Yeah I may go with Plasma cannons, or get a PDF from FW on some of the new radiation based weapons.
Theo, you are sounding heavily loaded up.

Grey is a decent color for things. Speaking of Jungle commandos, I has some old metal Bauhaus ones from Warzone: The Mutant Chronicles from the late 1990's before they collapsed. Oddly Bauhaus and Eisenkern go well together.

Miniature Market has some left, but I fear the savings due to the clearance would be offset by the international V.A.T., but if you look into it, as 15USD it may still be a bargain Tax included! Of course it comes pre-painted, some of the lenses show signs they were slapped in on the things in haste, and I don;t want to try to rip them out and reglue them for fear they will break and leave me with no lenses!

Based on the layout, this machine would need side-mounted internal radar or other sensors as there are no vision ports on the side, and even the front seems to work with sensors/radar/cameras, etc. If it was mounted on wheels or tracks, it would still be a big machine, so still riding high as it is now.

Yeah it is a big beasty and is intimidating
It is a heavy anti armor walker using two G.R.A.S.E.R. beams, which rip apart things in AT-43,,,for 40k? Maybe some form of the new Forgeworld radiation based weapons, or something really nasty.

Thanks guys! I am glad they make it on the approval ratings of my fellow Dakkaites!
Yepper, the Kruegerians have the special place in the Union as having the best troops for the most audacious missions covered. Dire-Wolves are a Kill Team,,,Nacht Jagers in older Hussar armor and the newer Stormer armor compete to see which is the better sneak ops. Mountain Jagers for hard to reach places Hussars and stormers for taking and holding the most stubbornly defended objectives, and Jungle Kommandos for the worst jungles.
Other troops have different traditions, but I am sharing the Kruegerians and their place in the Union.
The core Khadrovian troops and Vasili's bunch are good all rounders and handle anything with simpler ease, and many times lesser armor.
The Frigians are the lords of arctic-style warfare.
the Caskraineans are woodland huntsmen and trackers, no one escapes them!
The 3 great coat triangle of Tyarvetsia, Arkeletsya, and Murmanskya are out right assault troops.
the Amexadians are great patrollers and garrison troops
just to name a few of the more renowned units

The general is wearing a very different system from the others, the mask and support system is a rare one used only by those who can afford the custom fit. His carapace armor is designed to also allow view of the blood stripe trousers that are also part of his rank, along with the power sabre, and unique customized armor design. (he is a resin fig from Kabuki studios in Italy.) Whereas the Colonel uses what the men do, to the most part, and while wealthy enough to afford a custom armor and mask system as the General wears, he chose to wear the standard issue armor and mask of his men, sharing in their comfort/discomfort and earning the respect and admiration of the soldiers.
The General earns respect and admiration from his leading from the front unlike most generals, and that he uses strategies and tactics that allow the troops to accomplish missions as if they were phantoms, striking one area, and moving out before retribution only to strike where they were not expected to be. This has earned the 144th the nickname "Phantom Regiment 144". This is because the General prefers mobile, fluid warfare over set piece, dug in battles that last months when he can do things in days.

Oh the banner does have built in cheat pf molded ensign lines and cross, I added the Imperial Aquila in the yellow field, I chose to use the colors I felt fit the theme of the troops.

Most folks love them some walkers,
Now, the mobile platoon carrier, MBTR- LP-50 this one is the "A" model which has twinlinked laser cannons in the high turret and has 2 sponson mounted battle-cannons, 2 sponson, and one forward mounted heavy stubbers, it can carry a platoon of up to 30 men with a command squad making it capable of carrying a total of 35 men, 15 Ogryn troops, or pair of goliath remote bomb units.

