WOW, i haven't seen the gravestones before. I'm gonna have to order a grouping of those asap.

Also you should know, you miss-spelled "Character" in your first sample page flyer.

Those mirror ones look pretty damn cool.

Do you etch away the mirror backing, or etch on to the other side? It looks like you are etching into the backing, but I think that some simple designs might look good reflected into the mirror...

I'm tempted to request my bases with the mirrored background now! (even though it would kind of defeat the whole point of me having the bases clear )

yeah the backing is engraved so the detail is below the base apposed to on the surface as per normal.

Will have to get some good images of the Live Edge as they look so different IRL.

Those mirror backs look amazing.

Can you do different colour backs?

Also are you able to do frosting on the sides of the bases and also etching on the sides if that's the right word?

You might want to label your newest bases as "futuristic techno Egyptian" or something though

Its hard to be awesome, when your playing with little plastic men.
Welcome to Fantasy 40k

If you think your important, in the great scheme of things. Do the water test.

Put your hands in a bucket of warm water,
then pull them out fast. The size of the hole shows how important you are.
I think we should roll some dice, to see if we should roll some dice, To decide if all this dice rolling is good for the game.

Not quite sure how I would use these bases at the moment - as I like a little bit of a rugged look for my ork bases.. but I do have a few other models/races that these bases would be amazing with. I will keep watching until I get more inspired! Awesome work either way though! Very cool.

Check out my Project (B)log! I would love any suggestion or comments you may have.

Hello!

Quite a bit of activity on here this evening! Thanks for the comments guys

I just assembled a prototype for a single 'terminecron' character figure - I say prototype as I think there might be need for more icons and or details cut out of the 'back panel'

Note the eldar is there as a placeholder as I dont have any terminecrons to hand....

Gorgeous bases!

Wow, I hadn't considered the implications, but those mirror-backed bases would make wonderful objective markers, and other markers like Eldar Psychic Power Effects. Not to mention custom Flame templates and Blast templates!

Not forgetting any Ork players out there...

Where would you say there is room for improvement? Need to nail the design for this one!

edit: its for a 40mm base

I can see Necron players going crazy over these new bases! The mirrored backing looks amazing also.

Liking the Ork base concept!

The metal posts are too uniform on the Ork base. I would say they need to be more haphazard.

Agreed. Some extra wonky armour plates with different sized rivets all over the place would look good. Also, you should be able to go to town adding on "rust" and "corrosion" texture effects direct to the model, which I think would look excellent.

Pretty much what the two above me said.

Also, the writing is waaaaay to uniform. Needs to be straight edges and different sizes.
And even the edges of the base should look wrong, but the spikes can do that.

Also, i wanna see direct effect like Sliver said.

I always hated designing things on software. It is hard enough to make pieces that are all the same, let alone design something to look more "natural" (especially if it is Orky ).

I think the biggest thig is just to have different nuts, bolts and rivets holding things together. As many different random types as you can put on there.

Another thought is to make it look as if the name had been hacked out of the plate, rather than letters welded to it.

I think it looks awesome. Might add that too my list too buy from you.

As before said It needs too look ramshackle and shoddy the writing needs too be like corrugated metals and some normal bits. Difficult I would assume. Another point is its a tad too high for game play.

The recess in the top is to slot your regular 40mm gaming base into

Plus, if it looks cool, no one really cares if it looks cool, or make the model bigger.
