My favorite historical gamers are the "barely" covert Nazis... those guys are a real hoot and can actually be a pain to pick out without speaking to them because while their perfectly painted Waffen SS army seems like it would be a tip off, it might just be a guy who's so obsessed with historical accuracy that he can't sleep at night if one of his Panzer III's serial numbers don't match the known serial numbers for the historical unit he's portraying in miniature format.

I think the artist there is guilty of wishful thinking. I always assume Tau Female are bald, like the males.

Eldar Babes All the way !!!

There are no female space marines
Sisters of Battle would probably kill you if you even mentioned desecrating their temple
Tryanids would kill you and eat you
Genestealers would impregnate you and kill and eat you later.
Necrons.....they don't have girly parts.
Chaos would kill, rape, and eat you, and your lucky if it's in that order.
Dark Eldar would skin you alive and then kill you.
Imperial females some how only seem to be Catachans, Guant's Ghosts, or Commisars and that would make them manlier than you.
Tau would brainwash you into believing cross species copulation would be against the Greater Good
Kroot females would eat you, but not in the good way
Eldar Babes have Daddy Issues, guilt over unleashing Chaos on the universe, and are desperate to propagate

Eldar Babes are like lonely, self loathing, super model hot, single chicks, in a bar with low self esteem and daddy issues just waiting for anyone for ask them to dance, except it's war time and they're desperately wishing for some one to appreciate them as a woman, and not just another citizen soldier .

On Topic: does anyone know if any of the Cultist Models are female ?

Wait I thought that the new fluff was something like Smurfs were created to protect Tau ginger chicks (notice they have no souls) cuz the emprah was planning for neck beards every were to fap the chaos gods out of existence...or something like that...

OT dem cultists! I just want to take a bit out of that heresy

OTOT: Cultists might be the coolest new model that's completely useless to me if they don't incorporate some special rule that you can use them as something other than fodder

Im betting they are just going to be meat-shields. The real question is are they going to be cool looking meat-shields? Also, they will add a new variety to Chaos armies. It will help to make many Chaos armies something more than just spikey marines.

Even if cultists are just a mass of flesh, they'd still serve their purpose and be fluffy to boot. Here's hoping I can put a CSM Chosen as a squad leader.

Heres hoping that if an enemy unit shoots through a unit of cultists, i can elect to roll a 4+ cover save at the expense of one of my Cultists !

No no no... Kara Swole from the Ravenor books all the way!! She's Black Widow from the Avengers, but *from the future*!!!

Also, I think we've stumbled across why Orks are so angry and fighty all the time... if someone could genetically engineer some Orky girls, they'd be too busy chasing them round the galaxy to invade Imperial worlds anymore. You'd be awarded the Council of Terra's peace prize for services to Humanity... posthumously, obviously, after being summarily executed for dabbling in Xenos biotechnology.

Edit: On Topic, I will be buyign at least two of the new starter kits, especially if they are priced as reasonably as AOBR was, just for the mini rulebooks and templates, and taking my pick of a few nice models to keep and paint, and selling the rest on, so there will be plenty of cultists and DA marines floating around the trade section!!

Female cultists would be a great thing! I have the feeling we are in an Enki Bilal comic book when I play, sometimes.

(La Foire aux Immortels had women kept in closed hospices to produce babies en masse)

You had to make that Tau girl a redhead... dammit, now I gotta ask my gf to paint her skin blue for kicks.

Is there a reason why GW keeps the females segregated that way? What, DE, SoB and... that's it?

Their was a rumor that DP vheclies would be able to "eat" friendly models to repair them selves, along with getting "it will not die", the deamon rule (++5Sv and fear) and all the benefits it does now.

Does that mean 3 defilers surrounded with a blob of 30 cultists the most unkillable thing you could put on the board?
O___o

Every time you knock some hull points off it just eats some more cultists to heal it self. lol

Heck even throw a Warpsmith behind thows suckers. Bassicly you would have to one shot it to get rid of it. XD

Girl power's in the fluff. Tanith 1st and Only, Valhallan regiments and a few other places all confirm all female regiments of the Imperial Guard and mixed gender regiments. It's not the Imperium keeping up with the segregation it's GW not providing sculpts.

. I dunno about T'au women. The blue skin I could deal with just fine, but the hooves and the lack of nose would throw me off my game a bit.

They haven't had their time in the sun yet?
They have a stronger link to Chaos than most?
They're green?
They're the 1st legion?
The dart landed on their picture?

Take a pick.

I am really hoping that the cultists will get some nice special rules and supporting characters, because they don't have an orders system or commisars like the Guardsmen of the Imperial Guard does. Oh boy, it's going to be so hard not to start another horde army.

with termis being pretty sexy in 6th edition, maybe the best way to get more people playing dark angels is to give the new blood a taste in the starter set. Or likely it was just that Dark Angels were the next SM chapter to get a codex refresh so they figured might as well go all out and put them in the starter set

They could have orders for crazed assualts like the cultists on Calth in Know No Fear. Their versions of Commissars could whip them into a frenzy so that they'd charge anything regardless of how powerful it was. That way they could act as a tar pit to hold up the enemy while the bigger firepower or elite allies get into position. They could be a lot of fun as a horde of crazed fanatics rather than recoloured Imperial Guard.

In fact, Dark Angels getting a codex refreshment (soon) would be a good reason for including them in the starter box.
