Missionary On A Mission
The Eye of Terror
|
See title. In this thread we state other popular characters or things so that they can be used in a game of 40k. I'll start: Elites: Gordon Freeman. 75 points. WS3 BS3 S3 T3 W3 A2 I4 Ld10 Sv3+4++ Wargear: 9mm Pistol: 18" S3 AP- Pistol SMG: 18" S4 AP- Assault 3 Crowbar: The Crowbar is a Close Combat Weapon that gives Gordon the "Rending" special rule to all his attacks. Frag Grenades HEV Suit. The Hazardous Enviornment or HEV suit, was designed to protect but all but the most extreme conditions. It allows gordon to breathe for a short time underwater, see in the dark, or jump higher when he crouches. Most importantly, it gives gordon a 3+ armor save as well as a 4+ invulnerable save Special Rules: Eternal Warrior. Gordon is destined for greatness, and can shake off rocket launchers, giant lasers, and enormous falls. As such, he has the Eternal Warrior special rule. Furious Charge. The only thing scarier than a Hero with a mission is a Hero without one, dropped in unknown territory with nothing but a crowbar. Gordon is desperate, but more angry than scared, as such he has the Furious Charge special rule. Auto-Aim. Whoever s playing Gordon is a scrub, because he's got the game on easy. Gordon's attacks hit without him really trying. All his ranged attacks are twin-linked, and all his close combat weapons are master-crafted. Options: May buy any of the following weapons at the cost listed. Revolver. The Revolver can, for some reason, hit a speck of dust off a gnat's ass at basically any range. Don't ask. 36" S4 AP4 Pistol - 10 Rocket Launcher. The Rocket Launcher is a laser guided-weapon, be careful though, if you stand near a wall of something and your mouse twitches it's gunna come back and bite you in the ass 36" S7 AP4 Assault 1, gets hot, Blast. - 15 Gravity Gun The gravity gun can catch, lift, and throw small objects. No enemy units charging Gordon may make use of Offensive grenades, and Gordon is not affected by defensive grenades. - 15 Crossbow The Crossbow is almost as accurate as the revolver, it shoots energy-enriched bolts that drop 10 feet as soon as they leave the bow. It's strong though, and has a scope, so if you take the time to aim it it'll wreck stuff 30" SX AP1 Rapid-Fire, Sniper. - 20

Not bad, but I think he is too cheap.
You also forgot the "Crowbar Ninja" skill. When in close combat, gains an extra d3 attacks and Rending if target has an Armor Value.

Optimus Prime 250pts WS 7 BS 5 S6 AV13/12/10 I5 A3 Walker Wargear: 2 Dreadnaught CCW Energy Blaster: The Energy Blaster is the main firearm carried by Autobots, designed to destroy the armored Decipticons. It can be fired with either arm, and requires both of Optimus' arms to be destroyed for it to be removed. It fires with the following profile: 24" S9 AP1 Rapid Fire Inspiring Presence: Optimus' incredable leadership skills and legendary prowess in battle is a sight to behold. All friendly models within 12" gain +1 attack and Fearless. Legacy of the Primes: Optimus is gifted with greatness. Any rolls on the damage table against him roll 2 dice and the owner picks the roll to be used. Transform and roll out!: Optimus is a transformer, and may switch between his truck and robot form during the movement phase, but may not transform after he moves. He may also transform into a walker during the assault phase and may assault. He has a transport capacity of 6 when in truck mode, but cannot transform when carrying models. When he is in truck mode he uses the following profile, but loses all wargear: AV13/13/12 Tank

Agree. A hero of sorts with customizable equipment and fantastic stats, he should at least be 150 base. Currently he costs little more than an Inquisitor Lord, and is better equpped as default.
Also, since his 9mm and SMG are slug based weaponry, I think they should at least be AP6. They arent self propelling anti-personnel rounds like bolters fire, but they're still solid slugs that have more oomph than las weaponry.

Chuck Norris.
Special Rules.
Wandering around the battlefield Chuck Norris watches with mild disinterest as all goes to hell around him. All those foolish enough to approach him are utterly annihilated by his awesome presence. Acts entirely like a Vortex grenade, yet uses the large blast as a radius.
If a double is rolled then it is assumed that Chuck Norris has lost all interest in the events surrounding him, and blasts off superman-style to another battle somewhere in the galaxy.

Well, two things here. Ien befar lawk
Second, you are now playing the game. You can not win the game, only lose the game. If you think about the game, you lose the game. You can only lose the game once every 30 minutes. When you lose the game, you must announce that you have lost the game. The point of the game is to get everyone in the world playing the game.

Darth Vader needs 2+ armor save and a 3+ invulnerable save. The power of the Dark Side is immense.
He should also have the ability to Leap in the movement phase [basically lets him move 6+D3" as if Equipped with a Jump Pack], and he also needs to have few more powers: Force Throw [a weaker shooting attack that lets him use the force to throw objects at a unit] as well as his lightsaber throw.
He should be granted Furious Charge, Feel No Pain, Acute Sense [the force], Preferred Enemy [Against other Jedi Only] Fearless, Counter Attack. Yep.
