Aloha and welcome to part 10 of Panic's London to Hawai`i - Lashamus Campaign.
The Grey Knights have finally arrived!

A mixed force of Daemons slip through the weakened veils of reality on the wasted continent on the opposite side of the planet from Lashamus City.

A small contingent of a Daemonhunter force arrives, lead by a powerful Inquisitor.

Top of the First. The mission is Capture and Control and the set-up is Spearhead. Sous uses his tarot and wins the roll and forces me to go first.

Daemons arrive and use very daring deployments. The combination of Pavane of Slaanesh and a 3 strong Flamer unit proves deadly.

The Grand Master and the Inquisitor lord are too far away from the wave of Monsteus creatures to do much good.

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Top of the Second

The Great Unclean One and the two Princes continue to munch their way through the Grey Knights.

The Infantry Platoon arrives and almost kills the Great Unclean One using FRFSRF.
The Platoon Command squads exacts revenge on the Flamers by fighting fire with fire (two Flamers and a Heavy Flamer)

And I went on to wipe out the rest of his troops while avoiding or tying up the two models that could have done me the most harm: The inquisitor Lord and the Grand Master. Sous concedes by the end of the third turn. Here are some closing shots:

Sous made the mistake of spreading out his forces. If he chose to pour everything into the Great Unclean one and the two Daemon Princes he could have secured his base while taking my army apart piece-meal. His Grey Knight Terminators were decked out to the teeth yet he played them too cautiously. And to his credit he played very graciously and thanked me for a lesson he will not soon forget.
I love the fact that Daemon Princes have a Ballistic Skill of 5 as that made my two Princes with Pavane pretty reliable.
I could have lost a lot of daemons to mishaps in my initial deployment so my luck went a long way to helping me win.
I will be playing another match tomorrow against another Grey Knight army and I intend to take the same list.
This time I may not be so luckyJ

So campaign tally is now Traitors 5, Loyalists 3.

All painted and pushing 60,000 points combined.

yeah,
It's shocking that you got a conceed from a daemon hunters army with a daemon army!
Looking at your list I thought your fluffy daemon units arn't big enough, 6man daemonettes seemed to small to actually do any damage. they need larger numbers to get enough rending happening.

But then again you have 5 big hitters in there.

the table seemed like it would have suited the guard with large fire lanes.
Also the three central pilars would deter risky DS, since impassible terrain is likely to cause DS mishaps.
But you had no problems.. lucky?

I know what you mean about uising the same list again after a win. I used the same Nurgle List twice this week, It did even better the second time. How did your second game go?

Panic.

Basically I won because of the scatter dice. Coupled with that Sousou played too cautiously. But again, it had more to do with rolling 5 "hits" in a row....

To his credit Sousou does not usually play Daemonhunters so he had to learn as he went.

The next game I played (soon to be posted) was against Pat`s brother-in-law, Darren.

Darren basically did what Sousou should of and pulled off a win, but only just.

The new campaign totals coming soon.
