What hobby stuff have you lost over your years of gaming/collecting?
Lost is defined as.....well lost, sold, given away, misplaced, stolen etc.
Lets roll out dem woes
I really regret losing my Space Crusade stuff, I loved that game and would kill for my original copy. Made doubly frustrating since I still have my full Heroquest/Battlemaster sets.
I cant recall how one survived and the other didnt but have a feeling it was the old parental clear out some year, way back when......

I had a massive 2nd Ed Epic Ork army that my grandmother gave away to a charity shop when I went away to Uni and was out of the hobby for a while.
Took me a fair chunk of money to build an equivalent replacement too...
I hear you about the Space Crusade/HeroQuest stuff - I too had HeroQuest with all expansions up to and including 'Against the Ogre Horde' and trying to get a complete copy of that now is an expensive endeavour.

Entire 2nd Edition collection passed on to a mate to sell, never saw the models again or any money. Some suspiciously familiar metal Wraithguard did show up in the FLGS second hand section a while late though. If there was an Eldar or Space Marine model people get misty eyed over, it was probably in there.
Both Realm Of Chaos books, "tidied" into Oblivion by my parents, yet somehow a bunch of worthless books I have no attachment to from the same time still reside on a shelf in their spare bedroom.

Games Day FW Slann model. Lost it in a house move at some point.
My previous DG army that I sold off around 5th ed. So many conversions. Got major sellers remorse from that one... To a lesser extent my Nurgle Daemons, Blood Pact, Kroot Merc and Nurgle LATD armies.
My pre release Balrog with metal wings. Sold it (with all of my other LOTR stuff) for next to nothing. Why?

I regret selling off my old Battletech models - about 30 or so “unseen” metal mechs and a couple dozen vehicles, and they were all painted.
Strangely, I also deeply regret getting rid of my old G.I. Joe 3 3/4” figures and vehicles, as I’ve come to realize I could put together a wargame using those figures (something Kill Team sized) or just futz around with them in my spare time. At one time, between my brother and I, we had everything from 82’-86’, short of the U.S.S. Flagg and the Defiant space shuttle.

Just reading this thread is bringing tears to my eyes. In my case, I sold off about forty pre-Big hat, pre-Marauder Chaos dwarves. I'm slowly picking them back up fron FB trading groups, but it's costing me a lot more than I got when I sold the first lot.

For me, it was Battletech also. I joined eBay specifically in 1999 to sell off my collection, which included pretty much everything FASA published, and dozens of Ral Partha Mechs. Including many, many, many Unseen. Out of all the stuff I've had over the years, that's pretty much the one I can look back and say 'I wish I hadn't done that... :('.

Third edition starter box. Fourth edition rulebook. Fifth edition starter box. A whole heap of White Dwarfs from the 90s. Sega Megadrive, Playstation 1, Playstation 2 and a whole heap of accompanying games. I'm pretty sure my Mum dumped my 150 EUR wetsuit when I moved back home briefly a couple of years ago. As an honourable mention, my friend's dad threw out his final year high school yearbook a few years ago. He had the signatures of literally every single student in our year, even ones he didn't like. I can appreciate the pain he feels for that.

I got a kitten(now a cat) her fav pastime is, pushing models and other items of tables. Chewing on models and toys. Getting into boxes and cases with miniatures in them.
Scratching books, for some reason she likes hardcover the most>.< grey knights and demon bits are still found on my floor after years.
I also had a dingo chew up a land raider :(
Friend sat on my sisters of battle, after he put them down on the chair.
I gave away a Eldar army when I quit the first time, it was my first army. So I kind of wish I could have redone at least all the metal minis. Only the tanks and guardians where plastic.
Dwarf army got sold.
Wood elf army got melted in the sun(thanks dad)
I think at one stage I had everything for Mordheim, and inquisitor was awesome fun. Both are gone now. I think trashed after broken. Maybe bits in bits box. But did pick up the books again this year.
Oh, 3 days ago the cat decided my charity minis had to be investigated and tested. One is snapped in half :(
Cat jumped 7foot onto a plastic tub where my new war machine farrow army was drying after 100 hours painting. She is adorable, so she gets away with a lot.
I also have a reall issue dropping one guys minis, like seriusly if I am going to drop one, it’s his. In like 10 years I have dropped 5 minis, and everyone has been his. I am like the least likely person to drop one, unless he hands me one...
I also had a bunch of terrain disappear moving. Was something like 2000$ worth of unbuilt terrain for a village board. Just no idea where it went.
Bit of a scatterbrain post lol. Probably some I do not remember.

I told my parents to give away all my 1st edition WH40K and Space Hulk stuff when I was at uni. I don't think I'd actually use any of it now, but my miniatures did include the original metal Imperial Space Marine Although I didn't even like the model at the time, I now realise it's significance

An entire 3000 point wood elf army in 1995 (The box was stolen off my front porch as I was moving house).
Tossed away several space crusade sets (because the game just wasn't a patch on spacehulk). The miniatures were naff (except for the chaos dreads) and the bin was too good for them, really.

I had two cases stolen from the back of my car. The had a complete run of marauder villagers and dungeon quest metal miniatures, All my 3rd edition talisman miniatures.
I am sure the person that stole it thought they where getting something good, but once opened it was a bunch of little metal figures.. Probably ended up in a dumpster some where.

I once found my army case (full) on the steps of the multi storey car park while returning to my car from an evening at the FLGS.
My puzzlement was cleared up when I got back to my car and saw the back open. The thieves had stolen my rear speakers and clearly grabbed the case, opened it, found what they thought was rubbish and just left it behind.
Lost some ancient speakers I inherited with the car, kept a substantially higher value of minis thanks to criminal stupidity.

Stolen allways so sad :( since it is so likely they did end up in a dumpster.
Thankfully I have only lost a empty case to such a thing, annoying since it was a new case. But not the army I wanted to put in it.

Took a while to think of something. I still have everything I've ever bought. I've never traded or sold a miniature outside of a few duplicates that I didn't need (I ended up with 3 Nurgle Heralds from 3 Start Collecting boxes, so I sold one to a friend). There are models I've wanted (titans and whatnot), but they're not regrets or anything like that. These are more things that I've missed out on. But there are two things I regret not getting: 1. Sergeant Centurius. I remember when he was released. I could have gone to my local GW and purchased him. I decided too late that I wanted him, and by then he was gone. "But he's all over eBay?" Yes, I know. And I also always make the joke that there are more Sergeant Centurius models on sale now than GW ever produced. He might be one of the most re-cast minis GW has ever put out, and whilst I generally don't care about recasts I do want a real Centurius. 2. Imperial Guard Command Tower "What?" This thing: It was, I think, the last of the cardstock terrain pieces GW put out from the batch that included the Firebase and the Bastion. I wish I had this one, and many moons ago found an eBay auction for one. This was in the days before 'Buy It Now', and I was distracted by a conversation over ICQ (I'm that old) and missed the end of the auction. *sigh*
