Not a whole lot. Tactical-Spam is a few hours away from coming back.
How're you settling in? Enjoying yourself?
I've been here for a long time, dude.
In this Crusade? I've been gone about 2 days (If I'm still sane and can properly tell time) I don't qualify that as a long time and I haven't talked to you so, yeah.
He's been Ghosting for a while apparently. Or he's just TS in disguise

That was nearly entertaining. In the meantime, got a bit of free time this evening (finished my schoolwork early) and decided to kick around a new project idea:

Spoiler:
Are we going to see a full deck? Are we actually going to see the Flayed Lord in the CoF?

Yes, eventually...and yes, eventually.
The actual Legion will enter, essentially, as my second faction when it is plot-convenient. Which, given the state of Cogger, may be soon.

Is the actual Flayed Legion a group of Astartes? It might get increasingly interesting.

Good! Kageros might actually visit Crion! (And stay if I think it a good idea)
Edit: On another side note, I rolled to see if I could train the PDF at Dorn's shield on Crion, and rolled it on the dot. So Hurrah to me, I gots me some training to do.
Hmmm, just had an idea, and thought it was worth sharing, though I'm not quite sure if I'd want to act upon it.
What about an aos/fantasy crusade of fury (crusade of fury 3?), maybe set in the Old World for easier traveling? Will be very different, and I doubt anyone would want to because of the work they've put into their forces, but just a thought.

Sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh do not speak of a new crusade. Last time that happened we rushed to get this one done.
It's an interesting idea, but I'm not sure how many people have knowledge of the Old World. Also, I'll agree with TS in that mentioning another crusade isn't healthy for the current one. I do, however, see what you're saying and aren't trying to rush this crusade, but it's just a side effect of mentioning the next crusade, it seems.
Time for me weekly "I'm not dead."
I've bookmarked the CoF at work and am slowly getting through it from the start again during breaks. Ed and co are coming back, as are my boys in purple, just as soon as I manage to read up to date.

Glad to hear from you, again: no rush.
I know the old WHFB lore better than the new stuff, but yeah - no rush on that either. We've barely scraped the surface of stuff here.

Don't hurry... we are all on the slow side as of late.
Yea, I'm just finishing writing up my defeat and victory for my Guard, then Ima have to ask WK about some gak then ask you for a roll. Feth me this takes a lot of work...I like it...

Can I get some of that warp dust you've got right now because it must be strong. Who said any of my daemons had a bird head?

I thought you had a Tzeentchian greater Daemon. They have bird heads don't they? Oh, and you'll have to talk to my dealer Kaldor Draigo for the warp dust, but mind you, he has a high ass price.

Ewyrht'eikl = Chaos Undivided Daemon Prince (He's basically a copycat Belakor)
Pneuma Plagueborn = Daemon Prince of Nurgle (or Interrogator of Ewyrht'eikl)

Thats what I want you to think. It's not unheard of a Chaos Prince getting gak on by a single marine(reference Space Marine, where Titus kills Severus WITH HIS BARE HANDS). And Iodius is a Chaplain. He ain't scared of you, and like hell will he back down. What weapons does Ewyrht'eikl use anyway? Severus wasn't even a daemon prince yet and was mid transition, which makes him much weaker than an actual Daemon Prince. Also, that was Space marine, where three dudes held off an entire Ork WAAAGH, which is impossible for three Astartes.

A, It wasn't Three dudes. There were several other squads holding key points of the world
B, Severus finished the transformation as Titus killed the two Chaos Champions.

