Try seeing if there's a macro function on your camera (it might have a flower as its icon).

From what I can make out, it looks alright though. Can't provide much constructive criticism because of the image quality though.

A better pic would help, but the mini does look to be at least TT standard from what I can see.

Hope that helps. Also, he needs basing appropriately, but seems fine apart from that.

Try to get even light across the model andmake sue the light source isn't too close. You may want to look for tutorials for making a lighting box as they are easy to make and are a great help.

From what I can see it looks above tabletop.

The picture looks like it has decent quality, it is just the lighting. Another problem is that it is so dark on such a bright background. By the shadow the light source is coming from behind and would only add to the problem. Instead try to have a gentle light source off to the sides and maybe a more neutral backdrop would help out as well. If this fails then maybe try taking the picture outside using the natural light to full advantage.

Though from what I can see it is at least table top quality. I can kind of make out what looks like some highlights on the edge of the armour and the gem as well. But they are still too dark to see it clearly.

I will try using the techniques from the article, also the basing is non existant, as i have ordered the temple bases from micro art studio, and i still need to get collect them from my FLGS....

I was talking about http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/temple-bases-round-25mm-p-134.html?cPath=3_27 these

The picture is still too dark to tell.

Your camera is metering for the white background, which makes the black model very black.

Set your EV adjustment to +2 and take another picture. Otherwise, force the flash to shoot.

Going by what I can see I'd say its fine for table top quality, but its really hard to tell as its such a dark shot.

Okay, I took the liberty of lowering the contrast and adjusting the brightness to get a better look. It appears you have a green tabard, some red jewels, silver shoulder pads and elements on the gun as well as some white runes. That more than satisfies the requirements for TT quality (usually listed as 3 colors). The only thing I would question is the base. It looks like you just painted it glossy black or did nothing at all. Highly recommend you add a base. It will look best with something contrasting, like maybe a lighter grey wasteland/urban or a jungle base.

Cheers.

I like what you've done. The mini is easily TT standard, I would be more than happy to see them across the table from me.

Yes that looks like table top quality to me. Once you add the bases it should really look good.

Technically, as you hit the 3 color minimum that's most commonly used as a measure of "tabletop," I'd say yes.

If you're thinking of selling something like this as Tabletop quality, though, I think you'll need to pick out more of the armor edgings to get most people to agree to that.

Yeah, then. For a personal collection, they're fine for "tabletop."
I only asked because people who pay for commision work want a LOT for their money.
