Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Did you find drop pods are deceptively complicated to paint ?
I like the interior console on yours.

I'll tackle both of these questions together.

I think it took my about 2 and a half weeks, between work, study and other RL stuff. I kept the pod in pieces for painting , so it wasn't too complicated as I could do the red on all the stilts, doors and what not seperate from the base and the interior .

The biggest issue then was gluing it together painted, which was a paint.

Pods just suck in general to assemble, painted or not.

Nice work on that one!

Great Drop Pod, do not worry about the rules as when the Codexes come out there will be changes.

Love the stealers.

So much awesome in that drop pod! Love it.

The genestealers are nicely done, the paint job you've given them really does the cool sculpts justice

You have you red down pat and the Blood Angels are nice as well.... Basically I like all the pictures in your update haha

Pod looks great but I really love your genestealers. I have never had much luck at making my nids look organic but yours look spot on.

Cheers guys. Yeah I'm teally happy with how the Genestealers turned out.

Right August update time! I've got the first 8 of my Bezerkers done! A bit of a nightmare to paint to be honest, and I'm not sure i'm completely happy with them if i'm honest. BUT 5 weeks on one unit was a bit much for me! Anyway enough chat, more pictures!

As mentioned I've painted these guys up in a mid heresy inspired scheme as shown here:

Axe dudes

Plasma pistols and Champion

Icon of Vengeance

So yeah. Currently working on a Deamon Prince in the same style then another squad of 8 Bezerkers. Might have to have a 30k Blood Angels Preator interlude which i'll need to have done for the 19th (tabletop quality only, if the damn thing ever arrives!)

These look ace, Doc! I have a real soft spot for the old Berzerker models... Even though I also long for GW to pull their finger out and just release an awesome new kit.

Hi all,

Sneaky minor update for end of Aug in the form of the World Eaters Deamon Prince.

Gonna get to work on the second squad of 8 Bezerkers next. However due to the imminent arrival of my first born i don't know when they'll be finished. Hopefully i'll still do a monthly update, but it might be more WIP images rather than completed models/squads.

Until next time!

Daemon Prince looks great EDC, I really like the armor, looks ancient as if he has been wearing it for centuries. The base is very good too, just the right amount of blood.

Love that you painted his armor to be reminiscent of the original world eaters colour scheme, it's a great choice that adds character and story to the model. Great job dude.

That daemon prince is lovely (if "lovely" is an appropriate descriptor for a Khornate daemon). I'm pleased that you gave him the CSM backpack instead of wings.

Also, congrats on your first child. Here's to raising the next generation of gamers!

Smashing job sir, even if it is a dirty heretic!

Love the armor, and the colors your using. Very striking while still being grim and gritty. Excellent looking force!

Take it easy for now, and I look forward to seeing more.
