I really like the MW chapter tactics... Divination on Librarians, move through cover, furious charge and hammer of wrath attacks when coming out of terrain. You'll have a lot of fun games with those tactics.
My area is including Escalation... so I'm eyeing a Transcendent C'tan...

Really neat Eldar space display.




Nice Tyranid / SM display. Shows what effect you can achieve with some relatively simple airbrushing techniques.

Ice and I talked with the Space Eldar guys, the tri-blaster station is made out of squirt guns, and the large ship is a Nerf Blaster.

I like that camo' idea on the landraider.

We faced two armies with henchman stars and one with a jetseer star and two huge beast stars this year. We went 2:1 vs them collectively.

Thats what im doing to my sharks ... did I hear someone say chain axes??

Did anyone get a chance to try it out and see what its like?

That stainless steel tau is awesome. Never thought of that approach. Not sure what's happening with the white and pink marines, they just looked primed white with spot pink spraying and an army badge on the shoulders.

@Theo: Yeah, that's what it looked like to me. Rocket exhaust is very nicely done though.

Wow, all those crystal brush entries are amazing.
The dwarf is so lifelike and I love the sense of fun around Uzbek's garage.
The Contemptor is lush!! And I really like Moonpie's Emperors Fools Marines... They look like yummy slices of Battenburg

It is always great to read about your experiences and the experiences of others at events such as Adepticaon. I have never made it to a tournament or a 'con before, so if I do make it to one, hopefully I can have as much fun as you guys.

I am hoping that getting back and not being burnt out from last minute paint splattnig has left you pumped up and ready to hit the brushes, as I can't wait to see your upcoming projects.

I'm quite invigorated for both the marine and ork projects ahead. Not to mention some side projects just to expand my skills.

But you missed a good one of a grot on a remotely controlled walker thing that's about to stomp on an Ork. It was made by some bloke, I forget his name. But it was very nice...

Well yeah, but you guys have all seen that one. No big. Besides... the light in the CMON case just sucked (not just my opinion) unless your mini was designed for it. I'll know better next year.

I would have thought that they would try to get the best from each model. Probably too much effort.

I think this will be my last update with random pictures of stuff. The next (last) update with be a few pictures of some of our battles and some *really abbreviated* battle reports with a few side comments.
