Of course it could also be a misdirect like with Avengers: Endgame when they had a Funko Pop of Hulk busting out of the Hulkbuster armor, which never happened in the movie.

Yeah, movie-tie-in toys are not always 100% accurate to the movie. Sometimes they're based on early drafts, sometimes they're seemingly just made up out of whole cloth.

I like a lot of what I am seeing as in Lex Luthor not doing a real estate plot, big robot, big monster, saving people etc... All very good very superman things. But 1) its a lot of things for one movie and 2) I don't know if the wonky wobbly close up camera stuff is doing any of it any favors.

Over all excited to see it but cautious.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

After digging through James Gunn's Instagram posts, I am a lot Less enthused to see this movie.

It feels like he has attempted to cram as much as he can into one film.

I feel like he's trying to build his own version of the MCU, by throwing us in the deep end of the pool.

Feels more like picking up a random Superman comic in the 90’s. That sense of connection between all these heroes will either make the setting feel lived in or the film feel bloated.

I really don't like the fisheye lens shots... but other than that, this is still looking good.

I would be more worried about to much being crammed in but Gunn has shown a deft touch with large ensemble casts so I am slightly less worried.

Ordered tickets for opening night and seats are already filling up with about a month to go.

Superman: How Long Clark Kent Has Been Man of Steel Revealed - SuperHeroHype

While speaking with Fandango‘s Perri Nemiroff, the Guardians of the Galaxy director elaborated on how the upcoming Superman film will set up the new DCU. Towards the end of his explanation, Gunn casually divulged that his version of Clark Kent has been operating as the Man of Steel for three years before the events of the new film take place.

You couldn't make a movie those types would like.
So their opinions shouldn't count.

Been to see it.

It’s good. It’s definitely a James Gunn movie, but a restrained James Gunn behind the wheel. It makes Superman endearing and interesting once again.

Lex is superb as a character here. Easily my favourite Big Screen take on him.

It is one the straight evilest Lexes we’ve seen, and in a disturbingly realistic way.

The other standout is Terrific, who almost steals the movie. Probably gets the coolest action scene too.

Virtually All the characters are perfect. I think the Only character I didn’t really care for is Hawkgirl, because she doesn’t really Do anything, she’s just kind of There. Even when she’s beating people down she doesn’t do it in any kind of interesting way.

Yeah. When she’s on-screen it’s pretty cool. But you’re right, she doesn’t really do anything plot wise.

But, and I’ll spoiler tag this bit.

Spoiler:
I got the feeling the Justice Gang were meant to be kind of inefficient. Whilst we don’t see as much interaction in action with Supes as I’d like, it does work for me as a raspberry to the Justice League movies, as when you’ve Supes on your side? How good do you have to be.

Krypto is Best Boy though. Except for your Doggo, dear reader. For clearly your Doggo is Best Doggo.

They seemed plenty effective, and arguably More efficient at getting the job done fast. They were there to contrast his No Kill policy, and attempts to mitigate collateral damage. They helped to make him look more the paragon rather than simply the strongest.

Bit of both

It’s still far and away one of the best Superman Movies.

Less camp than the Reeves one, but not afraid to include humour, which was sorely missing from the Edgelord DCEU attempts.

I’m particularly in love with

Spoiler:
Ma and Pa Kent just being……parents. Not paragons of virtue. Not sagely. Just….loving parents that raised their boy as best they could. That’s really beautiful to me.

I'm not interested in Superman, but the Gunn DC universe, seeing as how Wonder Woman is due out soon.

Did he incorporate the other characters well? Did the movie make the world feel like it was full of heroes?

Iirc the opening scrawl says Metahumans first appeared 300 years ago, with Superman landing on the planet 30 years ago. You’ve got the Justice gang around. Another guy. A brief Peacemaker cameo. They reference them but don’t show many others who aren’t directly involved in this story.

Agreed with this post, and had an all-around great time with it!

Not without flaws, but nothing that makes it bad. Just imperfect.

Is it better than Man of Steel is the only real question.

I don't really care who wins, so long as Zack Snyder loses

I liked Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder's Justice League film. I thought it was quite good, if a little long (felt like it should've been a series on HBO/Max).

I really wanted to like this but ended up walking out after the first hour. It's very campy, in a way that had me laughing at the movie rather than with it. I thought Corenswet was great, but just like with Cavill, hugely let down by the atrocious script. There are a lot of really stupid things that happen to make the plot move forward.

Spoiler:
The breaking point for me was the total about-face towards Superman once Luthor leaks the doctored message. No one on his council thought the timing was a little suspicious after he just tried to convince them Superman was a threat? Like... really? Not one person?

How does it take Clark so long to connect the dots before flying back to home base? As soon as he sees the message he should have peeled it out of there but somehow he needs to have a chat with the justice gang before he considers hey... maybe they got this recording from the only place where it exists.

Somehow, despite the already terrible optics, Superman is also dumb enough to go charging into Luthor's office and breaking everything in sight. It's apparent to everyone but Superman that that's what Luthor wants.

Does the Fortress of Solitude not have security cameras? Lex is halfway in by the time any of the drones even realize something is wrong. Sure, it's coded to Supes' DNA, but there's like 4 other guys with Lex and no one but Superman has been there for 30 years. You'd think Kryptonian tech would be a little harder to fool.

Then there's the scene where the justice gang is clearly not handling the monster in the background very well while Clark has a chat with Lois. The movie is trying so hard to convince me this character cares about people and then shows me a completely indifferent Superman content to let this thing wreak havoc in the background.

It's a mess of a movie. The only scene I really dug was the interview with Lois. That was actually really well done, gave an insight into the character, and showed real heart.
