It's in the wargear entry. All terminator armor can deep strike as per normal. That would have been a strange and dire omission (not that I don't put it past 'em).
As for the Grand Master - pick a Terminator, and spruce him up a bit. Tell me he's you Grand Master and it is so.

Couldn't you just use a Brother-Captain model? It is a termie isn't it? It has a 40mm base. What would the gear/appearance differences be?
I don't want to get an extra box for just one termie. Though it would be a better value than the metal model...

A much more significant factor limiting those armies, at least in competitive play, is the tendency of tournaments to hold to strict time limits. Overall I think that Codex: GK will increase the number of foot-based armies on the field. However, I also think that, as always, hybrid lists will remain the most effective.
It doesn't have a huge effect on hordes - hordes might have a decent chance against GK thanks to the ridiculous odds and the fact that fancy power weapons mean nothing.
However "normal" footslogging lists, without at least a moderate to high amount of meching, will have even more problems when GK comes out.

Really? I don't play Space Wolves. Is that a RAW thing, or a deliberate omission? That seems daft. I'd let them Deep Strike. *shrug*
As for the mini - you an use whatever you want - as long as it's on the right base and has the right gear. Heck, use a standard terminator - he'll sure stand out!

It always scatters the 2D6, no reduction.
However if you drop it near a servo skull that will reduce the scatter, probably

I haven't gotten my hands on the book yet, and I'm not keen on pawing through the dozens of pages of threads... Can some kind soul tell me if the Nemesis Force Falchions grant +1 attack for using a pair of the same CC weapon, AND +1 attack for being Nemesis Force Falchions? Seems abusive, if true.

That is a good question actually. The +1 attack comes from it being Falchions, not from being a pair. I would argue in favour of getting 2 extra attacks, but I'm probably wrong.

Pretty sure the falchions are basically the GK version of lightning claws, rerolling wounds and all that, right?
Looking forward to getting my hands on the actual book, although my regular opponent fields massive IG mech+tanks, so should be interesting coming up with a good build.

Nope, just +1A force weapons. No rerolls unless they're getting them from somewhere else.
And against mech IG, Psyrifleman dreads and psycannons everywhere.

No, they nerfed the lightning claw aspect, from what I've read. They just give +1 attack...but I don't know if that stacks with the two identical one-handed weapons main rule. They might "be" a pair, but "count" as one weapon. If it's true that they actually give two attacks (which, it might be - otherwise why call out the +1 in the description?) - then they are offically amazing.

Thankfully I have like 3 dreads I think, I barely ever used them, but the new psyrifle dreads sound interesting. Need to figure out point values so I can mess around with a list.
I really like how the purifiers look on paper, also grand strategy ftw. I've been using my GK terms allied in with BA for some time now, it will be nice to just use stuff out of the GK book, although I still think I'll keep the "Red Hunters" chapter tag and paint job. I really don't want to repaint my land raiders.
Bah why didn't they give GKs to space marines in DoW2 as a pure melee unit, I loved those guys in the first DoW.

Meaning any other unit, like those granted by Coteaz, do count in the FOC.

Yeah, except for the part where they explicitly did not change the rule at all.

I was just thinking about this, and I've probably missed something. Swords give +1 to inv saves. PAGK don't have inv saves. Wouldn't it be better to totally swap out their swords for halberds in this case?

Yes, except Halberds cost points on everything not in terminator armour.

They DEFINITELY give +2 Attacks
Fact: all Nemesis weapons are force weapons. Force weapons are power weapons, which are singlehanded power weapons
Fact: you are told they are a "pair" of Nemesis Falchions. This means you have 2 weapons, which you know are singlehanded power weapons
Conclusion: page 42 tells you you get an extra attack, and the rules for the falchions give you a further attack.
Quite useful

I figure they'll FAQ it because GW doesn't seem to like internal balance very much.
But if they do keep them as they are now, I can see assault-based interceptor and purifier squads loading up on 5 halberds and 5 falchions being quite popular.

The tricky part is that it says "a pair" and not "two". When GW "means" to give you two weapons, they say "two", as seen in the death cultist entry.
I am in favor of +2 attacks, but I feel like GW probably wanted them to be just +1.
If they are just +1 however, they seem very not worth it.

Yeah, it is very odd. They price them like they are better then the other NFW, but they aren't, without a "hidden" bonus. It seems like they didn't want them to give +2 attacks, but still priced them like they did.