Vehicles look better with supplies and kind of "lived in"
Oh the story will be added soon. Basically, the adeptus Mech biologis of the colony ship that landed the folks of the Republic of Volg were using DNA-retroviral aterial to make service animals, based on a Lupine animal, these will be the wolf like one holding the knife as a result of the Biologis' handicraft in such genetic splicing. humans who were bitten have the ability when either enraged or force of will, can become the big guy holding the shotgun and make excellent troops. Of course, they are now listed as abhumans, and as such, well, they have to work harder to "prove themselves" and they are usually kept away from engaging in relations with normal humans. so the Weres and Luporian troops are a dangerous force.

Still no internet, which is one of the biggest reasons for not being here on dakka for so long, but i did recently find out that My new phone allows me to access the sight.
Do you remember the discussion we had a long time ago about looting a drop pod the right and proper way for Orks? Well, good news i actually finished it, and now have an Ork super heavy looted drop pod tank. Currently, its at the paint shop, hopefully, will be done within the next month or so. Do you remember the discussion we had a long time ago about looting a drop pod the right and proper way for Orks? Well, good news i actually finished it, and now have an Ork super heavy looted drop pod tank. Currently, its at the paint shop, hopefully, will be done within the next month or so. I can post a pic of it If you like and give permission to do so.

Awesome haul. I really like my own antipode and dog soldier guys.
The funny thing about Infinity, I'm not even sure if that's a boarding shotgun. They have this really awkward thing they do with tags and other larger scale models where the gun is physically 2-3x (or more!) the size of the same thing an infantry would have...but exactly the same stats. When you eject your Iguana TAG pilot and he becomes a heavy infantry with the same gun? Gun is half the size =/
I'm a little jelly of that E' dak P'mera or whatever his name is. One of the few deadzone things I didn't get.
And those Jovian Hammers, gotta love truescale not-ogryns
68139
Post by: Barzam
At least in the Anaconda's defense, that actually is the TAG's gun the pilot is holding. In that case, there is artwork showing that there are attachments that go over the regular Spitfire that scale it up to TAG sizes. I believe that it's actually true for the Iguana as well.
I'm jealous of you guys actually working on your Devil Dogs. I still can't bring myself to work on mine.
70053
Post by: GrimDork
So wait, it mentions in the fluff that the giant ass guns they give the tags are just the regular (admittedly oversized) weapons regular soldiers have with a 'TAG hands' friendly resizer? Huh. I guess that makes some kind of sense.
68139
Post by: Barzam
Yep. If you look at the lineart, there's attachments that beef up the weapon and extend the grips and mags. I don't think it's true for all TAGs though. The details of the man-sized HMG are definitely there on the Iguana's gun though.
70053
Post by: GrimDork
Huh. Well maybe their design is like... 75% less stupid then. I was thinking the giant combi-rifles on the Geckos were just..silly. I mean, I still don't get why they wouldn't just give the Gecko a man sized HMG or something even bigger instead of a big-hands upgrade kit... but I feel less awkward about the sizing as long as there's SOME reasoning

Unlike the GW IG getting weapons better suited to Power Armored SM hands!
the Jovians have just the 5 heads, I suppose if I got more, I could shave the burns off the one head, not sure what else to do with the others than skin tone changes, maybe greystuff a beard.

Well, the harness shows he is with the same team, not a wild one. (Not sure how they manage that). But yes, if used for my army of IG, they are a half human/half wolf Genetor-Magos-Biologis project.

