GREAT NEWS!!! I think I missed the delivery of the Achilles Kit today!

Why is that great? BECAUSE ITS IN THE STATES!!!

Prepare for some Mongering of vehicles in the near future. Also, looking to have the addons put on the marines tomorrow and hopefully, key word, have them base-coated by the end of the weekend.

I was right! Got the achilles in at 9:00am!

going to get started cleaning and assembling later this afternoon. Hope to get pics up by this evening!

Mongers are based coated, awaiting washes. Pics will be up tomorrow.

Also transferred some paints into dropper bottles for easier mixing and recipe creation.

But, I forget at the moment, if Obliterators are the ones with all the heavy weapons as part of their bodies, I already have a plan for those that are SICK in concept.... practical application will decide it though.

@ Begel Dverl - Thanks! Just got the LR basecoated. Waiting for it to dry really well so that I can begin the arduous and lengthy wash on all my stuff. Might not get it done tonight, but for sure by tomorrow night.

Random thought what are you doing for weapons other then bolters. there aren't too many substitutes for everything else.

@dmthomas7 - Will have other weapons, but bolters are marine bread and butter. Also, with the chainsaw bayonets and old-school stabby bayonets, they don't need close combat weapons as they already have them.

Got the badaab black wash on - gonna have to wait till tomorrow to start the gryphonne sepia as I need to hit the hay or I won't be worth a damn at work tomorrow.

@ 40k Ninja - Thanks! It was truly perfect weather for priming. Sunday was hot and dry in the afternoon, and the primer LITERALLY was dry to touch 30 sec after I finished spraying any part of a model.

Then, 10 min after I was done, it rained haha. Good timing FTW!!!

WOW! that LR really lived up to its promised awsomeness, I cant wait to see it painted, mowing down anything that gets in its way!

Thats them. they "Extrude" new guns each turn. (TL Meltagun,TL Plasmagun, TL Flamer, MultiMelta, Plasma Cannon, Lazcannon)

Lucky sod; it's constantly hot and muggy here, I was LUCKY to get a GOOD can of spray paint and actually get my DP primered as well as I was able to (came out too thick in some places 'cause I was fighting the fuzzies. )

Agreed! Just wish I could run it in standard games. But it IS a MIGHT BIT overpowered.... very overpowered haha.

Looks like a kit bash with the daemon prince 40k model, I see the jawbone from the giant, ogre kingdom head, and some other bits .

Achilles still needs 1 more coat, but that has to wait as it has a lot more surface area to dry.

*chuckles* Finecast Nurgle Daemon prince. Helmet and the rope/hooks bit are from Ogre Kingdoms, horns are Chaos Warriors, jaws are from the Hellpit Abomination, left shoulderpad's from the metal DP, blades on his left wrist are from skaven clanrats, the plates are from the Blood Angels dreadnoguht kit, the housing for the jump pack is from the Valkyrie, the fan in the back is from a Land Speeder, and the rest is guitar string adna LOT of cutting/greenstuff! He's almost done, I'll actually post the finished model (when I finish it!) if I can get some posts in my thread...

But yeah, the Mongers are looking great so far; they'd certainly make for great-looking trophies after my Iron Warriors grind them under our treads a few times!

@ Kepora - Thanks bud! That's a GREAT model.

And thanks for the comment on the army! And yeah, feel free to grind us under your treads, cause that makes our job so much easier as the nanites will just tear you apart one molocule at a time, or we'll just send in the next batch of clones.
