Hear hear! GW can wait to get my money, heck, I may even give it a break and switch to Sed-wars and Infinity for a year!

Those suits are just what I was hoping for, even if they have the single pose, plastic should make them easier to convert.

$600k until the next stretch goal? Seems like the gaps between the goals are growing fast. Ah well, if we achieve it there is a free mini so I can't complain!

Best thing you could do is put the money from 6th book into this, I don't think a deal on high quality miniatures like this will come again for a very very long time. Biohazard right now with just the miniatures and bases is an insane value.

I was thinking the same thing after I funded Zombicide.

And then...

We will have to disagree here. I didn't find the zombicide miniatures to be very high quality in comparison to Sedition Wars. I found them comparable to pretty much every other amateur miniature releases for the most part, a few of the special figures were nice but, not for me.

I guess you're talking quality of the original sculpts?

The material used in the zombicide ones looked a bit cheap. Not sure what material is being used here / if it's comparable?

Certainly, the models in games like Super Dungeon Explore have seemed to be made of somewhat cheap plastic, too... not totally sure that these things can be considered hobby quality, but maybe I'm wrong there, or the material here is different?

Gotta disagree on Zombiecide. I got to get hands on with them at Adepticon and they were very nice and detailed. It was a harder plastic like the Gears of war minis are made of and not the traditional soft ish plastic you typically see in a board game.

I did too, and thought they were nice and detailed... for boardgame miniatures. Nowhere near the quality shown here.

Well, in for Biohazard, Ridley, Ramirez, Calamity Crew, Opticamo pack, and Terrain pack...I may have to jump on at least one of these suits too as yet another centerpiece.

And lastly, I sprang for Kara's Last Stand off of the Studio McVey site. Should be cool as an alternate model/painting exercise at the very least, but has there been any word on whether they'll make stat cards for older LE minis?

I'm feeling pretty good about this. I had to cut short a demo Mike was running me through at GenCon last year to get to an event, but I promised to look out for the game when it was available. So, there.

I see what you did there. Yeah I'll agree with the Zombicide folks on that, for a boardgame they were good. Sedition Wars stuff is simply fantastic though.

The stuff like Kara's Last Stand is bigger than 28mm so would not work with SW. They have said they will be releasing stats for any models they previously sold in the SW range on the website.

We can't actually tell that. All the photos on the page are of resin masters. We have to trust that the plastics will be good.

McVey already stated it will be the same plastics Privateer Press uses.

So I must be missing the reference. What is the final stretch goal model referencing?

If it is referencing Tank Girl then that's exactly what I meant when I said 'more obscure/oblique references'. I have no real opinion of Tank Girl (well... the movie was gak), but like the Dead Space guy I think it's a fun out-of-the-box homage/parody piece, which is great.

The real question now is 2 or 4 mechs... and more skittery head-crab thingies... or not...? Someone help!

How many Biohazard boxes are you going for? If only one, you might have a limit of 3 suits.

2 is pretty good. 4 Could be overkill unless you have 2 sets of biohazard for enough strain they can fight

I love the THI Carapace suits, guessing march will be the expansion honestly.

I'm in the same boat HBMC. I think I want 2-5 of the suits and another crab and drone set. But then I'm getting closer to $350 which is getting harder to explain to my wife

Can anyone tell me how billing works? I'm sorry if I may have missed it before. Do they charge you instantly or do you manage it and apply the charge yourself or what? I only ask because I may be a tad short on my pledge on the 30th but will have money by the 2nd of July at the latest. If it isn't billed immediately, it means I can avoid selling some stuff of mine off fast to afford my KS pledge; if it is, well damn.

Sorry, found it. You have 7 days if your card declines. Sweet, I think!

It goes through Amazon money, so there might be additional payment options through there. At the very least, I think you can charge to a credit card, if that's an option for you.

The other thing though is that CMoN has a pledge manager that will be up after the kickstarter ends, and it sounds like you'll be able to add things on a la carte through the pledge manager and not be charged for them until you order. From the comments on the latest update, it sounds like they're going to try to have that up for about a month after the KS ends.

Thank you for the quick reply, glad to know I can grab some of the extras after without upping my pledge now. Phew!

No problem. Can't sleep, so getting far too excited about this instead There's some info on what'll be available through the pledge manager thingy in the comments of the latest update, and the tank girl description already specifies her as well. I'm personally not sure if it'll be everything though. I'd assume that it'll be similar to what they did with Zombicide.

This whole thing makes me really want to make a big scenic board. I might have to invest in some Hirst blocks along with all this D:

Looks good, glad I checked out the comments, thank you. I am also really excited!

Wow more than 4000 raised in the past 15min!

Scenic board would be good, especially with the terrain set

A little disappointed that the next stretch goal is at 600k. Seems a long way off. They should have put it lower.

Mechs are nice might need to get two of those (well maybe 4 but who is counting......)

3500 pts Black Legion
3500 pts Iron Warriors
2500 pts World Eaters
1950 pts Emperor's Children
333 pts Daemonhunters

Next? I think it's the last.

And if they continue to make 40K a day (and they've been making more than that for the past two) they'll make it with room to spare.

They say it's the last. But it's always possible they'll go back on that if they find they've got a few more days to burn.

They should put something to encourage people to go to $250 or $300 or more!

Even if it is something small... do something to encourage those that are in to up their pledge. At a couple thousand people on board, that's the biggest gap this Kickstarter has when I look at it from McVey studio perspective.

Mantic had a crazy level of hit $500 of total pledge get a single limited edition model... and people DID IT JUST FOR THAT!

Not suggesting $500 (please $250 ) but something to really consider

Nice. I didn't expect to see those Thorn Heavy Industry Carapaces as part of this release. I'll pass on them however (considering I already have both the Maul and Mattock load outs). For those who don't know, the currently available suits are identical - you just get a different set of arms. For both sets you can have the visor open or closed.