2326
Post by: shasolenzabi
SebastionSynn wrote:Wolves are looking good shaso. Since I've missed sho much, how about a recap of why the wolf troopers.
Recap: as the Khadrovian Union of United Republics seeks out planetary nations started by colony ships of the Khadrov colonist force from 10k years ago, they all had the Book of Khadrov, and had a red star marking so that they may find each other and know that they were of the same roots. So in time they find each other, and make the Union more potent bringing any tech they retained or re-discovered in the data-banks of their own formation of resident Tech-Adepts, in the case of the Volg republic, they had a gifted Arch Magos Biologis, they needed something better than servitors to help rapidly scout and map the new world they landed on, so he went with a odd idea that has left it's mark in two ways
He may have been a bit insane, no one knows for sure, but he knew they had some DNA from a Lupine species that were in cryo-storage, but he only could activate it with human host cells, he used some technology that then was available, but now would be likely sanctioned, who knows? he merged human and wolf features and made the Luporians which are more a wolf with hands and human intellect, they can speak to a degree, but can also draw maps, read directions and write, as well as use close combat weapons as they do not seem to like the loud noise of shooting weapons. As he had used a retro-viral approach, the Luporians if cranky can inject their saliva via a bite, and once that happens, children born to bitten/infected women the Luporians bit have a stranger abhuman mutation (this is how I was able to make an Infinity/ WH40K crossover unit! ), these abhumans at first seem normal, a little bigger, a little more aggressive than their fellows, but when angered, they can at will shift themselves to the massive, hulking, Ogryn sized Dog-Soldiers.
As can be seen, the Dog-Soldiers will still wear a uniform and armor, and will use all manner of weapons, as seen with the shotgun in that troopers hands. others of his kind will wield other weapons such as hand cannons and large knifes, others are known to wield rifles as if they were pistols ( as they are now big enough the weapons are smaller in the hands of the Dog-Soldier aspect fo these soldiers, they will also fight literally "tooth-n-Nail" if all else fails and they are left with no weapons as they ARE weapons!
That now dead Arch-Magos-Biologis would be very pleased with the way it all turned out.
The Volg Republic is still made up more of Humans, but these two examples and another human/wolf Hybrid which are more human with some slight changes are the last of the effects of the experiments to try and re-create the original, but the people of Volg are normal people, unless a Luporian bites someone's mom.
Other Volg technology is still pretty standard stuff, so units of elite troops and the occassional odd tech, plus the Luporian/Dog-Soldiers as well as the mentioned half-breeds will be their contribution, albeit the unease of non-Volg troopers upon seeing the hairy troops from Volg, so they get to go for advanced attacks into the enemy rear areas, so they all have "scout" and flanking rules.

Vik! Good to see you are still alive!
they are still using my block style, woodland camo similar to the Catachan/Caskrainean Republican forest troops, but the wolfies are from the Republic of Volg, so different Republic of the Union. Sorry for any confusion Vik.

Thanks, he is mostly looking the best, but I am still unhappy with the eyes, will redo the black, then yellow on both, I need to touch up the nose for the red one, and add that scar. Next I may not do elaborate tattoos, but at least a Imperial Eagle should be on the scarred one. LOL!

Okay, time now for some size comparisons with the other minis!
Ariadna (Republic of Volg) wolfy, and Jovian Hammer known as Fenix. We all know both are big fellas. the 58th have male and female soldiers, and the height difference is notable in that squad lone, then we see them compared to much larger soldiers
[/img]
[/img]
even a few mm behind them, Fenix towers over the 58th
[/img]
Same with "Two-Guns"
[/img]
Even their bulk is notable
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
Then posed with Two-Guns when he is calm, behind them, he seems their height
[/img]
Next to the female Pvt and the Colonel, he shows his height more
[/img]
[/img]
Big strapping trooper!
With Der Hoff, similar height, but he looks bulkier with the ballistic glove-suit and carapace as opposed to their high tech powered armor
[/img]

True, the armor is more close fitting than other armors, similar in ways to the Samaritans in Sedition Wars.

Yep, the Hammers are small compared to the Dogfaces. like kids in comparison!
the minis are metal, and one molded, so no fiddly bits to mess with. Can't wait for the 109th minis in their carapace suits.

