That explains why it seemed like a recap at first, but went on a bit too long for a recap.

I'm not sure how I feel about the series, but I think I enjoyed it.

You can see people dressed like that at any anime convention. There's one who visits the costume shop, and buys our odd colored wigs, and whatever little anime trinkets we have.

Back OT, I rewatched samurai champloo, and enjoyed it.

I do not watch a whole lot of anime so I decided to talk with a few others that I know who have either watched some in the past or who still watches them regularly. Recently, all I have seen is:

Macross Plus OVA (which was actually pretty good)
Ruroni Kenshin Series (up to Epsiode 17 currently)
Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal

I have watched a few older animes way back when but I do not remember who/what they were.

Also, my roomie got me on Higurashi No (something something). Man, that stuff is wacked.

I liked it, up until the end anyways. Too much for me.

So are the different seasons just different points of view, or different "this is what could have happened", or what?

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

After not having seen any Manga/Anime for some years I recently watched the latest Vampire Hunter D movie (Bloodlust). Have to say I was pleasantly surprised, I loved the first one as a youngster and this was one of the better recent offerings. Some good characters and action scenes without going too OTT as a few of the newer Manga seem to, even though it followed some of the plot elements of Ninja Scroll quite closely (although that in itself is no bad thing! )

Another one I just started re-watching is Ouran High School Host Club. A great high school romance/comedy story with some hilarious moments, and a surprisingly epic finale. It's on Netflix, in English, but I do recommend watching it in the original Japanese if you can. The voice acting in the English version is so-so at best, though Vic Mignogna as Tamaki was fantastic.

I may have weighed in on Ouran earlier in the thread, but I definitely agree. Very feel-good anime. It brought me out of my funk from watching School Days.

That person in the photo bears a striking resemblance to a friend of mine. So it was a case of MFW when i saw that picture because i thought it was my friend at a cursoury glance. She always gets pegged as an anime fan because she has bright pink hair and usualy has fluro green or yellow tights on.

been watching soul eater as I wait for more bleach English dubs to come out. started watching "guyver the bioboosted armour" and was pretty dissapoint. it had potential the monster/mutant things just looked so static.

I think the last anime I watched was gantz which was pretty meh. Green onion aliens are not a good concept

Was that the original animated Guyver series DPBellathrom or the newer one? I thought the original had a pretty good design aesthetic to it, a few sequences in it were absolutely awesome, I never understood why they didn't finish it properly.