Pneuma Plagueborn = Daemon Prince of Nurgle (or Interrogator of Ewyrht'eikl)
Raak'tiil = Bloodthirster (or Hunter of Ewyrht'eikl)
The Marionette = Herald of Ewryht'eikl
Absents = Lesser Daemons of Ewryht'eikl
Ok, so I'll have an even easier time killing him. Undivided Princes should be very simple to kill.
That all depends on if he is powerful or not, and he is quite powerful.
Shouldn't matter. I will find out your name eventually, and then. I will kill you.
You do know that you need a psyker to say the name, right? And you will need time to say it... It is very, very, very long.
Who's to say that I don't have a psyker? And don't think that I won't have him/her protected. It would definitely be an eventful fight thats for certain.
Just wait until I get my next piece out. He'll be much more powerful.
Can't wait. Apparent one sided fights are Iodius' specialty.
If you try to 1v1 Ewyrht'eikl, you will get your arse royally handed to you on a silver platter with fine caviar on the side and marinated in white wine.
And, if given the chance, would he actually 1v1 Iodius, or would he send out the Bloodthirster or something to fight him?
Severus wasn't even a daemon prince yet and was mid transition, which makes him much weaker than an actual Daemon Prince. Also, that was Space marine, where three dudes held off an entire Ork WAAAGH, which is impossible for three Astartes.
A, It wasn't Three dudes. There were several other squads holding key points of the world
B, Severus finished the transformation as Titus killed the two Chaos Champions.
C, Don't doubt what three Space Marines can do.
A, From what the game showed, no, it was Titus and friends who did everything.
B, Nemeroth* never finished his ascention, this was evident. He had one huge arm and one itty bitty shrivelled up arm. That is not ascention
C, I forgot they were Ultramarines, in which case, they should have taken the whole planet in 42 minutes.
Don't hurry... we are all on the slow side as of late.
Yea, I'm just finishing writing up my defeat and victory for my Guard, then Ima have to ask WK about some gak then ask you for a roll. Feth me this takes a lot of work...I like it...
I'm waiting on Chazz for the moment... Need to actually bring in Ewyrht'eikl.
I think Iodius wouldn't mind a giant bird head mounted in his room. Go ahead, bring him in, I'll killim eventually ((hopefully)Doubt it though)
Can I get some of that warp dust you've got right now because it must be strong. Who said any of my daemons had a bird head?

A, Titus and friends only chilled in Manufactorum Ajakis and neighbouring provinces
B, Your right with this.
C, Shut up.

Wait, why would I want to even the odds? A chaplain vs A daemon prince would be a pretty kewl fight. Add in a knight, and it just gets stale.
Because. Seeing a demon prince get stomped on by something much bigger than it is mildly amusing
Seeing a knight get wrecked by beaucoup de sorcellerie would be funny.
I mean, maybe. But aren't you supposed to be an Imperial here? (at least, last time I saw you were thinking of going Inquisition). You're supposed to be on my side here.

Just because I am on your side doesn't mean I can't enjoy the prospect of your dudes eating gak from going after Daemons. Its all in the meta.

I mean, short of a Bloodthirster most demons don't stand a chance against an Imperial Knight, but I'm not in the mood to argue the point.

IF the Knights do come, I don't think A few Daemons could bring em down.

Meh. Iodius is no normal Chaplain. He has unseen amounts of rage built inside him, but thats a story for another time.
I'll be honest, but I'm with Ezra on this.
The last daemon prince took on the combined might of:
An Eldar Farseer
Her Warp Spider comrade
An Eldar Ranger
A resurrected Ork warboss
His angry daemonically possessed bike
A Chaos Sorcerer who had anti-daemon properties
An Ultramarine Acting-Captain with a sword that had significance to the daemon
And an angry Commissar.
And this was a newly ascended one.
I dread to think how a Chaplain of a decimated Chapter and with no particular daemonhunting skills would fare against a well established daemon lord with enough power to be independent.
You'll need all the help you can get.

Well we have grey knights and a inquisitor, 160 space wolves, 2-3 other marine companies, two bands of harli,s and one eldar.
Add some guard, and admech + knights....

Archarus was at a point where he was just testing out his newfound power, and still came close to killing that entire group. In all honesty, my favorite moments of Archarus are the ones post ascension. Anyway, Ewryhl'eikl won't be fun to fight. Luckily, Meenos will make things go better for the Kroot, and can help the warband survive until TS' daemons kill themselves off.

Thats funny. I never said Iodius had no experience in daemonhunting. Plus nobody really know his secret until I want them too, and I'll only do that when I deem it necessary.
Not bad? He enslaved just about anything that moved, virus bombed several planets, and was more than willing to kill his own astartes to win the battle, or if he suspected them of treason. And if we're tallying his kills, don't forget the gargant.
And TS, not all Iron Warriors are mopy sacks of sadness. Some are rather far from that, such as Honsou. Also, Archarus even renounced his primarch, cursing his name and also berating him for hiding rather than taking the fight to the Imperium.

Keep thinking that. It's not unheard of a Daemon underestimating its opponent and getting its ass handed back to it on a platter in return.