Post by: shasolenzabi
So, I thought that the soldiers of the 58th had familiar parts, and I got out 2 Sedition Wars troopers, and compared them, the SW troops I call Valorians, and they are also a slim set of humans.
[/img]
The females size up about right, and the helmets of the Lt and the female SW trooper look very similar, I think Kev from Hasslefree had to have helped them with sculpt work.
[/img]
the males
[/img]
Similar under armor "muscle" bundles
[/img]
[/img]
But as can be seen, many differences between the armor designs.
Coming soon, I took a break from Wolfies for everyone's favorite murderous space simians, Morats. For the people's of the Pearl Strand, they are a mystery race, raiding outposts, small colonies, and un-escorted trade ships. On walls attesting to their savage butchery, scrawled in the victims own blood, by their hands identify their assailants.... Ga' Morla.
Violent and as savage as any Ork force, but with the technology as comparable to that of the Tau! A major threat to all, yet they have not done more so far than small raids, no massed fleets, no major army landings, and always little left behind. Either way, the Ga' Morla are growing as a new bogey-man of the Strand worlds.

Blister packs for the males, who happen to be really tall! they are an actual head over humans! Spehs-Muhreen-monkeys!

The one guy in heavy powered armor is big enough to warrant a 2+ save,,,,yeah S4/T4/I4 they are deadly. But as they like to get to grips with their prey/enemy, BS3 seems decent. WS4 as they prefer that. another unit will be all about a higher WS. good thing they have limited numbers so far! They will cause no end of problems if they get past pirate level raiding.

I still have to finish up the wolfies somewhat and seal them. Hasslefree I need to know what color hair to give the Lt.
But I have some unusual armor colors to work with, and I may add silver to them to metallic them a bit. Skin wise, I was thinking something along the lines of this and then, hair going darker with purplish or stay with the white hair as normal. but a grey/purple skin.

Tricky to tell what effect the paint mixtures have from the photos.
Have you tried diffusing your lighting; put some tracing / tissue paper in front of the lamp. It'll help make the light less harsh. This is half the purpose of a light-box.

I am thinking that I may use the adamantium black for the armor, with added markings in red or other color. the sea color for fabric.

And with CB re-sculpting to finer detail work, I am very impressed with the work going from a bit cartoonish to serious, and near realistic, like revamped video games. Redundancies? Oh well, the one set has the Oznat posed differently standing on a outcrop of rock. Min is walking gracefully in a menacing way. Older Morat sculpts looked as if they were wearing a mask of a face, and then it was that I thought of it, and saw that was supposed to be their face!
But yeah, definitely feel the missing part is her "Hungries". Folks may think the Ga' Morla are shadowing the Tyranids!

I have the mixes of dark and bright, I was thinking a different scheme, but then the present one kind of leapt out on it's own kinda. Like they feel they are such great hunters that subdued colors are not needed, they will catch you anyway! I also wanted to do a skin/hair based off the latest Voltron badguys.

"normally" when (the metaphorical) you paint a model, they will get a couple of main colours for things like armour/cloth, skin/clothes, etc. and then they will get small items painted in a contrasting, bright colour; a "spot" amongst the bulk colours.
For example, a space marine's eye lenses.
It's often the 3rd colour in a basic 3 colour paint job.
With these, you have gone for all the colours.
Which would look odd on a SM or guardsman.
These, however, look "different".

That she has to lead the Hunt pack by taking the place of the Alpha, becoming the Alpha by killing their Alpha and eating it's heart and guts in front of the pack, then making part of her armor and weapons using the parts from the old Alpha, shows how brutal the Morats can be.

The purple hair with highlights is looking good so far.
And the backstory on the figure is interesting, since I'm not overly familiar with Infinity's in-depth fluff. I've just read some on the basics.

The Corvus Belli site has their store, and the images link to some back story
Kornak is from group that was almost made extinct, and he came from the lower ranks and much adversity to be the most potent warrior-commander of the Morats. To make them into the 40k setting I call the Ga' Morla, I have to come up with some different fluff, although the hardest will be the Oznat and the Hungries.

The Morats are so ruthless as to make the Hungries their hunting/scout units, so they are part of the mean spiritedness if the space simians. And as they stand taller than SM captain from Black Reach, they may well be the equivalent of the ape-like Halo guys of the covenant. The Brutes I think they are referred to.

