Hi guys,

I’m back and have just noticed I have 6 pages and over 4000 views! I’m going to try and get some painting done either today or I will be painting tomorrow.

Hi Hazzer! So came over and had a look at your Blog! Glad to see it is motivating you as I too get motivated to put stuff up for my Blog. Couple of bits of constructive criticism, first try and be a bit neater with your initial painting, I know easy to say harder to do but it really is all down to practice and patience. Secondly when you are taking photos to upload take a bit more time on taking the shots, make sure they are in focus and preferably on a clean back ground, I just use a sheet of white paper. there is a guide on how to take better photos on Dakka in the tutorials section worth a look. congrats on the number of views & keep up the good work!

Hey thanks Reaper Man 2020 for dropping by! I've been trying to improve on my paintig and im trying to be a tad neater, thanks anyway for the constructive criticism really apreceate it (And need it lol!). i've looked at thatguide for pic tacking too it really hepled me and yes I will try to get better pics.

You've got some lovely pics on here mate, on the first page I was going to originally say I wanted clearer pics of Marneus and co, but good to see you got some nicer one I like the cape work on the terminator Marneus model and the ghille-esque approach to the scouts was very smart indeed

Thanks man apriceate it! The cape took for ages on the inside where I did the cape a cloth like color blendind bleached bone to skull white, while the outside was rather easy. The snipers were just a bit of fun that went really well.

I’ve got a problem I have done some painting today and have taken pics however I have lost the firewall cable for my camera (meaning that I can't upload pics until I either find it or replace it) . I've just had "a light bulb" moment: idea: with the picture problem and well I’ve used my IPod to quickly take some pics. Sorry for bad quality I am currently in a rush but I will try to get some better pics in daylight on my workstation. Anyway here are the pictures but the rust and other bits still need to be painted about 75% done enjoy C&C welcome ;

And as far as age, I'm 44 and holding fast at 14-21ish. I listen to Metal, play guitar, drink beer on the weekends, paint / model / play wargames, play video games (or rather, used to before I traded that time for painting), love watching cartoons, play M:TG, and other things on the same line of thought.

The plumbing still works, the ticker hasn't skipped a beat, and I expect to be doing the same stuff I'm doing right now for the rest of my life, be it the end of this post or 40 years from now.

@ HAZZER- If you have your light source at your back shining towards your miniatures (instead of behind or beside) your photos will look a LOT better. The problem isn't your iPhone, it's how you're taking the picture. I've taken excellent pics w/ my wife's iPhone and iPad.

Playing with toys also helps keep one young.

Arakasi checking in. I think I first viewed this early on and there wasn't enough Orks to hold my attention, but that seems to have been rectified, so here I am

1. Need more progress updates! It seems to have been a bit sparse over the last couple of pages...
2. You really need to work on those photos, it's definitely making commenting more difficult.

I like where that Ork bike was headed earlier - any updates to that? (or due soon?)

Your multicultural (multi-fungal?) Orks *do* look very cool.

Thanks man For dropping back In to see you again, btw I am all but ready to update but the problem is that I've lost my firewall cable for my camera meaning that I can't upload pics onto my PC let alone Dakka! And I will try to update my blog ASAP but it will be more likely during the holiday breaks are on.

Dude, I have three teenage digitally addicted sons. I know what it is like to not be able to keep a cable around. That is why I tied mine in ten spots to my work bench and then Glued the SD Card adapter to the shelf it is sitting on. THat way they cannot take it. Now if I can get them to stop taking my soap dispenser off my bathroom sink.
