We're only on page 35 and we've found out Robin "0-3 FOC Makes It Cool" Cruddance didn't write the dex. I say we keep it open until HBMC says Kelly wrote it. Even if he has to lie.

Time to shut this one down me thinks.
Better to commence again when some actual new stuff is presented.

I'm surprised we haven't had rumours yet about Grey Knights riding giant cyberhorses, called Thunderhorse Cavalry.

Gah...information the Gk codex is being so mysterious!! Every day GW updates their page with more boring bits on the StormRaven and Blood angels, and I sift through it for any glimmer of Grey Knights, but alas, it appears that we must wait some time before even word of it comes out.

At least this thread entertains with rumors and horrid puns. One question though, relating Daemonhunters/Witchunters in general, is it OK to have induct an Inquisitor/Grey Knights if you possess the codex? Not sure if GW stated this or not.

Back to Grey Knights. One of the guys at my shop claimed in his facebook page to have seen the Codex. Nearly impossible here in the states unless it was an advance copy at a GW store. Anyone know if GW has sent them out yet, or is the little spanker pulling my leg?

I'd suspect the latter, but it's not impossible. A few copies are out and about, apparently.

There is a whisper going around about (another) leaked version doing the rounds, but I'm not convinced by hat and wouldn't be too surprised if it turns out to be another fandex type fiasco like we had with the BA.

The PDFs don't overrule the full books, so you can still use Allies if you've got the rules for it.

If the codex is printed, then I don't see why they don't tell us more. It's not as if (if the codex is printed) they're going to change anything based on our reaction. The books are off the presses, and it's just a matter of waiting for all the financial and logistical moons to align before releasing them.

I mean, do you know *anyone* that gets their hands on some pirated version of a GW book - and then doesn't buy the real one to play with when it comes out? I don't. I mean, I dislike the whole practice in general, but GW seems to have little to worry about on that end.

So...throw us a bone. It's not going to hurt anything.

Once Codex: GK is released though, you'll only be able to use the Witch Hunters for your Allies.
But until then you're all good if you have the book.

8000 points of XI Legion the Space Vagabonds, they can adapt their tactics to represent any and every Legion and Chapter as needed because they were created by the Emperor to be the ultimate tactical power. They have faked their disappearance in order to infiltrate every part of the conflicts in the galaxy.

8000 points of Tau/Craftworld Eldar/Necron because the Space Vagabonds can also emulate their wargear and tactics.

Victories: ALL
Losses: NONE (My armies have the psychic ability to conjure a cataclysmic storm whenever they are about to lose. This allows the Space Vagabonds to teleport away while releasing power waves that destroys the battlefield and so every battle is a victory)

How about a selfthinking robotrhino, who can talk and do stuff, and who has a drunk german grey knight riding it.
We will call it knight rider and it will sell for millions.

That is quite the assumption, especailly with GW loving their Online Newsletter/White Dwarf approach, don't be surprised if they release a "Witch Hunters FAQ V1.1" that states something along the lines of "The Allies rules refer to rules no longer in play" or something along those lines...

I am however, extremely interested in any info from these "leaked" or "store copy" codexes out there!

Devestating Grey Knight Dreadknight

is inb4thelock appropriate?

I personally think for those who want updated rumours on GK, there is no better place than the first page of this thread. And for everything else in the universe, there is the other 35 pages

Well, its one O'clock at knight here in Australia, knighty knight everyone, dont let the daemons bite!

This is true, the first page is gold, the rest is little more than knightsoil.

Although it could be worse than the Dreadknight, or even Knightrider. We could have some infiltrating terminator Grey Knight clad in experimental black Aegis Armor known as the Dark Knight.

That would be pure awesome.

And he could have some captured Necron technology that give him a special rule called, "The Dark Knight Returns."

I may date myself with this one, but are you sure his night fighting rules wouldn't be "Knight Moves" ? He would already have a theme song then.

Well, since the Prospero Burns fluff...maybe they'll just skip the middle man/allegory and just have Grey Knights riding on other Grey Knights. Piggyback.