Well, actually they are closer to chimpanzees/Gorillas than actual monkeys, but seems the Infinity Community calls them "Murder Monkeys", LOL!
For my 40k background for the "Pearl Strand Sector", the Ga' Morla are a fearsome mix of Tau(Tech), Space Marines(Strength/toughness, tactical ability), and Orks(ferocity and cunning) Balanced by the fact that they have not appeared in groups big enough to be a full army, Kill Teams so far, and if I collect enough, small combat patrols,,,,,Hmm, 17 minis so far including their pets, so capable of a skirmish, no vehicles or support yet. I have a scheme, something different! (For the Hungries that is!)
I am going to paint them in a stone with weathered stone pattern with some areas painted in either lichen like greens, or and browns, a real "blended to environment" color scheme, not a usually bright color.

Armored boots landed on the soil of Vargalios-VII Outpost world. The blue-steel clad troopers moved efficiently and swiftly. "Commander, we have secured the outpost, there are no living sentients."
"Retrieve any data storage and pict -footage, the Inspector General wants to know what happened and who did this, the system here is in a sensitive area between the Union and several other power blocks. this will not make things smooth between all of the blocks."
Soon, the information was aboard the Inspector General office Battleruiser, and Inspector General Romanov was reviewing it. Finally, after many months of reports of such attacks he had some idea what he was dealing with. Within the week his ship had come to the meeting being held so that some reasonable accord could be met, the dignitaries had assembled and some of the Inspector General personnel were seated. Thumping down to the meeting in his gilded Powered Armor, his face stern, he entered the massive doors silently swinging open to let him in. His Soldierly escort ceased outside and waited.
All waited with baited breath. "Gentle folks of this assembly, as we all are aware, we have all been accusing each other of outposts ravaged, colonies destroyed, and ships left adrift and all with no one left behind to explain anything." he said letting that stand. the crowd murmured.
When they simmered down he spoke. "Yes, all suspicious, all ready to fight, but now we have proof that none of us is responsible!" the crowd erupted, accusations of cover up and lies shouted back and forth between the assembled sub groups. A gavel pounded, and shushed the crowd
"The first wave in images will be disturbing, it took us some study to ensure that the creatures are not Tyranids, and they are being handled by someone wearing what appears to be their own body parts, at first she may seem Human, but her footwear and actual skin tone says otherwise,", he said, letting it sink in, and then produced the images
"Exhibit A, their first wave of a large scale hit, unlike most of the past attacks this was a fairly large sized outpost and observation station"
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
"As can be seen they attack fast with smoke launched by the female carrying the unusual wear and weapon, the design is unknown in our spheres, so they are Xenos." Romanov said. He had their attention now.
"As can be seen here, the attack were at this section of the outpost, the garrison fought a team in powered armor. the Amexadian garrison was unable to stop them closing in and engage in close combat, where the xenos were exhibiting great strength and power in their fighting."
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
"The next images will show a single heavy armored xenos take out a full ten man squad alone, again a combination of firepower we have not seen before with armor technology superior to the garrisons'"
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
"As you can all see, a massive brute, and apparently in the same class of armor and size of a Terminator Marine."
"Here we see what appears the main and final wave, Officer and specialist classes mixed in with regular troops, and all more than a match for the poor garrison troops."
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
"These creatures show traits of a Simian, a Primate, powerful, savage, yet intelligent and with some form of culture for war.
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
"The aggressiveness of Orks, with the power and tactical cunning of Marines, and technology bordering between Space Marines with their power and Tau level Technology, that combination alone is a potent threat." he searched the room. "But based on a warrior and hunting culture, they are not just collecting test subjects to study, but they are taking them as trophies and food."
The room erupted.
"We are looking at a new xenos threat, and they are getting bolder as they hit larger targets, security must be set to a full alert level, and that we must hunt them down and discover if they are a small raiding force, or are they are large empire making their move? Our agents are investigating as we discuss this

Thank you, I just feel my work adequate for tabletop gaming, not award winning stuff. Just to look good when they get to play.
Oh yes, I have a ton of them to catch up and paint on, they were the UAMC troopers from the line of Defiance Games, that company that collapsed due to mismanagement, the guy who started it, well while a nice guy to message seems to not get that all his ideas can be implemented as he thought, and things went sour, they also had Chinese Empire space infantry for a while, (resin), with resin issues. The UAMC are plastics. I bought basically a whole company of the soldiers and do use them as part of the IG force I have. They are troops from the Republic of Amexadia, a member state of the K.U.U.R. it is all in my fluff.

