what I feel is the ideal chaos marine army. What I mean by this is that its verstile against any foe. I would choice Undivided any day. the reasons behind it is because when going against muiltuple armys you need to be versetile. To have good toughness against a assulting foe. To be also cutting down those 3 plus save armys with thousand sons. To out attack eldar. to be faster then the green horde. Then be mass of amounts undivided against the Hammer of the imperium. Tell me what you think.

I watching this one battle report, Chaos marines thousands sons vs Nids and Im like ok nids are going to win. the game was like 2500 pts. The reason why is because the player has all this squads that are 23 some pts for a model. Like Im thinking to myself really? When playing nids the player has to be careful on how they go about fighting nids and that means rastion your points as much a possible. so the person playing nids or even IG can have more things to go around and just using on some troops? And the chaos player did lose

If you want a "Anything you can do I can do better" you should play Eldar.

They have the potential to Out Shoot (Bright Lances/etc.) Out Maneuver (Wave Serpent w/ Vectored Engines) and Out-Melee (Banshees/Seer Councils) any other army.

What Chaos Marines and their loyalist cousins should offer are armies that can do it all. However, because they are generalists they will do worse than specialists (I.E. Banshees can beat Marines in CC, Dark Reapers Out-Shoot Marines).

MEQ's are jack of all trades, not the best of the best.

They trade specialty for versatility.

Banshees are useless in the shooting phase (even with the Triskele-thing) whereas Dark Reapers are near useless in Close Combat. Marines can do both reasonably.

Right of course but thats just a marine A strong KB(KBs are specialists) squad would mange against the bashees(not including the upgrades that are added, like Doom) and dark reapers are heavy right? if thats the case a squad of oblirators should do the trick. or havocs

Right, but that goes against your ethos of always undivided, (At least with the Berzerkers, besides, the Banshees get I10 when they charge, combine that with Doom and you're basically left with lotsa dead 'Zerkers)

Somewhat true about the havocs, but not everything is eye to eye. Eldar don't have Land Raiders, for example.

Basically, it is impossible to out-perform every other army in every phase as Marines, but what Marines can do is perform in every phase (whereas certian builds like Lash Prince+ Oblits work best in shooting phase, whereas Nob Bikers work best in the Assault Phase)

I think I can use KBs and other squads in the same game like noise marines. If not Ill have to look it up.

I hope you are very young, or else there is something very wrong with the US education system. It is pretty much impossible to follow what you are trying to say

Seems you are either trying to say that it is wise to go undivided and then use a bit of everything instead of choosing one god and sticking to it, or that it is wise to go with only basic CSM "to match the guardsmen man for man"

You do seem to hint at something remotely valuable though - use transports if you want to win (kinda duh, but not stupid at least )

Try to calm down your excitement a bit before your next post, maybe it will be understandable then

Edit: Everyone knows the ideal chaos army is Lash+Plauge Marines+Oblits. Does it make sense? no, can it win against pretty much everyone? Yes.

Edit2: or if you want template massacres, Lash princes, Noise marines with doom sirens, Vindicators.

Vinicators by themselves can go with anything.