Ewryht'eikl is powerful enough to create his own lesser daemons. He is much more than a daemon.

Darn. Now I'm thinking I should've crashed a rok into the moon for my ork intro. I could've snuck in the reference that way, as some villagers, PDF, or feral orks look into the sky and watch it crash down.
You need something with a solid projectile so you can duct tape activated force weapons and then ignore most of the demon defenses. And then it gets hit by a large shell or a missile
So... bring a few Deathstrike missiles, I am going to alleviate the Grey Knights of a few weapons.

Pragmatic-ish, asking directly would lead to bad thing and has a 100% failure rate, stealing has a 99.99999% failure rate and would lead to bad things as well.

I have a strike (battle) cruiser floating handy lol
Ship fluff never came into it in end but its a mix, a fast strike cruiser on a batle cruiser hull so high speed, high transport with good aenour but not protected like a battle barge and not as agile as strike cruiser.
It was my attempt to give Rhodri a personality, to show he wasnt an donkey-cave to everyone he meets and that he just prefers the company of animals than his marine brothers. It also has showed his ambitions for even being there in the first place.
Now I just have an image in my mind of the actual knight going hunting. All the guys have their hounds and are on horseback waiting to start, and the knight tromps in, fires a few fusion cannon blasts and levels the forest.
How can a daemon prince grow to the size of a Warlord Titan anyway? I mean, Daemon Primarchs are like 5-6 times the size of a Space Marine, and I have a feeling that Erwhateverhisnameis isn't nearly as powerful. Care to explain TS?

TS doesn't exactly play by the fluff. If you saw the last Crusade he had a Sooper special ship that could kill worlds in a single shot, and it was Sooper hard to kill, and it was Sooper cool. He also had Sooper cool Assassin marines who were the greatest thing since sliced bread. Funnily enough the class of ship he had was one that I think only existed in the HH

Oh well. I guess I can see why ships are classified as NPC's this time. Shame Titans arn't.
He's already hinted one. But we'll need his True name to properly kill him, and to do that, we need the Grimoire of true names, WHICH he currently has.
War Kitten wrote: You don't necessarily need that to get rid of him. We can destroy his mortal body and banish him back to the warp for a while
His mortal body is the size of a Warlord titan. And if I recall correctly, Archarus in the previous campaign was the size of a normal Daemon Prince, and he still kicked everybodies ass. No, the Grim will make him weak, and when he is just that, he will die. For a VERY long time.

He's that big because I don't quite think TS knows how Demons work. He'd be pretty big yes, but not even Bloodthirsters are anywhere near that big. No, it's completely idiotic that TS is making a demon that big.

I know...Angron needed to erect shrines to Khorne to keep his huge mass in the material world, and as far as I know, thats why he lost. 100 Grey Knights couldn't kill Angron, and we don't have nearly as many Knights to kill something several times bigger. I think TS needs to think this through a little more.

Maybe we can ask Chazz for permission to virus bomb his butt from orbit
I don't think that would work. He'd phase back into the Warp until the planet completely dies, then he'd come back to a more suitable moon. Guard regiments wouldn't be able to invade, and there aren't nearly enough marines to Kill a Daemon legion here. I say we get the Grimoire, get the Razor of [insert name here] and we kick his Biased ass.

To be honest, we don't even know he's here yet. How Warlord Titan evades sensors eludes me, but it's a Daemon, so eh.
But when we do find out. Mark my words. You will know hell TS.

Anyway, I'm also in the 'yeah, this doesn't really work with the fluff at all' camp.
For one, being a Daemon Prince of Chaos Undivided is supposed to be impossible now unless you're Be'Lakor, Lorgar or Peturabo.
Two, manifesting a body the size of a titan would take a ridiculous amount of juice from real world sacrifices, worship and other various chaos gubbins that would be literally impossible to hide even years in advance.

Who knows, hes probably sacrificed a hundred sectors to the gods, we just don't know it.
It's not beating him that bothers me as much as the idea that we're supposed to have no idea where he is, or that he even exists, when a Daemon of that size manifesting in the materium should probably be felt by psykers across half the galaxy, that breaks my suspension of disbelief.
If you want to bring a titan-sized Daemon onto a moon, you should also accept the consequences of that - namely that titan-sized Daemons? They literally can't do subtle. Everyone is going to be aware of you.