Besides the Xenos for hire, I have also gotten back to work on the 5-man operative team for the power block known as "The Alliance" as they were needing some detailing and such. still more to go on the team of operatives, but they have the best tech possible.
Each of the operatives comes from one of the five worlds of the alliance, which is made from five star systems of worlds. So each color of the uniform under the armor which stays the same for all as symbolic of the "Alliance" covering all five of them.

Okay, I have assembled the BoS figures that represe4nt the differences between FO-3 and FO-4 interpretations of Powered armor. In FO-3, the suits were more like simple skins/clothing picks, in FO-4, they are bnigger, more vehicle like, albeit like a 1-man/woman sub compact car you slip into and pilot. So Brother Vinni minis and Dust Germans with brother vinni heads makes for the larger T-60 like armor.

Okay, listening to old music of WW-2 Russia as I start dredging out the pics of the BIGGEST of my tanks and APCs for my army. Starting with the mobile infantry support tank #102 as it searches the ruins of a city on a unnamed world [/img] Titan Hunter # 142, a machine that has taken out Xenos heavy vehicles and a cursed titan [/img] # 010, a venerable line breaker superheavy that has survivd many a harsh doling out of punishment by many enemies. [/img] #300, a Khadrov pattern Malcador defender tank that has also scored some decent xenos kills [/img] # 104, another large Linebreaker with tank hunting capability with the annihilator pattern turret with twin-linked las-cannons. [/img] # 111, a multi-turret machine giving a ride to infantry to get to the front faster, adorned with a banner of faith on the back of the top turret [/img] # 59 a classic Valdor pattern Tank and titan hunter using the Neutron laser [/img] Objekt 1020 once approved may see the destruction of hordes of enemy troops. [/img] #76 is a hybrid between a battle tank and APC, more a very well armed Heavy APC with a capacity for 25 soldiers, a platoon with command staff. [/img] # 52 a triple turret land battleship! also designed for crushing enemy fortifications and intimidating the enemy [/img] # 74, a Heavy tank, bigger than Leman Russ class tanks, but not as big as the others, filling an "in-between" spot and sporting a potent Vanquisher cannon to smash enemy tanks, it is a brute! [/img] The awesome power of refreshments for the troops! Machines like this though not classed as tanks are armored, and also provide Combat Cola which has amplified Caffein and other battle enhancement chems to make the troops fight at peak efficiency [/img] # 102 is a super-heavy APC that is as all amphibious, and can carry a platoon of 35 in it's belly! It has a front drop ramp to allow assaults as other vehicles of it's class [/img] Objekt 1140 Heavy APC for platoon carrying with flame support capacity [/img] APC # 140 though it carries a standard squad, is large enough to be a heavy APC/Mobile HQ/Recharge-power station. Armed with twinlinked auto-cannons, it can handle other enemy vehicles that do not bear heavy armor plates. [/img] Tank # 036 is another Vanquisher armed heavy tank with a low silhouette, making it a sneaky one! [/img] Hydra #198 sits on a chassis similar to #036, making it a Heavy AA tank. There is also a Artillery of the Medusa variety [/img] APC # 142 has been added to with rocket artillery pods, making it formidable with both a rocket launch artillery capability and it's normal quad HMG system. [/img] MTLRB-50 "land whales" Heavily armed APCs carrying 35-man platoons to battle over the most inhospitable battle fields and "No-man's lands" this one has a turret with twin-linked Las-cannons [/img] MTLRB-50 with Plasma Cannon turret [/img] Heavy APC/Gun Carriage-Vanquisher, it can easily be carrying a short barreled howitzer [/img] Baneblade [/img] Valdor-II Khadrov pattern Heavy TD/Titan hunter next to a Khadrov pattern Hydra [/img] Please note, this was just an introspective, not the full on "Parade of Strength" planned as soon as the troops are all ready and painted, I have to still also light the crusader titan. Much to do, I will be busy!!! This also did not include the walkers, but feel free to comment and state your faves amongst this list of picks.

