Subject: Belated greetings to Dakka Dakka

Guess if I don't want be a 'Free Company Reject' forever, I need to quit lurking and make some posts.
I have recently started playing 40K (again) and also (even more recently, but now primarily) WFB.
I had previously, briefly played 2nd edition 40K back in the early 90s, mostly with borrowed models. Did end up with the starter box, the 'Dark Millennium' expansion, a few more Ork models and a handful of chaos daemons/marines before we stopped playing. We may have actually played as many or more games of Epic scale though (for which I owned no models). Fond memories...
>>2010 (and they just keep dragging you back in...) Daughter's boyfriend and his brother split the AoBR box and next thing I know, I'm putting together a CSM battle force. After which we found the FsortaLGS, complete with WFB players.
Since, as a genre, I actually like fantasy better, I now have the BRB, an Empire army and just purchased a small, nicely painted HE army.
Apart from the aforementioned HEs, the rest of my armies are in various stages of being painted... the most common being the still grey plastic stage.
Pretty much my life story in a nutshell, or at least the war gaming parts of it. So, hello Dakka and see you around the boards
