I suspect the current Tycho model might have been homage to this one, anyone else noticed the similarities?

Glory to the Twelfth! Glory to Angron!

‎"Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls. The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does. That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

The captain cleaned up well, but I'm not a fan of the massive nipples on him myself, but I'm sure when you paint him up he'll look great Ifalna!

Hes got that lumpy bumpy surface again - This is what I have to put up with being a collector of rogue trader! Lumpy metal. Maybe if you carefully rub liquid GS into his surface you might get smoothness. Or just go at him with the smallest dremel attachment.

Give him a light spray with a gloss varnish, that might do it.

He's the original Blood Angels Captain model (not Dante!), which was used in the 2nd edition battle report when Tycho first appeared. Erasmus Tycho was taken out in the game by a Weirdboy, which is why his character is as he was in the setting - and, presumably, why his sculpt does have a strong resemblance to this older model.

Some amazing stuff just arrived in the mail from Dysartes, I will get shots at work!

Christmas busyness coupled with my boss (only other worker) having an extreme chest infection has left me literally working my rear off so I have not so much as looked at a paintbrush in a week, I'm getting withdrawal shakes D: NEED TO PAINT.

Have tomorrow off so want to get the lord and Bete finished up, for serious!

They translate to me slapping my hand into the keyboard out of rage

Dysartes has forwarded me on some really awesome Hasslefree mini's, I've not seen anything from this company before and they are AMAZIN.

Privateer Godwin, LOOK AT THOSE SHADES. This guy doesn't even care about his own terrible fashion sense.

This is clearly Tina Turner from Thunderdom, and no one is allowed tell me otherwise.

This is a little geisha lady who's dress is very detailed but isint showing that well in the shots, shame. Her name is Hanako.

Sana, lovely barb lady, I'll have to get a better shot.

And my favourite, a tiny tiny witch named Heyu

Weety that would be implying I can match your 80's skillz, which I have no way to do so. It wouldn't be a competition, it would be a shame fest and I would have to leave the internet 4everz.