So, I got reinforcements today for the Ga' Vra' Ku carnivorous space chimps, so first we got the new hunting beast unit, they get a new hunt-mistress
[/img]
Then the hunt mistress and some of her friends
[/img]
And a elite commando unit for one of the Sgt types to command.
[/img]
So, the boxes come out to 16minis. I have these and my Sonic Fence project to work on.

Those Hungries look incredibly dynamic. And a lot of fun! Looking forward to seeing what you do.

Took some time with the fiddly parts, but the new poses

Got started painting the Simians from hell. Starting with the basic soldiers.
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
As can be seen, they are being painted up to match the others who were more the specialists/leader types.
Now for one of the leadership types
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
that mask!, such a charming fellow, scares the heck out of his fellows with shouting and physical violence if they screw up. Just his training, and here I thought my old drill sgt was mean!

Okay, I still have to go over the armor more, and some facial touch ups, but the skin and hair base has started!
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
And the Sarge

Okay, so here we are with more images to be ogled at by folks.
The Yaogats, aka Commandos. The leader had to have those odd strands taken off his face.

Space Murder Minkies are looking great.

Thanks guys! I am thinking that s different colored skirt needs also some individualized hair, I may add some red tips and maybe pink braids , maybe a streak or two to her hair.
Meanwhile, I am also entering these sonic emitters to the competition thread
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
Now for the pylons to be cut and sorted, the emitter amps to get smoothed and a rivet strip or four added each.
More on Murder Minkies to post later. Keep watching out for that.

More work on my sonic emitters for the defense barrier.
Rivets of course!
[/img]
shrouded connectors that also protect the wiring to the emitters, they will help with connecting the emitters to the pylons.
[/img]
Pretty much what will be seen as they point to overlap their sonic disruption fields that are to stop many xenos hoards and other intruders.

Okay, I worked some more on paint last time I did hobby work. Paint was applied to the Morats/Ga' Vra' Ku raiders.

Number 1 add on trooper

Number 2 add on trooper, He seems to hate having his pics taken.

Thanks Dave! I may call them Larry, Moe, and Shemp..
Now for the heavy armored, heavy support weapon.
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
So that is my second termie scale soldier for the murderous carnivorous murder monkeys! Automatically Appended Next Post: The Sgt-major that came with the aggression force.
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
And the Yaogat commandoes
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
Support weapon for the team, a combined weapon for mass fire and heavy armor killing.
[/img]
Shotgun with Grenade Launcher for dropping smoke to sneak up behind
[/img]
Trooper with rifle
[/img]
Squad Leader, rifle with underslung anti-armor weapon, and of course a power blade.
[/img]
So the Sgt -Majors can help bolster the squads, and the Yaogats are well armored and tough as well as sneaky.

Thanks Cam! More touch ups will be done on the Killer Grape Apes from Space.
The Pylons, I need to cut the parts I intend to attach the emitters to.
Now, as was noted earlier, the Ga' Vra' Ku have armor tech comparable to all the races making armor for their troops. This heavy armor allows many capabilities for them, making them as hard to kill as any Terminator, or other Heavy Powered Armor in known space. This one is using a large, potent cannon that seems to select between a multiple shot mode that kills troops and light vehicles, or a single potent tank wrecking shot.

Now to cut the parts for the upright stands, strips for the rivets, and that helps with the terrain pieces for Loudness.