That was my initial thoughts upon reading his chunk, eh how does he stay hidden again ?
You guys do realize that there's nothing stopping you from writing a piece where your psykers do detect a disturbance in the Warp? I mean, back in the first Crusade, a lot of people wrote about the effects the Hybrids' psychic presence had on their psykers, with all sorts of headaches and visions popping up every now and then, even if those psykers hadn't come in direct contact with them yet.
So yeah, all major psykers should probably be getting a massive headache right about now, especially the Harlies and the Eldar.
I'll sit here and wait while you think of some ridiculously complicated plan to get rid of him, all the while telling the Imperials to go plow themselves because they're filthy mon-keighs, only to eventually get railroaded by the Orks because, you know, Orks, after which the Sorcerer will facepalm and prepare himself for another round of Whack-A-Daemon.
Now if only I still had an Acting-Captain to help me out with that...
I kind of like TS's daemon, it gives everyone a reason to band together to kill him, now all we gotta do is discover this beast. Whichever imperial authority does discover him should perhaps call another meeting of imperial leaders but I feel like this will be near the end of the crusade
Hi folks, I'm not dead! Really sorry for going AWOL. I just needed some time to sort some gak out. Give me another week or so and I'll get back to writing.
Oh, and if you're looking for a way to kill a titan-sized daemon, the answer is staring you right in the face. Use the dragon.
I just read through the second one... wow. So the concept is that everyone writes their own short stories tied to eachothers stories? How do I get in on this?

Now, we have a few things to go over, as the welcome initiation.
1) On the first page you'll see a map, pick a suitable place to deploy. Do note that the roster has where others are deployed, and some places cannot be deployed on.
2) Please send a PM to Chazz or Tactical Spam about yout force, what they want out of the crusade, who the leader is, etc. Nothing too in depth, just a little outline. Tactical Spam is in charge of wildlife and the moons, while the planet is Chazz's domain.
3)Sign here, agreeing that any casualties coming from trees are not our fault, and that you will not be able to hold a trial against us for said casualties.
Sincerely, Kroot Shaper Ta'lok. (Proofread and approved by Gorgrim BadToof) Hope you enjoy your time in the crusade.
Courtesy of Blackjack but the same rules apply, Welcome friend !
1) Pick a faction you would like to be
2) Looking at the map, you can see various places you can start at. Note that a number of them are already occupied, but there are also plenty that are unavailable.
3)After coming up with a general idea of you're army, it's commander(s), etc, PM Chazz or Tactical_Spam.
Matthew wrote: I just read through the second one... wow. So the concept is that everyone writes their own short stories tied to eachothers stories? How do I get in on this?
Basically what BlackJack (didn't) say.
Treat this more like an RPG than a fiction pile - if you want to invade someone, fortify your base, search for something, etc, you give a roll to one of our GMs, who tell you how well it goes.
Developing on your faction or just writing a follow-up is free to do, and you can do what you like there. Basically, if you have any questions, ask a GM about it, and choose your faction and goals.

No, the Warpath Furnace was just a battle barge designed for the sole purpose of firepower (Sorry, I only had the HH ships to base it off of). The ship itself was slow as balls and only had decent frontal shielding, which was why it had to be escorted by other ships. If it wanted to destroy a planet, it had to destroy its guns... Which is a very bad thing for a ship whose sole purpose is to use those guns against other ships.
Hassassins were just stealthy Xenos hunters. They weren't too special outside of that. I might have played them off as if they were sooper cue-el but they were just stealthy Xenos hunters.
Edit: I would also like to point out that Warlord titans are pretty short. The Statue of Liberty in America is actually taller than him without the pedestal.

