The "arcaballista" sounds remarkably like Eszrah's "reynbow" from Abnett's "The Lost" arc for Gaunt's Ghosts.

The Arcaballista is the same thing as the Stake-Crossbow in the WH codex.
Stake Crossbow
Assault 2, 24" psykers wounded on 2+ and no Armour save.
S3 Ap5 for everything else
Arcaballista
Assault 1, Sniper, 24", psykers and daemons wounded on 2+
SX, Ap5
I dont really see the point in taking one though, the old one was better in all cases. New one is more of a gimmic, needing rending to be useful and Pinning isn't that reliable unless the Sisters get some new -Ld auras.
Why take the crossbow when a melta is better, you will want to be in 12" rapid fire range anyway.

Cause I have models already holding combi-stake crossbows and I'll want to continue using them.

The Godwyn models are definitely carbines to the Marines that carry them, but the Godwyn-Deaz is more of an assault rifle to the Sisters. Meh?

I think you'll find that Wolf and BA players disagree with you there.
But nice to see the (typical) Sisters player sense of entitlement is alive and well in you Melissia.
Yes because wanting a decent and updated codex for a collection of models that you have spent a fortune on is a "sense of entitlement"

Or, to put it another way, spot the difference:

So back on topic...
Based off of the leaked pages (if they are indeed real), Arbites look like an interesting close combat unit. The militia not so much (BS2? And stub weapons are actually generally inferior to las weapons, not superior... and redemptionists are a distinct sect of the Ecclesiarchy, these would be called Frateris Militia, not Redemptionists...).

I play Orks so BS2 doesn't phase me. I just want to be able to field tons of them and be able to sprinkle in some flamers and eviscerators...
I think they should stick with something like "mob weapons" as it is vague enough to allow alot of creative modelling and converting
I don't like the "infiltration" thing, though I suppose they would justify it as the mobs having rushed forward "braveheart" style to engage the enemy driven by their zealous anger or similar, though I think a scout move would make more sense and could be justified with the same fluff concept...
I wonder if these guys will be limited? Will only be able to field one zealot mob per SOB squad fielded or a max like 0-3 or something? I hope not, unless they include a special character that unlocks them and allows greater numbers...

Really? So there’s a person I can blame now as opposed to just blaming the nebulous entity that is GW? Imagine that – this guy’s job is to ensure that their customer base knows as little as possible about their upcoming releases. They actually pay someone to ensure that the people who are going to buy their products are kept in the dark about future releases.

Why do you think they might be rushing to get the bottom of the barrel out quickly? I fully expect a new edition announcement sometime in between Necrons and Sisters, assuming we get an announcement at all and don't just have 6th ed boxes appear in stores thanks to the 'communications ninja'. I suppose he works for his money though, stomping on all those rumors and releases can't be easy.

There's nothing about a Redemptionist that involves 'hiding'. They're bright red psychopaths wielding flamers, chainswords and all manner of other very loud and obvious weapons.