And the firepower was the most valuable thing to have in the situation. By being able to wipe out planets with impunity and capital ships in such a way, it posed a relatively unstoppable threat in the situation. And it was FAR larger than a Battle Barge. That single ship DWARFED every other ship in the sector. Against another ship of the same size, it would have had decent armour, but there were no comparable ships. Hence why I actually requested for you to leave the ship at Crusade Command as a deterrent vessel during the Crusade, so that fleet actions weren't painfully one sided. Which didn't happen. Thankfully it didn't have that much of an impact.
The Hassassins weren't the worst thing, but your portrayal of them, especially in the early stages, had them come across as Space Marines +1, using forbidden xenotech without repercussions and having an intimate knowledge of xenos better than the Deathwatch, the actual xenohunters. Might not have been your intention, but it came across as that.
Warlords might be small in regard to that, but no-one HAS anything Warlord sized in the first place. It will be utterly dominating, far more so than Archarus, who was already incredibly powerful. A Battle Barge flyby might even be needed again to weaken him. I do think he's a little overscaled, if I'm honest. Especially given the lack of a build-up or any particular explanation for being so big.
I think now would be a decent time to give my main comment regarding homebrew factions/groups: Why have I not heard of them?
The idea is basically that, if I had a homebrew Chapter of Marines (which for all intents and purposes are called the Disciples of Vengeance), who are more tactically skilled than Ultramarines, more ferocious than the Carcharodons, ride BIGGER wolves than the Space Wolves, are more perfect and aesthetic than Blood Angels, have a deep dark secret bigger than the Dark Angels, are super caring - more so than the Salamanders, stealthier than Raven Guard, best buddies with every Imperial faction, use heretical tech, and only have a few members but are all super elite, etc etc - why are these guys not displayed in the fluff? Even when they're better in every way than other Chapters, the other Chapters are the ones written about, and the Disciples are not mentioned.
In my experience, it's always better to be more subdued in why your faction is different and better. Instead of being Faction+1, make your backstory and culture more interesting. Your leader doesn't need to be the Best Swordsman, or the Best Shot, or the most/best at anything - make us sympathise and know the character, and people will respect them and like them more. The reason I've heard of the actual fluff chapters is because they probably are the best around.
Of course, this is just my experience and opinion, but in response to what seems like a bit of an arms-race regarding the CoF as it is, I think it's worth putting it out there. And this isn't directed at anyone in particular - even if your faction is well written and genuinely interesting, it's still worth having another opinion, if it helps or not.

I don't know if I said it dwarfed every ship in the crusade, but it was bigger than my own ships... I probably need to stop exaggerating in the meta.

OK! Saying he's as big as a Warlord is a little extreme. I will tone him down to somewhere between a Warhound and a Knight.

They weren't as tactical as the Ultramarines.
Nor as ferocious as the Space Sharks
Nor ride bigger things like the Space Wolves (Sorry, I wanted to have a scene where Sylus rode a dinosaur. Curse my child-like fantasies.)
Nor are they as aestheticly pleasing as the Blood Angels (Good Lord, have I described their paint scheme?)
Nor are they as nice as the Salamanders (Sylus only helped Annala because of the prophecy...)
Nor are they as stealthy as the Raven Guard/Raptors (well, the Hassassins might be)
They do hide stuff like DA though...
They aren't super elite, but still elite (Thats kind of what you get when 2/3 of your chapter is technically the "First Company")
They don't use heretical tech... Ok ok, they did briefly.
The only reason they are buddies with a lot of other faction is because of their Inquisition handlers... That's the best excuse I have.

They really weren't like that to begin with. They started as "We want to restart the Great Crusade" then turned into the Alpha Legion... Oops.
I just realized I may have written the most accurate portrayal of an obscure later Founding Chapter last Crusade.
I mean, the Death Ravens were totally forgotten about by everyone present immediately, managed to do feth-all (or at least, no-one heard of anything they did), were constantly overshadowed by the more esteemed Chapters (looking at you, Ultras and Templars) and died tragically in the few battles they were in.
Seriously, point me to anyone who's ever written a homebrew Chapter to which the in-universe response might as well have been "Wait, who?"
Upon further research, Kroot Shapers tend to have 'shamanistic' powers, such as communing with past Kroot spirits, and and using the blood of great predators to grant blessings onto his kindred. As such, he may be able to sense some of the bigger warp disruptions. So, I'm tempted to gave a scene with him meditating and feels a great evil enter the Materium (the evil being Ewryht'eikl), but not able to entirely make out what it is, because his powers wouldn't be on par with any notable psyker.
I suppose my main issue is that it seems outrageous to have Ta'lok have this type of power, but also have him able to be close to Meenos and not have a seizure. Any thoughts?

I'll be honest, I really liked the Death Ravens - even if their impact wasn't as big as some of the others.

That works well in my book - I'm not too well versed on Kroot lore, so I thought they were actual psykers! Of course, you could have a kroot who ate a psyker, or lots of them, and gained minor psychic potential?
I have no idea how I can justify Ewryht'eikl's prescence with my Tau, given their lack of a tangible soul or psychic essence. But then, it's not my problem anyways.

What if I were to tell you that some of them survived? And that they are now proud members of the Ultramarines 3rd company?

I had thought that blank and untouchable were just interchangeable terms for the same thing? I know that there's a hierarchy per se of blanks' and psykers' levels, but I never really bothered with coming up with a specific power level for Meenos, (if that makes any sense). Also, for Ta'lok's abilities, they wouldn't really be anything useful in a fight, as in no lighting shooting from his fingers or chucking fireballs and whatnot. I picture it'd be more along the lines of witch doctors, shamans, etc. He really isn't a psyker, just skimming the barest surface of the warp, if that makes any sense.
And didn't Amberley Vail call Gunner Jurgen both an untouchable and a blank when trying to explain what it meant to Cain, as one example of the terms being switched around?

A Blank is someone who is technically not in the Warp. (Ghost from Squad Talon Alpha in the Deathwatch Novel for instance)
An Untouchable is the extreme of a Blank, an anti-psyker if you will. These are your Culexes Assassins.

Aye Il send someone and some mighty wolves. How big hunt?
Scratch that actually, I have plans and it would better suit at a later stage. Sorry
Ulfric takes names off the ale barrel list on emparors day lol
Hopefully, if the right things happen to the right kind of people and if my writing is on the ball the hunt will be perfect. I mean we could have a hunt right now but Faolan would not have a hound to accompany him as his was eaten by the kroot, up to you Jhe, the ball is in your court.

True, and that's not fun.
We can wait till he gets a new hound. Sure you can get one :-)
Ok, with this newfound information, I feel like I should lay out my plans with Meenos.
I wanted him to be able to harm psykers when near them, so I guess he's an Untouchable, and also be able to make non-psykers uncomfortable, but he'd also have a nullifier for this, so the effects are dampened until he takes off the collar. This does open up my problem with me giving Ta'lok the minor abilities. I'm mainly justifying it with Ta'lok being so minor of a psyker (if he can really be called that) that he really only senses major changes in the warp, but can't tell what those disturbances mean.
Also, Smudge, it is possible for the Kroot to eat the psykers and gain abilities from that, as well as passing that gene on. And eating more psykers would make that more potent. This is also how Kroot could become blanks/untouchables. I do thank you for the vote of confidence.

Never said he would get a new hound but have no fear whoever does go hunting will have a hound accompanying them.

If you did want I could send Njord and a wolf to go hunting or maybe vioarr the wolf preist with his own to go hunting with the hounds.

Not to be a buzzkill, but it's a bit jarring to see giant walls of quotes with just a single line of text under them popping up every single post. Seeing as there's not many other people talking in the thread at the moment, I'm fairly certain the people in question will know who you're talking to without quoting them
Edit: Without the aid of a probably untameable Dragon.
I say we use the Sauron Manoeuvre.
A distraction to meet him directly in the field while a strike team sneakily gets hold of his fancy name book and ganks him with it.
Of course, the main trouble there is the distraction part: namely, gathering enough fighters that can actually contribute to a fight on that level. Even your average Space Marine captain would be pretty insignificant in that kind of throw-down.

Hmm... quick, someone get a Fire Warrior written by Phil Kelly! Or a Space Marine written by... just about any BL author ever! Apart from Imperial Fists. Don't bring any Imperial Fists. They've got, like, the opposite of plot armour and bringing one here will inevitably wipe out practically their entire chapter.
Seriously, though, I imagine a straight fight with that chap would get rather hairy. We'll need all the giant beasties, mecha and robots we can get our hands on or sic him with, backed by every hardcore Daemon-slayer we've got.

Bad news. The piece I spent the last week working on got deleted last night. Over 4000 words gone, and it was for my Guard. So Ima just scrap the entire thing because my brain cannot handle writing that much again, and I'm going to write something with my Space Marines.
Also, my marines are Imperial Fist Descendants, so expect my chapter to get completely wi-...I've said too much...

Word. I shoulda used Docs, but I found my internet connection was too dodgy for it to function, so I typed it on Word. Last night I looked at my computer and EVERYTHING was gone. It autosaved about 100 words in. Turns out my computer over-heated even when I had three fans cooling it.
